Eva pov

I sighed as I leaned back in the same booth in the same coffee shop the Morganians met. A bald black dude I had marked as a civilian walked over and sat down at my table. I ignored him until another guy, dirty blond, sat down on the other side. "Hello Ms. Stone." The bald guy said. Damn! "Who?" I said. "Come on you really think that will fool us?" the dirty blond said. "Okay but meet me in battery park later you're ruining my stakeout." I said my eyes not leaving the Morganian that was at the counter. The two guys left and so did the Morganian. I followed suit and accidentally bumped into him. My tracking device was firmly planted on his person. "Dave it's on him." I said. "Okay." my master said. "Balthazar meet me in battery park be inconspicuous." I said.

I met them in Battery Park. "Why the hell do you want me?" I went right to the point. "There's a man known as Maxim..." the bald man started. "Horvath and he's planning to take over the city. I know. I've been tracking him and his followers." I said. "There's more we believe he has teamed up with a man named Loki." He said. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the Dirty blond pull out a syringe. "Balthazar help!" I said. I saw baldy get hit with a plasma bolt as the dirty blond put the syringe in my neck. I blacked out.

I came to in an infirmary. "You're awake." Baldy said. I went to shoot a plasma bolt but my ring wasn't on. "Where the hell is my ring?" I said. "Can't do your magic tricks without it eh?" he said. "It is a family heirloom and so is this." I called Excalibur. His eyes widened. "Now foul knave...gah...where is my ring?" I said. "Did you just say....?" He asked. "Yes that's a side affect of the sword." I said. He tossed the ring at me. I sighed in relief as I looked at the crest of my ancestor King Arthur. I slid the ring on my finger.

I was introduced to the other members of the Avengers Initiative. Yes I know about it. Becky turned out to be an excellent hacker. I glared at the dirty blond. He shrunk from my gaze. "Eva Stone this is Tony Stark, Steven Rogers, Natasha Romanvoff, and Doctor Bruce Banner. everyone this is Eva." Baldy said. "Just a warning don't mess with me or you'll end up with Excalibur in your gut." I said. "What are you?" Stark asked. "I'm a sorcerer and so is Balthazar if you remember Steven." I said. he blushed slightly. "Just so you know I'm getting my Enchantus." I said. good thing I learned to teleport.

I teleported to my apartment to pick up my trench-coat, my rubber soled boots, my Enchantus, and my prophecy book. I teleported back on to the Helicarrier. "What's with the 350 year raw hide trench coat?" Stark asked. "It's not 350 years old and it helps protect other people from random outbursts of magic." I said. I was sorely tempted to blast him but I was good and didn't. "We found Loki." Baldy said. "He isn't trying to hide." Natasha said. "He's a diversion but for what." I murmured. I teleported to where he was. I decided to work the crowd. I ran when Loki brutally removed a man's eye. I turned invisible waiting I was about to intercept the beam Loki shot out of his scepter when Rogers beat me to it I turned visible. "How cute a little girl." Loki said. Little girl! I started to laugh. "You have no idea who you're dealing with." I called Excalibur. "So the rumors are true. Arthur's heir has returned." Loki said. If Rogers hadn't held me back I would have cut Loki's head off. after a quick battle between Stark and Loki and Loki's surrender we headed for the Helicarrier.

"Should we be flying in this storm?" I asked. I saw Loki stiffen. "You afraid of a little lightning?" Rogers taunted. "I'm not overly fond of what follows." Loki replied. Then the hatch opened and a man with long blond hair grabbed Loki and left. "If he frees Loki or kills him the Tesseract is lost" stark said. "Stark we need a plan of attack." Rogers said. "I have a plan attack." He said. I teleported to Loki. "Listen well brother." Blondy said. Stark hit him with the Ironman suit. "I'm listening." Loki said. I rolled my eyes. "Eva guard him." Rogers said. I groaned that's when Loki noticed me. I threw Excalibur in a rock and watched Stark fight Blondy. I heard a sound similar to someone lifting a heavy object. I turned around and giggled. Loki was trying to pull Excalibur out of the stone. "Rogers, Stark you've got to see this. It's hilarious." I said. "What?" They asked. "Loki is trying pull Excalibur out of a stone and failing miserably." I said. "Don't speak of my brother that way." Blondy said. I rolled my eyes and walked over and pulled the sword out with ease. "Seriously." Loki said. "Remember heir to Camelot." I said. Finally stark took us back to the jet.

Stark pov

Eva was banging her head against the table as Thor asked her the same question for the umpteenth time. "No it would not be properly balanced for you now please shut up before I make you." She growled. "Any way why was Loki in Germany?" Capsicle said. "It's obvious he was a distraction. The real question is for what?" Eva said. "Lancelot is right." I said. "Lancelot really?" Eva said and stomped away.

Eva pov

Lancelot! Really! I took out my anger on the punching bags in the training room. I sensed some one come in. "Go away Stark." I said. "It's just me." Natasha said. "Oh." I said. I continued punching the bag. "I know how Stark can be annoying." Natasha said. "Annoying is too nice. Asshole is better." I said. "I agree." Natasha said. "Hey." stark said over the intercom. "Good riddance for listening to people's conversations." I said. "Eva Fury wants you to watch Loki." Steve said coming in. "Damn it." I said.

"Stark don't look so smug. It's not very attractive." I said as I walked into the cell area. They didn't even have a chair. I conjured Stark's chair from the board room. I sat down and began reading the Enchantus. "Don't have your dagger today." Loki said. "Keep it up and I'll turn you into a dagger." I said. Loki was getting annoying fast. I saw a spell for conjuring weapons. I cleared my mind and willed a club into his cage. He looked confused until it started to smack him again and again. He finally caught it. I giggled and made the club disappear. "Clever trick with the club." Loki said. "Thank you." I said. "Eva board room now! bring Stark's chair back." Fury said. "Fine." I said.

"Thank you." stark said stiffly. "No problem Tin-man." I said. he glared at me. "What the hell were you doing?" Fury said. "I was reading up on some spells when Loki annoyed me. So I hit him with a club." I said. Thor looked mad. "I really need to tell you guys something." I said. "What?" Thor said annoyed. "That a sorcerer named Horvath is planning on roasting our asses and using Loki as a pawn." I said. "Yeah right." Stark said. "Balthazar, Dave, Veronica, Becky come here now!" I yelled. The four figures appeared. "who are they?" fury asked. "My master, his girlfriend, the Prime Merlinian, and his girlfriend possibly fiancée." I said. "Thanks Eva." Dave said. "You planned on proposing." Becky said. "Here." I tossed him the ring. He got on one knee. "This wasn't how I planned it but Becky will you marry me?" Dave said. She accepted of course.
