Taehyung's POV

As soon as the words leave my parted lips, the minions charge in unison. "Jungkook!" I roar. He doesn't even need to hear my next words to know what I'm hinting at. Jimin nods as the winds die down. Fire engulfs the entire area, surrounding the three of us, and rising up high.

Better back down,

I spin with my arms extended and palms are thrown outward. Water shoots and hits the raging fire as a hiss is heard. It sizzles and turns the fire into smoke. There's a thick layer of it as the three of us disappear within it.

You're in my domain.

Jungkook's Phoenix falls back some and our magic fades except for the thick layer of cover we've provided. "Plan?" Jimin whispers as his back presses to mine. "In exactly thirty seconds, you'll clear the smoke with your wind. After that, push them back with your gusts."

Got the whole crowd screaming out our name.

I glance at Jungkook. "The second you clear the smoke, Jungkook and I will jump up. Jungkook, activate that Phoenix and attack from behind. I'll be with Jimin here attacking from the middle." We nod, throwing our hands in real quick.

It's a blowout.

Ten seconds left.

It's a hurricane.

I allow my ice to form on my knuckles like blades. I look like Wolverine, except the blades are made of sharp, thick ice instead of metal. Jimin's eyes turn a mixture of grey and silver as he nods and opens up his wings. Jungkook and I unfurl our own wings and jump up.

It's over before you know it.

It all happens so quickly. If you blinked you'd miss it all. We work together and in unison. The wind blows the smoke away as Jungkook shifts into the Phoenix and flies away with the smoke towards the opposite end of the battlefield.

Why you shaking?

As soon as the smoke clears and Jungkook flies off, I spiral upwards and spin in the air as ice spikes emit from my entire body and fly off into the battlefield. The minute they strike an enemy, they grow and tear apart their limbs.

We're a dynasty in the making.

Jimin does as told. He pushes them back as the wind engulfs him. He conjures a wind barrier around the battlefield as I fall back down on the ground. Fog from the ice is seen around me as I glance out at the minions.

We're the royalty.

Jungkook's fire is seen in the distance. The wings of the Phoenix are opened up and ready to attack. I smirk as I glance at Jimin. He nods. "Push offense," I repeat. So, we get brutal and we fight hard.

Now we're breaking down the enemy.

"Serpent of the Waters! Come forth!" I call. It forms behind me and water spirals around my feet as I stand directly in front of it. Its eyes find mine and he tilts his head a bit. It's as if he's awaiting my command patiently.

Move over for the soldiers.

"Show them the power you possess!" I point to the minions. The Serpent bows its head obediently and swims forward. Steam rises off his body as the entire battlefield is drowned in water. Jimin is in the sky now as well as Jungkook.

Take a swing,

I'm the only one still on the ground with the water. It surrounds me and nearly engulfs my small frame. "Come forth Eagle of the Skies!" I call. The winds pick up and I hear the call it creates. I point to Jimin and smile at the eagle.

I can take a hit.

With ice covering my hands and turning my fingers from flesh to frozen water, I charge forward and unleash my magic power for them to see. Darkness swirls around me and hugs me protectively. The Leopard comes forth without my call but I welcome his presence regardless.

If we die it's fine, we live for this.

I work with my creatures as they jump over me and fight alongside me. It's as if they're in sync with me yet at the same time they aren't. The Serpent swims over the Leopard as they unleash their magic and combine it together at times.

It's all for this.

Jimin and the Eagle work together as they knock the minions into the air and kill them with the impact. The winds are so strong that they occasionally tear the enemies into shreds.

We're gonna stand on top with our hands in the sky.

Jungkook's fire appears in front of me and I smile. He's there. His smile is wide as his Phoenix wings open majestically and lava spills from his fingertips.

Gonna raise our cup to the stadium lights.

"Together?" He asks. His hand stretches towards me and I take it in my own. "Together." He smiles. I smile.

For the glory.

The minute my hand meets with his, our magics swirl together again and create a huge wave of power. The minions seem to catch on because their eyes widen and mouths part open in utter disbelief.

For the glory.

"Now?" Jungkook asks anxiously. I nod. "Now." We smirk as we charge together.

We celebrate with the city tonight.

