Ty's POV

I didn't see Adam at dinner...

Ian told me that he'd gone to bed early, he'd done that a lot these past few weeks...

He says he's just tired but I highly doubt that.

Then again, I'm exhausted too so it's possible.... I've been having some really bad nightmares these past few months. All of them involving The Ender Dragon... And Enderlox...

I remember Herobrine calling me that when we'd battled him a few months ago and I'd thought that I'd heard the last of it. Clearly, I was wrong...

Every night in my dreams, even sometimes during the day, I hear a voice. Sometimes it's just a whisper, other times it's like someone's screaming in my ear. And they keep saying the same thing...

'Enderlox...'

I swear to Notch it drives me insane. It's left me exhausted and scared. Notch said that the main reason I was able to inject myself with the Ender Dragon's blood was because I had the willpower to resist the personality of the Ender Dragon.

Now I'm worried. What if the personality is getting stronger? That's what truly scares me... What if I loose control? Could what happened to Adam happen to me? I mean, it's possible...

I haven't told anybody about this except Seto, and that was only to see if he could help me stop the nightmares... So far the only thing he's been able to do was give me a knockout potion, which was meant to reduce the amount of nightmares, he says he can't do anymore than that. 'No one can stop dreaming Ty. Our minds create them, messing with dreams is like messing with the mind... And I don't use that kind of magic. It's too dangerous and dark...'

I wandered around that castle, looking for Adam until I eventually came to my room. I was still tired and it was well into the night at this time. I sighed as I walked in, changing into my pyjamas and sitting down on my bed, which normally was very comfy, but now it felt as stiff as a board.

I turned and looked at the small bedside table I had, on it was my phone, a glass of water and the knockout potion. Most of the potion had already been drunk, but there was enough for a few more nights.

I shakily reached out and grabbed the potion, opening it and taking a quick sip. Immediately, I felt a wave of drowsiness over take me as I placed the potion back on the table and lay on the bed, not bothering to throw on a sheet or take off my headphones.

As darkness finally overtook me, I prayed to Notch that I'd have an nice calm sleep tonight for once.

Boy, was I wrong...

I stood in The End, my back to one of the large obsidian pillars dotted around the area.

A large draconic roar resounded above me and I paled, backing into the shadows of the pillar.

I gripped the jagged obsidian behind me tightly, until my knuckles were white, breathing heavily and praying he wouldn't see me. So of course he did....

A large black shape descended from above and landed in front of me with an earthshaking SLAM!!! The only thing that was easy to identify from the darkness was two bright purple, draconic eyes. Much like the eyes I had when I was a hybrid.

The Ender Dragon...

The Dragon came closer to me until its eyes were but inches from my own, glowing with power and anger, but also curiosity, like he was interested with me. I didn't like that look...

Then I heard it again "Enderlox..."

I yelped and tried to back further into the obsidian "Stay away from me!!" I shouted.

"Enderlox... Come Home..." The dragon hissed, the purple eyes narrowing slightly and glowing brighter.

"That's not my name!" I shouted, running to the side and around the pillar, trying to get away.

There had to be something I could use to fight with, I had no sword, now bow, not even a stick, and punching the dragon won't exactly be effective.

"Don't try to run from me Enderlox..." The dragon roared.

I couldn't do this...

I had to get out of here!

I tried to run but my feet refused to move, yelled in fear and anger as I tried to move them, not noticing as The End began to fade until I was just standing in darkness, the only light coming from the bright purple eyes of The Ender Dragon as it came closer to me.

"Ty!" The dragon began to roar, it's cry filling my ears and making the world shake. Why he was calling me by my real name now, I don't know...

"Ty!" It roared again it's voice changing slightly as it got closer.

"Stay away!" I screamed, trying to swat the darkness away praying for relief from this nightmare.

"TY!! WAKE UP!!!"

My eyes snapped open and I let out a scream sitting up but still thrashing about out of fear.

Until I felt someone wrap their arms around me from behind, pulling me close as I kept screaming, speaking gently into my ear "It's ok Ty, you're safe... I'm here... Just calm down..."

I slowly began to calm down as I recognised the voice as Sky. I'm not sure when he got here but frankly, I didn't care. I just stayed where I was, breathing heavily while I tried to slow my still racing heart.

