Two weeks later...

Connor: "Quadratic functions are..."

Jeremy: "... to complicated for you."

Connor: "Hey!"

Connor, Jeremy, and Ashley are currently heading towards Matt's.

Jeremy: "You clearly bombed the test."

Connor: "Yeah, but you don't need to remind me!"

Ashley: "(sighing) Are you guys going to do this every time?"

Jeremy: "Yes."

They've just passed by some construction outside the mall.

Ashley: "I think that was from that Focus Wave you missed."

They step through the glass doors.

Jeremy: "Probably."

They stroll through the 1st floor, seeing the accidental damage they caused.

Connor: "Yeah that one might've been me."

Jeremy: "We really have to try and keep damage to a minimum."

They arrive at Matt's.

Ashley: "I can't cause damage like that. It's you two dweebs."

They step inside.

Connor: "Of course."

Dominic and Dawn are sitting in a booth while Matt is at the counter, covered in bandages.

Dawn: "Hey."

Matt: "You're a little late."

Jeremy uses his Heal Wave to speed up the healing on Matt's injuries.

Jeremy: "A little detour."

Jeremy stops to preserve his energy.

Connor: "Classes too forever to get out today."

Dominic: "At least Beacon has been quiet lately."

Dawn pulls out a handheld device.

Dawn: "Any idea on when we're going to kick some ass?"

Jeremy's phone begins to ring.

Connor: "I guess we can go whenever if-"

Jeremy answers the phone.

Jeremy: "Jeremy speaking."

Phone: "Where are you ya nerd?"

A spark flashes in his eyes.

Jeremy: "Old fart?"

Dawn: "Huh?"

Connor: "Your dad?"

Ashley: "Say what now?"

Jeremy: "I'm with my friends at the mall."

Jeremy's Dad: "You sure you didn't accidentally use the plural?"

Jeremy counts everyone.

Jeremy: "No I didn't mess up."

Dominic: "You know his dad?"

Connor: "He's the star batter for our state baseball team."

Dawn: "(focusing) Cool."

Jeremy's Dad: "Huh, I guess coach knew you had a few."

Fear enters their hearts.

Jeremy: "Knew?"

Jeremy's Dad: "He says that he wanted all of you to check out the stadium before the last game of the season."

Jeremy: "When do you want us over?"

Jeremy's Dad: "Some point today."

Jeremy: "G-Good thing we were about to leave."

Jeremy's Dad: "See you soon then!"

He hangs up.

Connor: "Beacon 100%."

Jeremy pockets his phone.

Dominic: "Yeah, but Jeremy's dad is in danger."

Dawn: "Scratch that, our baseball team."

Jeremy picks up a new aluminum bat from the corner.

Jeremy: "Then we just save them."

Connor grabs a cheap driver club as Ashley puts on new arm wraps and Dawn with a decent quality slingshot.

Ashley: "(sighing) At least we could catch a break."

Everyone has updated Relay Gear.

Dominic: "Then grab a coffee and let's go!"

Dawn puts down enough money for four small coffees.

Matt: "(smirking) I'm on it."

Matt begins preparing drinks.

Dawn: "Then it's time to kick some ass!"