We use one another's power and take the enemy by surprise. Fire surrounds me as the Phoenix attacks with us. It moves through the enemies and sets their bodies on fire. I send flames at the minions as fireballs emit from Jungkook's palms.

Hear the hometown cheer,

Darkness makes an appearance without my consent. Tendrils fly from my arms and latch onto the enemies. They're flung into the air. Jungkook shoots fire at them as they burn and scream in agony. I can't help but smirk.

It's the ultimate high.

There are hundreds of them charging recklessly at us. Jimin's fending off the other side which means I'm stepping in to knock them back. Jungkook nods as he jumps back a bit and flies up to the sky.

For the glory.

I slam my foot against the ground as ice forms and covers the entire asphalt. "Freeze!" I roar venomously. Spikes rise from the ice and impale the minions. It kills them in seconds as their bodies turn to dust and dissipate into thin air.

We do it for the glory.

"V!" Jimin shouts over the winds that slowly begin to die down. I turn to see him slowly descending toward the ground with an exhausted face. He's breathless. I frown, glancing at Jungkook and seeing him nod.

Yeah, we've waited,

With a beat of my wings, I fly towards him and surround the two of us in strong winds. We can't even see the battlefield anymore as I take his hand in mine and press our palms together. He gasps as his eyes shut.

For our time to come,

When his eyes open, I retract my hand away from his and smile. He smirks, eyes glowing a light grey color as his winds return again. "Thank you," he says. I just smile and point to the minions.

Calculated everything we've done.

"Don't thank me. We still have thousands to kill." He smirks as we dive back down into the battlefield. I join Jungkook once more as our powers combine and we fight together. We're throwing fists left and right as we duck and dodge incoming attacks.

We've upgraded.

An enemy sends a breath attack towards us. It's a green fog-like attack that makes the other minions back off quickly. My eyes widen for a split second as Ice, Water, Darkness, and Fire emit from us and build up a barrier to stop the breath attack.

Now you can't outrun a champion.

The attack hits our barrier dead on and cracks the ice a bit. However, it recovers quickly and the ice grows stronger. "Cover me," I tell Jungkook. He nods as fire engulfs the entire area and we fade into it.

Now you're facing one.

"Recall your magic!" I shout. He does. The flames disappear and my magic does too. When he looks at me, his eyes widen at my state. My entire being is made of ice. Each ounce of flesh has changed. I smirk, tilting my head as I look at my soulmate.

Can you hear them?

With each step over the asphalt, ice covers the ground and moves underneath the surface and through the earth. It reappears seconds later in deadly spikes and pillars as it freezes the minions to the ground.

Yeah, it's all for us.

I send a punch at an enemy's face as he cries out. It has enough power within it to send him flying back. He doesn't get far before a vine wraps around his ankle, tightens, and swings him around. My mind controls it as I spin him around, and around, and around until I slam him back down into the asphalt.

You believe them,

He fades into dust as he's thrown down onto the asphalt with too much force. Jungkook eyes with me with a breathless laugh as he shakes his head. On one side of his body, ice sticks to him, and the other is engulfed in fire.

Yeah, it's serious.

"Can you repair the city?" Jimin asks me as he falls down to the ground beside me and allows the ground to rumble. "I can repair anything. Why?" I ask him as I tilt my head and send another ice spike towards the enemies. He smirks.

Hear the siren,

"Split the city in half. Open up the earth until you can see the lava beneath us. Make them burn alive." My eyes light up as I laugh. My figure is still ice but I nod regardless. "Warn the others," I say.

We're victorious.

Jungkook's back presses to mine as he shoots some more lava at the enemy. "Use the elements," he says quickly. I cock an eyebrow as I conjure up a massive ice wall. "I have been," I say. He shakes his head. "All of them, Taehyung."

I'm telling ya.

"Not unless I have to," I say. He spins me around so that I'm facing the direction he's fighting in. My eyes widen and my jaw falls open. There has to be twenty or so god-like figures off in the distance. Magic emits from them and I can already tell it isn't friendly.

Can I get a hell yeah?

"You'll fucking have to," he curses. The ice walls surrounds us entirely and water forms a giant bubble around us. I look at my soulmate who eyes me carefully. His face is serious and his eyes are worried. "We have a big fight coming. This was merely target practice."

