Omniscient POV
Diamond ruefully left Nalia's home, feeling disappointment and embarrassment cloud around her.

She doesn't even know the exact reason why she stole when she could have just asked.

Naila, the sister who she had maltreated for years, took her into her home when she needed help, fed her, clothed her and most importantly gave her a job that paid a salary an unqualified person like herself shouldn't even be earning yet.

Nalia has always been the one people favored the most, she has a pleasant personality, very poised and elegant in her way, well mannered and respectful to those she believes deserves her civility and kindliness.

Whereas, Diamond is a real crowd chaser. Everything she does is to please the people around her.

She always wanted to be the best at anything competed with her sister like it's a situation of life and death.

Diamond wanted all eyes on her at every given moment.

She believed that Naila always stole that spotlight from her. I think that's where the root of her jealousy and bitterness came from.

Diamond has no excuse to justify the appropriations. She sat on her luggage in front of Nalia's building.

Thinking, if she should call her parents or go on about her life without them.

On the other side of the street, Elijah saw his girlfriend's freeloading sister.

The traffic light turned red, he pulled on Baxter's leash as they crossed the road.

He walked towards Diamond standing right in front of her.

Diamond saw two pairs of dark green timberlands boots next to furry dog paws.

She looked up to see Elijah with a smug look on his face.

"I knew you wouldn't last long" He said with a cunning smirk.

Diamond looked away from him staring at the plants near the building.

"I recall telling you that if you did anything to hurt my girl, you are going to pay a huge price for it. Didn't I?" He sneered at the foolish girl even Baxter barked at her like he had something to say also.

Diamond closed her eyes whimpering
"I'm sorry" She cried out hoarsely.

"Why are you saying sorry? I didn't even touch you. My parents raised me better than that." Elijah thought her reaction was funny so he laughed.

Baxter barked happily trying to copy his owner.

"I want you to go back home to your parents like a good girl and never show your face again. Understood?" He growled at the foolish girl.

"Yes, I understand" Diamond nods her head vigorously.

"Good, I'll call my driver to take you back," He told her walking aside and called Jonathan his chauffeur to come to meet him at Naila's apartment complex.

Elijah felt pitiful for the dumb girl, as much as he wanted to make her pay. He couldn't maybe because he was raised in a genteel manner.

7-10 minutes later Jonathan carried Diamond's luggage into the car trunk.

Escorting her into the shiny black vehicle.

"Thank you very much" Diamond said in gratitude and he grimaced in response.

His furry best friend barked at her once again.

Jonathan nods his head at his boss before entering the car and drove away.

Elijah pulls on Baxter's leash as they walked into the lobby of the building.

They entered the elevator to reach the eager man's girlfriend.

Finally arriving at Nalia's floor he enters in the keypad code unlocking the door.

Elijah takes off his shoes placing it by the shoe rack and wearing the comfy plush slippers next to the rack.

He knelt down taking off the leash from Baxter's collar giving the dog freedom to roam around.

Then went into the kitchen to fix a bowl of dog food to keep Baxter busy.

"Babe? Lia?" The eager man called out to his girlfriend.

"Nali Baby, where are you!?" He says a little louder.

"In the bedroom!" He heard his girl scream from upstairs.

Elijah climbs up the spiral stairs to the upper level of the condo.

As he walked closer to the master bedroom he could hear Peppa Pig's voice.

Elijah opened the door to see Lia sprawled on her bed with a halfway drunk wine glass in hand and beef jerky in the other.

"Hey baby, how are you doing on this fine day" He surprised her words weren't slurred because that bottle was almost empty.

"I saw Diamond in front of the building she left already" Elijah said as he sat on the bed taking the wine glass out of her hand and drowning the rest of the contents.

She shrugged her shoulders in nonchalance.

Lia puts the jerky in his open mouth smiling sheepishly.

"What happened, babe?" He asked pulling her to me.

"Your answer is in my home office" She points her finger to the door adjacent to her bedroom.

Elijah unwrapped my arms around her going into the home office.

He see a fluorescent light emitting from the computer screen and sat on the chair behind the desk and saw the camera recording files.

