Chapter 2 - backstory
⚠️Warning⚠️
⚠️mentions abuse ahead⚠️
Trinity Athena evergreen was now an orphan and part of her thanked the great Merlin that she was, but maybe not all of her thanked the great Merlin. The parents she had or more so the ones that gave her life weren't the best of wizarding parents and not that everyone had the perfect parents muggle or magical. Worse than Lucius Malfoy when it came to punishment and abuse or things like that and Lucius seemed like the good one compared to her parents. Ever since she was young Trinity was taught the importance of Pure-Bloods or witches and wizards that were born into families of both wizard/witch parents. It was engraved in her mind from the moment she could understand what her parents were saying for blood relations were very important and to stick to those rules. From that moment she knew that muggles were plain stupid about magic and the best terminology for a muggle born witch or wizard was mud-blood.
Even if that wasn't a very good name to call a muggle born witch or wizard, but it was engraved in her mind that, that's simply what you said to them. Things that would be considered a racial slur or term you wouldn't use if you were of another race is similar to this situation so to speak. In terms she wouldn't learn until later on that the term was offensive and using it was just overall upsetting to the muggle born wizards or witches. The things her parents engraved into her brain were that of importance to them and only them and how they were raised or their beliefs. Of course when they were officially killed she somewhat cared about them dying and no longer being with her but somewhat didn't care at all about their deaths. She cried both happy tears and sad tears at the loss of her parents that day in that moment of time. And the fact she was going to be shipped off to the Malfoy manor to live with the Malfoy family forever may have been both a plus and a tragedy all in one. She had known Draco her entire childhood and they were decently close throughout their entire childhood. Draco understood her need to get away from her parents anytime they came around.
Especially her father because Draco too knew what it was like to be hit by them. To want nothing more than to please them or make them proud only to be turned down and disappoint them. Draco had it better than trinity did when it came to punishment and cruelty's when trinity was just eight years old her father cast a spell on her. It was more of a curse spell of sorts where it left a mark from her neck down her chest all the way to her stomach. It looked like claw marks to be honest but that was part of the spell of course. When she was ten right before they died a few months before hand she had gotten the worst possible punishment from her mother this time. The cruciatus curse which caused immense pain to the victim it was cast upon. It was also under the list of unforgivable curses but her parents didn't care nonetheless and did it anyway as punishment for something she had done wrong or hadn't done right. Of course Draco was her closest and only childhood friend so she had been left to tell him everything that happened to her. On the count that he promised to never speak a word of the abuse to anyone witch, wizard or even a muggle.
She couldn't risk it getting back to her that she spilt the truth that she was being abused at home. She was taught at home about various things such as the difference between certain wands. Spells, potions, charms, transfigurations and different languages too. Growing up she was gifted with the ability to speak parseltounge which gives her the ability to speak to snakes. An odd and very unusual or unique gift that very few possessed of course. Only Salazar Slytherin and some of his descendants were gifted that ability. Of course she was of pure-blood witch and she came with different abilities as well. Another she had was that of seeing and speaking to the dead. Other than the typical ghost that roamed the wizarding world of course. She also had the ability to apparate which gave her basically the ability to teleport quickly to certain locations. That gift was taught to her and expected to be perfected to the max. Anytime she wasn't doing well or messed up in her studies she was punished for it.
Weather it be no dinner or worse beatings it didn't matter cause she thought she'd forever be that way. So her mindset was to be perfect or get punished for the mistakes you make. So when she finally got out of that environment she was lost and confused on her way to not fully understand what was a good parent and what was not. She wasn't sure how to react to what was going on around her in this point of her life, but she also didn't know how to truly feel either. How were you supposed to react, were you meant to breakdown, have a punching fit or breaking things here and there, were you meant to smile and fake everything. She didn't know what to do, she was lost, scared, afraid and lonelier than ever in her own mind at least. She hadn't felt this alone in a very long time, even with her parents around she sometimes felt lonely, hell most the time she was. She had no siblings that she knew about of course, but she was always in trouble with her parents and never got to hangout or play with the kids outside. Even worse some of them were muggles or bugle born witches and wizards who lived in their neighborhood so she wasn't allowed around those types of witches or wizards ever.