Take a swing.

"I know," I say as I stare off into the distance. "They'll need us, you know? Our friends can't keep going for too long, and you can't keep pausing during the fight to supply them magic. Not when we have more than twenty gods out there that hold as much power as Illume does." He's right.

I can take a hit.

"We need a plan, Taehyung. A real fucking plan. We can't allow distractions and we need to work together. So, what are we going to do?" I glance at the gods that seem to draw near us as I frown. What do we do?

If we die it's fine, we live for this.

"Let them get closer," I say. "In the meantime, we need an attack that'll wipe these minions out or at least back them off of us while we focus on the gods." Jungkook nods as I increase the ice and water that surrounds us.

It's all for this.

"Have the others work on that attack," Jungkook insists. I nod. That could work. "Keep that Phoenix dormant for now. We don't unleash that yet. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve for the Angel of Darkness. For now, what we do is we target one at a time. We use our magic to pin them down and attack them."

We're gonna stand on top with our hands in the sky.

"Like we did with Smoldris, Drift, and Glacius?" I nod. Just like that. "We'll need cover. A lot of it too." His hands light aflame and I can't help but laugh. "Use the elements, Taehyung. All of them. We'll need them all." I nod.

Gonna raise our cup up to the stadium lights.

"Okay. Ready?" He nods. The magic barrier falls as the minions rush us. I pull Jungkook into me and unleash a giant wave of magic power. It's strong enough to make Jungkook gasp loudly and throw himself against me. It sends them all flying over a hundred feet away. Some are even killed.

For the glory.

"Elementals!" I roar. They turn to look at me with wide eyes. "Push defense, all of you! Buy us some time and keep these minions away from us!" Namjoon glances off in the way Jungkook and I are pointing. His eyes widen and he nods.

For the glory.

Jungkook nods as we fly towards the gods that are even closer to us now. I send waves of magic power to our friends. It surges through them and I pray they hold out long enough for us to defeat these enemies. With a beat of my wings, I fall down to the ground and summon earth.

For the glory.

It splits open the ground with a rumble. The buildings shake as ice swirls around them to keep them standing upright. "Jungkook," I say as the ground splits wide open to reveal a large ravine. "Get lava on your side. We'll need a lot of it." He nods.

The gods narrow their eyes onto us. I can make out the shock and surprise that flashes across their faces as they stumble a bit with the force of the earth. Jungkook and I stand side by side, spines straightened as we face them head-on.

We celebrate with the city tonight.

"There's no way a pesky little human like you can possess that much power!" One God roars. I cock an eyebrow as I smirk. They come running at us. Jungkook throws fire all around us and water quickly extinguishes it.

Hear the hometown cheer,

Smoke rises up and covers the area around us. We can hear the gods curse and scream for us to show ourselves. Jungkook weaves through them until he finally gets behind the God closest to us. I stand in front of him. I can barely make out the thumbs up Jungkook gives me through the thick smoke.

It's the ultimate high.

As I unfurl my wings, I fly up and spiral. The smoke fades away as I clap my hands and allow huge, deadly ice spikes to rain down from the clouds. The gods are taken aback by my sudden attack and they fail to spot Jungkook. His fists are engulfed in fire as well as his legs as he delivers I hard kick to the God.

For the glory.

The God is sent towards me as I deliver a hard punch to his face. Then, he's sent flying backward. However, he doesn't make it far before vines emerge from the ground and wrap around his ankles. Thorns pierce into his skin and draw blood. Winds surround us.

For the glory.

I raise my palm into the air as the vines follow my command. I clench my fist and let it circle a bit then throw it forward as if I'm pitching a baseball. The God screams as he's sent flying so fast towards the ocean. My eyes light up, literally, and lightning strikes him from the clouds as he lands in the water. I can hear him scream then see the dust as he dissipates.

We do it for the glory.

The gods stand there shocked and with widened eyes. Jungkook moves quickly. Lava spills from his palms and arms and down onto the gods. Flames rise from the ravine as lava begins to fall down into it. I smirk as lightning crashes down all around us. The skies darken.

For the glory.

"Impossible!" They scream. I tilt my head and let my eyes turn a ghostly white. I'm sure I look possessed. "Lend me your powers, my friends. I ask to borrow not only your elements but strength too." With that, I look up into the sky as blinding light shines down on each of the gods.

