Nalia's POV
Waking up I felt a strong grip on my waist.

I took a deep breath after yawning and a familiar scent I can recognize from anywhere fills my nostrils.

I turned around to be faced with Elijah's dark glowing skin in the morning sun.

that just seems to put me in a trance every time I gaze at them.

I started tracing the veins on his arm with the tip of my index finger.

"Love, that tickles" He opens those beautiful eyes of his.

Immediately, I stopped touching him but he was quick to grasp my hand.

When I tried to move it flipping me as he hovers my body laying between my parted thighs.

"I didn't tell you to stop did I? I loved how you teasingly ran your finger against my skin. Do you know how sensual it felt?" I almost melted hearing his husky voice.

"Good morning" I managed squeak out shyly covering my mouth with my hand because I'm scared that he'll smell my breath.

Elijah grins at me removing my hand from my face and placed multiple kisses on my lips.

I look at him with a terrified expression when he pulled back.

"Lia, I don't really give a shit if you and I have morning breath it's nature and it definitely won't stop me from kissing these beautiful lips" I bit my lip when I felt myself getting wet.

Elijah groans while he uses his thumb to pull my lip back in place grazing it in a back and forth motion.

While his gaze went from my eyes to lips. It was so sexy.

My phone starts to ring and I pushed against his chest to reach it from the dresser table.

I saw a picture of Granny calling me on FaceTime.

"Who is it?" Elijah whispered from behind.

I showed him my phone "Alright, I'll go make some breakfast come downstairs when you're done and tell her I said hi" He placed a wet kiss on my cheek putting his jeans back on and his v-neck shirt.

Then rushed into the bathroom to probably brush his teeth and take a leak.

I look back on my phone and didn't even notice the call stopped ringing.

I called again and she picked up a few seconds later her beautiful face pops up on the screen.

"Hi my love good morning! Did you sleep well Child?" Granny asked excitedly.

"Good morning to you too Granny and I slept blissfully how about you?" I smiled hearing her voice.

"My child, I'm coming back in a weeks time and I'm cutting my trip short" I know this might sound off but why was she so happy?

"Yesssss" I pumped my fist up grinning like a child who was just promised McDonald's for being a good girl.

"And I have a big surprise and I hope it doesn't shock you too much" Granny whispers the last part more to herself it sounded like she was anxious to even say anything.

I stopped my inner dance party to let her words settle in.

"Granny what surprise? Why do you sound apprehensive? And why would it be a shock to me? Please tell me Granny" I ask her through the phone in a panicky tone.

"Calm down my love, I can't tell you over the phone you just have to wait until next week. Now be a good girl and give me my virtual goodbye kisses" I laughed at the cheesy words of Granny and made kissy sounds through the phone.

After a few seconds I felt myself calming down "Bye Granny and Eli told me to say hi for him" I tell her and hurriedly cut off the call when I smelt something burning in the air.

I ran like hell going downstairs following where the smell was coming from.

I saw Diamond looking down on the floor while Elijah scolds her like a kid for something I've yet to find out.

"Hey, what's going on and why does my apartment smell like something was burnt?" Both their gazes snapped to my direction.

"N-Nalia, I-I tried to make you breakfast to thank you for letting me stay here last night" Diamond scratches her head still looking down on the white colored tiled floor of my kitchen.

I raised a brow when she said the cooking and thanking part because right now I'm not sure who this person posing as my sister is.

Never in her life has Diamond ever set foot in a kitchen to cook something.

Also nothing in her nature tells her to appreciate people. It's so unlike her.

"Lia, I came down to prepare you breakfast like I promised and I saw her standing by the stove, I asked her if she needed help with it because she looked like she was struggling but she replied with 'I got it under control' I let her do her thing. I really had no idea she was probably going to burn the kitchen down." Elijah growled at Diamond making her flinch back in fear.

'Poor girl should I feel pity for her? How about No'

"Eli stop it, don't scare her" I told my annoyed boyfriend smiling.

He winked at me making me giggle.

"Diamond please go back to your room and stay there until I come get you, is that understood?" Diamond nods her head sedately slowly exiting the kitchen.

Although we are twins that doesn't stop me from using my 2 minutes big sister authority.

I walked in the kitchen pulling Ezra away from the sink as he was about to start cleaning the burnt pan.

"Babe forget cleaning up we'll get something from a nearby diner on our way to work later on. Now get your sexy self in the shower and your change of clothes are in my closet" I turn him around pushing him out of the kitchen to the stairs and smacked his bottom when he started walking upstairs.

He turns to look at me over his shoulder "I'll get you back for that Love" I just winked at him sticking out my tongue in a silly manner.

He shook his head smiling as he continued walking up.

"Now let's work" I mumbled to myself and before I could even touch the iron sponge my phone starts ringing.

I retract my hand from the sink walking to the kitchen Island and saw an unknown number flashing on the screen.

I pressed answer and waited until the person on the other side of the call to say something.

"Where is she!?" I heard the voice of my sperm donor scream at me.

I hung up on him and turned off my phone because I ain't ready for nobody's bullshit this morning I've had enough.

My eyes fell to the hallway the guest bedroom was located and I began walking there.

I knocked on the door before opening it.

"Diamond, I'm going to need an answer to why your father called me asking for you?" She sighed dejectedly.

"I'll tell you everything" Diamond looks me in the eye dolefully.

"Well I'm listening" I told her in an impatient manner sitting myself on the oversized bean bag in the far corner of the room.
