Your pov

I stood to the side with Calin as we watched the rest of the soldier train with wooden spears.

Y/n: they are improving quite nicely don't you think Calin?

Calin: yeah they are. Oh by the way we are getting another person to join the team.

Y/n: is that so well let's hope they can keep up with us.

Calin: true. I heard that his strong like as strong as general takashi

(Totally made up general)

Y/n: hmmmmmm.

Calin: there he is now.

I followed calin gaze and saw a guy that looked 19 walking towards us.  He had a katana strapped to his side. He had red eyes and jet black hair. He was wearing strange looking white and gold armor. He also had a  katana that was strapped to his side

????: which one of you is commander y/n.

Y/n: that would be me. And this my Right hand Calin blade

He did a slight bow.

Rene: my name is Rene it will be a pleasure working with you.

Y/n: you too. I can see that you are strong I can sense your aura it's same level as calin's.

I looked back at the soldiers. And shouted.

Y/n: okay that's it time to rest for a bit. 

No one POV

All the soldiers stopped what they doing and sat on the ground.

Rene: so what were you doing before I arrived ?

Y/n: I am teaching them to use spears as well as swords and hand to hand combat.
   

Rene: so you are training them so they can take on any opponent

Y/n: basically yes that's the point.

Calin: commander y/n is the best.  He can read any Situation and come up with a plan to win.

Rene: I see.

Y/n: but some of them seem to get It while other seem to think this training is a waste of time.

Rene: Really?

Y/n: yeah.

????: sir Y/n

You turned to the person that said your name. You saw a solider standing behind you.

Y/n: yes what can I do for you soldier ?

Soldier: I have a message from general Esdeath for you.

Y/n: speak.

Soldier: she wishes to see you in her bed chambers at once.

Y/n: thank you soldier you may go now.

The solider saluted and turned around and went back the way he came.

Y/n: hey calin Rene take care of the rest for me will you.

They both sulated you and you walked off to see what Esdeath wanted.

Short time skip

Your pov

I walked the halls of the palace until I reached my and Esdeath's bed chambers.

I knocked on the door and called out to Esdeath

Y/n:  Esdeath it's me I am here as you requested.

Esdeath: you can come in darling.

I open the door an saw Esdeath sitting at her desk looking over what I assumed were reports.

Y/n: are you okay did you need something.

Esdeath: yes I just wanted to let you know I have received word that night raid has been seen in near a village in the East. So I will be going to take care of it.

Y/n: alright be safe and I hope you catch them.

Esdeath's has a light blush to her cheeks after hearing  you say for her to be safe.

Esdeath: I will thank you for worrying about me y/n.

Y/n: I'll always care for you. So what is the  ?

Esdeath: thank you darling by the way you have your very first assignment tonight.

Y/n: really what do I have to do?

Esdeath: you have to Guard the ministers third cousins mansion there were reports of a shadowy figure watching there house.

Y/n: You got it leave it to me.
