GRADUATION PART 1

Today is the day. The day I graduate high school. This has been my home for the past 4 years. But I'm now going to a new home, one in college. I found out a couple days ago I didn't get into UF, thank god I didn't. I did not and I repeat NOT want to spend 4 years with Blake. I did apply to a different college, one a little closer to home. I applied to the University of Louisville, in Kentucky. If I get in then I think I will go there for three years then go to UT for my senior year there.

I go home and get my dress and hair ready, to me honestly it makes no sense why girls go out and spend a ton of money to get there hair done when a cap is going to be put over it. I do my hair, I do simple curls. Then with makeup, I did a full face. Winged eyeliner, mascara, then everything else.
I put my dress on then I put my cap and gown over it. I hear a knock at my door. It's Jacob, Maya, and Noah. I haven't seen him since he was kissing another girl... "OMG Maya you look great!" I tell her then I run up to her and give her a hug. "Hi Jacob and Noah" I say with a smile on my face. I don't want things to be awkward with Noah, so I'm just gonna play it cool.
I think I might tell Maya and Jacob about U of L. I want them to know and I don't want it to be a surprise. "Hey um Maya and Jacob, can I talk to you for a second, alone." I say, they nod then we go into my room. "I got into u of l and I'm going there for my first three years of college then I'm going to UT for my last year. I wanted you all to hear it from me before you found out from someone else." I say, I'm hoping they won't get mad at me. "I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving. But at every chance you get we need to visit eachother" Maya says then gives me a hug. "I agree with Maya" Jacobs says. "But now we have a graduation to get to, so let's go." Jacob says.

AT GRADUATION CEREMONY

It was almost time. All of us came in and sat down. "Maya Duval" our principal said, she went up and went to the microphone. "For college I will be attending UT" she said. Then walked off the stage and sat back down. "Jacob Jensen" the principle said, "I will also be attending UT" he said then went and sat back down. A few more names were called. Noah's was then called. "I am attending UT" then he walked and sat back down. "Elizabeth Vincent" the principal said. I walked up and went to the microphone. "I will be attending the University of Louisville" I say, then I sit back down. I can tell in Noah's face he is hurt.
The rest of the ceremony went on and we get our diplomats. Noah didn't get his cause he has to do summer school cause he missed a lot this year at the beginning.
Maya and I get changed into jeans and v necks then go to the graduation party at Jacobs.

So what did you all think. I know I said I would post this chapter once I hit 1000, but it was slow and it's been a couple days. Part 2 will be posted in a few days.