Clicking on the recently viewed one watching closely as the scene played out.

The more Elijah watched the more furious he became.

Shutting down the computer he walked back into Nalia's room to see her watching old episodes of Peppa Pig on YouTube TV.

"I knew she was a snake" He roared angrily.

"You think I didn't know that already I lived with the girl for the past 18 years," Lia says in a 'duh' tone rolling her setting her eyes back in the TV.

"So what did you do to her?" Elijah asked with so much curiosity in his voice.

Lia pats his cheek "Don't worry about it baby, I handled it already" I pout my lips because she doesn't want to tell him anything.

"The thing that is just so baffling about this whole thing is after all I've done for her she still went in and betrayed me" Lia places her head on his lap and he softly stroked her head.

"I miss the days when having a loving family wasn't so evasive. Who am I kidding? Never once have they ever told me that they loved me" Naila says laughing bitterly with a lone tear falling from her eye.

Elijah's chest pained uncomfortably, he didn't like seeing his girl this way.

Under that tough exterior she constantly has, Lia is really fragile on the inside and wants to be loved by the people she shares the same blood with.

The problem with Naila, is that she loves to keep her emotions all bottled up to the extent it's almost exploding.

Until that day come, he vowed to be by her side to comfort her and shower her with all the love he has to offer.

To ease down the depressing atmosphere, a suggestion cane in mind.

"Come on, let's go to the dog park. I think Baxter needs it" Elijah turn off the TV pulling the sluggish girl off the bed.

"Ok, but first I need to brush out this wine taste off my tongue" Lia sticks out her burgundy-coloured tongue.

He went into her closet picked out gray leggings with a black v neck shirt that said 'Melanin Poppin' in graffiti-style art. Along with a pair of white Reebok sneakers.

Elijah took the selected outfit taking it to Lia who sat on the bed with her phone in hand playing subway surfers.

"Here you go" He took the phone from her replacing it with the clothes.

"Ugh Eli, I was about to reach 4,000 coins" I shrugged my shoulders and she glared at him.

Lia too off the clothes she wore previously only standing in her light blue bra and matching lace panties which is a thong.

She turned around to pick up the shirt from the bed.

Elijah bit his lip at the view my thumb on my chin.

"Nice arse you have there babe" He told her before smacking and watching it jiggle a little bit.

After putting on her clothes and shoes the young couple walked down the stairs to the living room.

Baxter was laying on the tiled floor gazing at the view through the glass doors that lead to the balcony.

I whistle getting his attention. Baxter came over circling Lia and rubbing his head in her leg.

"Aww, I missed you too" Lia bends down ruffling his fur making him close his eyes purring at the sensation.

"Come on let's go" Elijah puts the leash back on Baxter's collar.

"Wait let me get something" Lia went into the kitchen and came back with a brown paper bag.

"Breadcrumbs" That's the only thing she said before walking out of the condo.

We've been in the part for half an hour now, mostly playing with Baxter.

Elijah had to buy a frisbee and a golf ball because he forgot them at his place.

Now they were sitting on a bench taking a rest.

"Eli, you wanna know something?" Lia called out still throwing stale bread crumbs to the pigeons.

"I had always had this fantasy of having sex on a secluded mountain peak," She says out of nowhere.

Elijah turned his head a little too quickly.

"W-What?" That was his baffled reply.

"I think about it every time I'm horny" Lia added in whilst still feeding the birds.

"Okay where's this conversation going?" He asked her confusion laced in my tone.
Lia turns her body posture facing me.

"What I'm trying to say is I want you to make love to me on a mountain top." Lia blurts out in seriousness.

Elijah laughed throwing his head back.
"You're kidding right?" He asked her and she shook her head frowning.

A sneaky smirk crept onto my lips
"I guess you want me to Rock your World on Multitude of Rocks, huh?" A big grin came across her face.

Lia leans in pecking his lips muttering
"Yeah I do" she pressed a long kiss on his lips again.

Elijah was determined to deepen the lip-locking but unfortunately, his furry best friend won't let me because he wanted to play fetch again.
