I straightened out my skirt and walked into Gotham Academy with Dick. When we walked in I saw Artemis so I pointed her out to Dick. We ran up and took a selfie with her.

"We'll laugh about this someday." Dick smiled then walked off.

"Sorry about him Artemis." I apologized.

"You two know each other?" Bette questioned.

"Yeah we met at the... park." Artemis lied.

"See you later."

I walked over to Dick who was on his phone.

"She thinks you're crazy." I laughed.

"If she knew who I was she'd be laughing." Dick claimed innocently.

Robin and I ran into Artemis who was about to enter a zeta tube.

"Artemis?" Robin questioned acting surprised.

"Robin, (H/n) I..."

" How random you're here in Gotham City, instead of Star City, where your uncle Green Arrow lives." Robin smirked.

Artemis looked at me and I nodded my head showing I wasn't going to tell, even if Robin already knew.

"I'm uh, here to see my cousin! She's in the state spelling bee, here, in Gotham City." She lied,

"C-o-o-l, did she w-i-n?" Robin asked.

"N-o," Artemis stated annoyed.

"D-r-a-g." I chuckled.

"Ladies first." Robin bowed.

"It's your city, you go first."

Robin walked through, then Artemis, then me.

I arrived at the cave and blocked a fireball coming at me. I met Artemis and Robin, I motioned for them to go while I held back the fire.

"Head for the exit!" I yelled.

We ran towards the exit only to be blocked by a wave of water. The water died down and a fire twister started coming towards us.

"Robin to team. Come in Aqualad!" Robin tried to contact the team. The twister started to move faster.

"(H/n) to Batcave override R-G-4 call Justice League H-O-T-/- Watchtower B-O-1 priority red!" I shouted turning on some faucets.

"Com is down. At least the water is helping." Robin breathed. The room started to fill with water until it was over our heads. The wall broke and we all splashed out.

"The air vent!" Artemis pointed.

Robin downloaded cave blueprints and then climbed up.

"Go left," Robin whispered just in time to miss fire being shot up the vent, "first right, there should be a vent cover right in front of you."

I slid down landing in the boiler room. A person jumped out of the vent after us. Fire surrounded him, he brought his hands up and the fire followed, My eyes widened, another bender. We ran through the room dodging fire until we found another access tunnel.

We stopped for a minute to watch the security footage.

"All four are dead," Robin stated, I punched him, "the cameras I meant the cameras!"

I led us through the tunnel to the library.

"How did you know how to get here?" Robin asked.

"Don't tell Uncle Bat, but when I was grounded I came here late at night to read." I whispered.

"Most normal people would try to sneak out to see their friends." Artemis pointed out.

"Well, when I'm grounded Uncle Bat takes my books! And none of us are normal!" I whisper-shouted. We reached the library and I jumped down looking at the many bookshelves.

"There's a secret passage behind one of these bookshelves." I said quietly.

"Cliche much?" Artemis shook her head.

"You should see the Batcave." Robin chuckled.

We heard a clanking noise, so we hid behind a bookshelf.

"Artemis, (H/n), Robin." A robotic voice called.

"It's Red Tornado!" Artemis jumped out. I quickly tackled her under a table. Robin jumped under with us.

A female robot came in and started to shoot fire at us. I opened the secret passage and we fell through.

"Did you know Red Tornado had siblings?" Artemis questioned.

"No!"

Artemis stopped me and Robin.

"So now what? Red Tornado is one of the powerhouses of the league! How are we supposed to fight two of him."

"You seem distraught." Robin stated calmly.

"Of course I'm distraught! They already took out our four superpowered friends!"

"Well get traught, or get dead!"

"Attention Robin, attention (H/n), attention Artemis. You have exactly ten minutes to surrender or your teammates shall die." The male robot announced.

We started running towards the hangar when a giant wave crashed over us. The male robot grabbed Artemis by her ankle. I grabbed one of her arrows and stabbed the robot in the eye. I used water to move us all to the surface.

"Look out!" Someone yelled, we all ducked under the water again only to come up next to KF and Superboy. The female robot shot more fire at us, so we continued to dodge.

We climbed up the flooding steps. Water dripping from out soaked uniforms.

"You two go, I'll hold them off." I ordered, hoping the nervousness spreading through me didn't show in my voice.

"No, we won't leave without you!" Robin claimed.

"You don't have a choice, go!" I pushed both of them into the water, turning to face the knockoffs I put a look of bravery on my face, "bring it on you knockoffs!"

Both of the robots shot water and fire at me. I flicked my wrists up, the elements following. I broke off a piece of earth from the already ruined stairs and kicked it at the female. She dodged it quickly. The male sent water at me. I lifted my arm in an arch motion sending the water back at him. Both of them prepared to attack again, so I flipped back into the water, bending it so I could literally walk on water.

"Go (H/n)!" KF cheered.

I moved my hands above me sending a water spout at the two, "is that really all you two can do?" I asked, mock disappointment in my tone. The female's eyes glowed a brighter red.

"Continue to fight and your friends shall die." She threatened.

I brought my guard down long enough for the male to knock me into a wall.

I woke up strapped to the wall with metal. These robots knew their stuff. The female approached me, a knife shining in the fire light was being held in her hand.

"Since you are immune to both fire and water, we shall have to find a slower, more painful way to kill you." She ran the knife down my cheek hard enough to draw blood. When did my life become a horror movie?

"Hey you two realize we can get out of here anytime we want!" Superboy shouted. She turned her head, the knife still hovering above my cheek.

"Yeah, I can vibrate my molecules to get out." KF claimed.

Something caught my attention. Robin was connecting something to the cave's power core.

"You can't drown a Kryptonian we don't breath air."

A giant wave crashed over Robin. He was shown to me struggling, then limp. Unconscious and unbreathing.

"Robin!" I screeched struggling against the metal that separated me from him.

Robin was set in front of me, a pool of water gathering around him. Artemis walked into the room slowly. I kept my head down, we lost.

"Stop the clock, I surrender."

The robots reached for her bow and she quickly shot her last arrow at the power core causing the robots to stop working.

She let me down and I ran to Robin. My hand hovered above his lungs, I moved my hand upwards until water came out of his mouth. He took a deep breath and started coughing.

"Way to get traught."

"You're okay." I hugged him tightly.

"Figured my best chance was to 'surrender', drown before I actually did. Blacked out though."

I walked down the steps and looked over M'gann.

"She'll be okay." I assured.

RT flew in and stared at the two robots on the ground in front of him.

"The power's back on!" Artemis beamed.

I felt the air be forcefully ripped from my lungs. I looked up. RT, he was suffocating everyone. Black spots clouded my vision before I blacked out.

"(Y/n), are you okay?" I heard someone ask.

I slowly opened my eyes and closed them again due to the bright light. After a moment I opened them again. Robin stood over me.

"Where's RT?" I asked quietly.

"Gone," I looked around seeing the Justice League helping everyone, "you're hurt."

He touched the cut on my cheek lightly. I lowered my eyes to the ground.

"It's just a cut, it'll heal."

"Stubborn. Come on, let's get you cleaned up." He grabbed my hand and started to pull me towards the med center.

He started to disinfect the cut and I flinched at the sharp sting that spread throughout my cheek.

"Sorry." He whispered.

We looked at each other and started to lean in closer. The door opened causing us to jump back. M'gann walked in taking note of our blushing figures.

"Did I interrupt something?"

"No." We said quickly.

Interrupted yet again.