You're the tracer.

It resembles holy light as the shadows of our gods are seen beyond the clouds. Soros' figure makes me smirk as darkness swirls around me and allows my tattoos on my biceps to glow and heat up.

I'm the eraser.

My hands reach out in front of me as a gust of wind forms between my palms. You can see the tornado begin to grow and grow and grow until it's larger enough to attack with. I hold onto the end of it as I send it at a god and trap him entirely. He screams.

I'll ruin your record.

Jungkook uses ice to trap them to the asphalt. Then, he jumps up and kicks them until they fall into the ravine and tumble down into the lava. We work together with our attacks and use the elements as we see fit.

I'm back here to break ya.

I fall to the ground with a loud slam as my eyes darken in color and a deep, loud chuckle emits from me.

I cut like a razor so call the trophy engraver.

Jungkook stands beside me. Our backs straighten and our eyes glow with the colors of our elements. The gods scream and rush at us. Their magic flies toward us but it's reflected when the elements shield us.

I'm gonna get it, wait 'til I win it.

"How can you possess more than one elemental magic?" One God asks. His voice is filled with surprise and disbelief. I snicker as I extend my hand and face my palm outward at them. Darkness taints it and spreads across the ground in a deadly smoke that makes them cough and choke.

God, I'm so glad to be in it.

"None of that is your concern." The gods look at me as my voice amplifies with power. I feel it radiate within me. I have so much power at my side. I have all the power on my side. From the creatures of the elements to the elements themselves to the power of Soros to the Angel of Darkness.

Can't wait to say that we did it.

"Possessing one elemental magic is harder enough! How can you possess two or three?" They ask. I laugh. Their eyes narrow on me until they suddenly back away in fear. Jungkook even steps back a bit as he allows the elements to show and spiral up into the air around me.

This is my life and I live it.

"Two or three?" I taunt them. All the elements spiral around me. They're in every direction. Lightning hits the ground around me as the rest of the elements hold their ground protectively. "You seem to be mistaken."

Ready to give it my all when you fall back.

My wings unfurl majestically as I raise my palm to the sky. The rainbow emits from it and rises up into the clouds. I don't even have to look behind me to know that the figures of our gods stand there. They stand behind Jungkook and I as I smirk and stare at the enemies.

Taking advantage of all that.

Jungkook joins my side and stands beside the elements as I turn my head to look at him. He smiles and mouths the words I love you. I say them in return then chuckle darkly as our gods disappear back into the clouds.

Game is on average.

"Let's kill them," I mutter dangerously. Jungkook smirks as fire engulfs his figure. We hold back for a second or two, then we dart off towards them and allow our magic power to consume us. Vines emerge from the ground and pin their arms behind their backs as ice freezes their feet and legs.

You're so bad.

The clouds darken tremendously as lightning strikes and thunder rumbles above us. The winds pick up and you can see light behind the clouds. "I call forward the wolf! Lead the pack, Alpha!" I command. The ground rumbles as huge wolves made of spirit magic race forward and charge.

Playing shorthanded.

Their teeth are bared as they growl and charge at the gods. The gods scream and fight back but they can't seem to land a single hit on the gods. My wings take me up as I use my magic to attack them.

Your team scratched.

Jungkook and I switch places as I throw ice and water at the enemies until they're screaming in agony. Darkness swirls around me and falls to the ground as sharp tendrils pierce their skin open and blood seeps down.

Time to assess all the damages.

They roar with anger and their magic power hits both Jungkook and I. We stumble back a bit then scream out at them as our magic power doubles up. "When do we unleash it?" Jungkook shouts.

I know you couldn't handle this.

"One more attack," I say. I clap my hands together as my wings beat. A huge wave of magic power is sent directly at me and they stumble back and fall to the ground. Ice spikes rise up a few seconds before they hit the asphalt and fall into the ravine. Some dissipate into thin air.

It takes a man to stand up to the King.

"Now!" I roar powerfully.

And unfortunately you're in bandages.

The roar of the Phoenix causes the ground to rumble as the fire burns beside me. Jungkook's figure gets lost within it as the remains gods look terrified. Darkness consumes me as it takes the form of the one known across the entire land.

