Jungkook:

So, Boss. About that dinner.

Areum couldn't believe they had been talking for three days straight. After that first brief chat, Jungkook had managed to ask her on a dinner date almost immediately. Areum had been stalling it, though. She wanted to get to know the man behind the phone screen better before she had to face him sitting across a table.

Areum:

You're very persistent. Don't you have your subscribers to entertain?

Jungkook:

They can wait. I'm more interested in the girl who actually knows how to run a business.

Areum:

I feel blessed all of a sudden, hearing such words from you.

Jungkook:

Most people think I just eat for a living, but you get the "behind the scenes" struggle. It's... interesting.

Areum:

Is that your way of saying you're lonely?

Jungkook:

Maybe a little. It's hard to find someone who doesn't want to talk about my subscriber count the whole time. Let's do it. Tomorrow? No cameras, no "vlogger" talk. Just us.

Areum:

No cameras? Are you sure about that? You're an influencer, Jungkook. Can you even survive an hour without filming your food?

Jungkook:

I'll leave the tripod at home, I promise. I just want to have a normal conversation with a normal, beautiful woman.

Areum:

Smooth. But if I see a single lens, I'm leaving you with the bill... with your subscribers.

Jungkook:

Deal. 7 PM at 'The Velvet Table'. Wear something you feel like a CEO in.

Areum:

I always feel like a CEO, Jungkook. See you tomorrow.
