We passed the judgement and we chose rebirth together. Now, we were standing in front of the Lethe River.

"Are you sure, Wise Girl?"

"As long as we're together, Seaweed Brain."

"I'm never leaving you again, remember?"

"You had better not, Percy." Annabeth said with a smile.

"Never." I said.

Our entwined hands tightened around each other. Our eyes met for the last time. Then we stepped into the Lethe.

I couldn't remember anything. I didn't know my name, who I was, my past...

All I knew was that I was holding hands with a girl. A distant memory tugged at me. I felt like I should remember her. Her name. Annabeth. That was it. Annabeth Chase.

There was a veil of mist in front of me. There was an image flickering across the veil. It portrayed a castle. It was dark and gloomy and the village below it looked unhappy, poor and not at all enjoyable. There were two people that were visible to us. I could see their features clearly. One was a black haired, green eyed boy. The other, a blonde haired, grey eyed girl. They were looking at each other lovingly.

When we stepped through the veil, I felt my hand being ripped away from Annabeth. I didn't want to let go. I wanted to stay with her forever.

Her eyes closed as he hand left mine and she was blown away in the direction of the castle and the gloomy village while I was blown somewhere else; to another castle; far, far away.

I lost her again but I'd find her. No matter what the cost was.