We're gonna stand on top with our hands in the sky.

"Soros," they breathe. I can sense their fear. I laugh evilly as the darkness taints the land and the helplessness is felt around us. The Phoenix moves through the darkness of my magic and strikes when they cannot see it.

Gonna raise our cup to the stadium lights.

"Angel of Darkness! Show these idiots what you can do!" I only summon the Angel, but all the creatures that represent the elements stand beside me. The Phoenix retreats and stands beside me. Jungkook takes my hand as I transform into the Angel.

For the glory.

My wings open up and they're filled with the stars. Once again, the twinkling lights of the star and moon are back and hung over us. I can make out the figures of our friends in the distance as form a barrier around themselves and stare at Jungkook and I.

For the glory.

"I summon the Geminids!" I roar. My voice contains so much power it surprises me. Jungkook's eyes widen as darkness forms a barrier around him. The stars connect together with white and black magic as the meteor shower begins.

For the glory.

It rains down with so much power and force that the entire city shakes. With each strike to a god, they can't even scream before they fade away into dust and disappear into the air.

For the glory.

All the creatures attack even Jungkook's Phoenix. Jungkook attacks with it as my eyes shut and I call forth every element. My wings curl around me as the meteor shower continues. "Let's end this!" I announce. Jungkook smiles and gives me two thumbs up as he delivers a powerful blow to the enemy.

We celebrate with the city tonight.

When my wings unfurl, everything slows as each and every single element releases from me with insane amounts of power. A barrier forms around the civilians, my friends, and Jungkook as the magic hits every enemy and kills them instantly.

Hear the hometown cheer,

The colors of the rainbow emit from myself, Jungkook, and our friends as it traps all the evil we were fighting and throws it to the sky. When we look up, the creatures disappear and the world heals again.

It's the ultimate high.

But the best part about it all is that the rainbow is hung over the entire city, illuminating the sky. Our beacon of hope.

For the glory.

Our magic fades away as we descend to the ground. My gaze shifts from the sky to my soulmate who comes running towards me with his arms open. He jumps onto me, throwing his legs around my waist and arms around my neck as I catch him.

We do it all for the glory.

"We did it!" He shouts excitedly. I laugh breathlessly. It looks as if we never fought to begin with because the city is restored and looks brand new. Every evil creature we fought is dead. Our friends run toward us and shout our names as the civilians stare with wide eyes.

"Taehyung! Jungkook!" They shout with smiles. We smile at them in return as they embrace us in tight hugs. "Are you two okay? How did you guys do that? That was incredible!"

We laugh and hug them in return. My gaze shifts to the sky where the clouds part and our gods are seen in the heavens. Our friends look up too and their eyes water when we see the ones we call parents smiling down on us.

They look so proud.

"Well done, Elementals."

Jungkook hugs me and so do my friends. Our arms wrap around each other's shoulders as we stare up at the clouds and the rainbow we created together. This isn't possible without our team. Our team of seven.

"We did it!" I yell out victoriously as my fist raises in the air. My friends do the same as we scream and cheer loudly. We fucking did it! We grew stronger. We defeat evil time and time again. We never gave up. We learned control and we moved on from our pasts.

We fucking did it.

We laugh as our magic swirls together and around all seven of us. The beacon of hope, or the rainbow as we call it, hangs above us and is on display for everyone to see.

"Kim," I hear Soros say. My head shoots up as I find his figure just beyond the clouds. He's grinning proudly and his hands are folded in front of him. "There's been another sighting of evil in Japan. Do you think you and your team are up for another round of fun?"

We smirk and nod up at Soros as the portal opens.

And, as Soros said, Japan is filled with evil creatures just as Seoul was. My head shakes back and forth as I supply my friends with more magic power.

"Not too tired?" Namjoon jokes as he looks at Jungkook and I. We scoff playfully. "As if. Us? Tired? No way. There's no way we'd miss another fight."

"So, you're down to fight for our world?" All seven of us let our eyes light up as the elements dance around us excitedly. "You kidding?" I ask breathlessly as ice coats my fingertips and water circles my torso. Darkness is seen in my eyes but I smile regardless of that.

"We're Elementals after all!"