And still Adam held me closely, saying reassuring words while I calmed down.

Finally, I managed to open my mouth and say "Thanks" my voice incredibly soft.

Adam nodded and let go "Don't worry about it..."

I sat up properly on the bed, my feet dangling off the side limply. I looked at Sky and frowned, seeing a long claw mark on his cheek, small droplets of crimson blood sliding down his face.

"Adam..." I murmured "What happened to your cheek?"

Adam lifted his hand up to touch the cut, taking his hand away and looking at the blood on his fingers. "It's nothing... I must have accidentally cut myself and not noticed..."

"Not noticed?! Adam, it looks like you've been clawed by an animal!" I said reaching out to examine it when I froze, noticing my hands.

It was already fading, but I could still see the black scales and and long purple claws, one looking as if it had been dipped in blood. An animal hadn't cut Adam... I had...

"Oh Notch..." I muttered as the claws shrunk into regular nails "Adam, I'm so sorry..."

"Hey, that wasn't your fault. You were freaked out and scared, It just happened when you were thrashing about... Don't worry, it'll heal." He said rubbing the blood on his check away with his sleeve. "I've dealt with a lot worse..."

I looked down at my hands, saying nothing. The claws were gone, but the blood was still there.

"I knew you were having nightmares, and that Seto was giving you a potion for it, but... I had no idea that it was this bad..." Adam muttered.

I closed my eyes and looked away "I wanted to tell you, but so much has happened, what with your powers and all, I didn't want to have worrying about me too... Besides, you can't do anything about it... Seto says using magic is to dangerous to risk. It could do ,ore harm than good..."

"Well I'm not Seto Ty." Adam said determinedly, his sunglasses lying next to him so I could see his bright yellow irises, they seemed to glow in the dark room "And we will find a way to fix this... What do you dream about?" He asked.

I said nothing for a moment before replying, but not with the answer "Do you ever get scared about it?"

At this, Adam frowned "About what?"

"About your powers... Do you ever get scared that you could-"

"Turn into Skybrine again?" Adam guessed, his face expressionless "Go back to killing people and serving Herobrine?"

I nodded "Does it ever scare you?"

Adam looked down at his hands and I watched as a small yellow flame burst to life in them, illuminating the dark room for a moment before the fire seemed to grow in size and intensity so he clapped his hands together, making the small flame disappear.

"All the time..." He said, looking down and his smoking hands, his voice barely a whisper "Every time I look in the mirror, all I can see is me with soulless white eyes and an evil smile. Every time I look at my amulet, I can only remember me killing Ant and Tyler and all those innocent people... Even now, I'm scared that these powers I have are going to to spiral out of control and kill others... Ty... It honestly terrifies me..."

We sat there in a sad silence before I finally murmured "The Ender Dragon..."

"What?"

"The Ender Dragon..." I repeated "That's what my nightmares are about... I dream of him coming for me, attacking me, watching me, saying the same Notchdammed word!"

"Enderlox?"

I looked at Adam in confusion, how did he know that?

"You were screaming in your sleep, you kept saying things like 'Don't call me that!' 'Stay away!' or 'My name is not Enderlox!' I'm surprised the other guys didn't hear..." Adam confessed, seeing my confused look.

"Oh." I muttered "Well anyway, he keeps saying that, he also keeps telling me to 'come home' Whatever that means..."

Adam just watched me worriedly, clearly having the same thoughts I have on what The Ender Dragon really means."

I wasn't sure what else to say, but I guess my body had other ideas because the words came out of my mouth before I realised I was saying them "Adam? I'm scared... I don't know why the Ender Dragon wants me and I'm scared that he'll succeed in getting whatever he wants. I don't want to hurt people... I don't want to be Enderlox..."

By the time I was done speaking, I could feel small tears slipping down me cheeks and my voice breaking.

Adam sighed and pulled me into a brotherly hug "Ty, I swear to Notch that that will never happen, I'll make sure of it..." He said fiercely.

I said nothing, just burying my face into my best friend's shoulder and sobbing, letting all the fear and worry I'd been holding inside loose.

As much as Adam can promise that nothing will happen, I know deep down something soon will.

And they'll be nothing neither of us can do about it...
