I knew exactly who they were. How could I not? Everyone knew who they were. Even those who claimed they didn't were lying through their teeth, as word of their success had reached even the most remote corners of the globe. I'd heard stories about them, all gracious and complimentary, but nothing could have prepared me for the onslaught of emotions I was about to feel because of one, in particular. He was a nice guy, they said. Normal for a celebrity, they said. I was ready for nice and normal. I was ready to be his personal assistant, to be there every second of the day, and to do my job. I wasn't, however, ready for my entire life to be turned into a constant state of upheaval by the magnetically captivating enigma that was Harry Styles.

This is a story where the boys are as they are: One Direction. This story will begin to take place in January of 2015. While I will not follow an exact timeline of actual events, I will do my very best to make this feel as realistic as possible based on the lifestyle and schedule of the boys. I'm absolutely in love with all things that have to do with behind the scenes and how the boys spend their time outside of the spotlight, and I've wanted to do a non-AU to really explore this for a long time now. I hope you'll trust me to do a goodjob of portraying the boys as they actually are, or as I believe them to be. We all love them dearly, and I want to do it justice.

If you've read my stories before (Anarchy, Anarchy: Annihilation, Resolution, and Always), you know I like to do a little something at the start of each chapter to make it unique. This story will be no different. Each chapter will feature a tweet, perhaps from one of the characters in the book or from a "fan" account. The tweets will be fabricated by me and they will be designed to fit each chapter. If you'd be willing to let me use your twitter handle to create a tweet for a future chapter, simply comment on the most recent chapter with your handle!
