Log 3

Selection is hard for me. So many to choose. But often I find a roadblock or another. My research of possible candidates keeps eliminating them in the selection. More then 65% of them have been eliminated due to ties of religion or hidden agendas. Maybe I am over-thinking this. Or maybe not. I am still scouring the databases secretly.

For an ideal candidate(s) of the cross species interaction:

1. Not bringing a religious concept.

It is a major pitfall. This is for the Bruttens, the Scallitarians, and the Follirans. Bruttens have no understanding of deitic meanings or religious beliefs. Scallitarians would be offended by such. And the Follirans would belittle them for such a "primitive" opinion.

To avoid any wars: I must choose to avoid this. And also I am a Brutten.

2. Avoiding Egos.

Pretty much self explanatory. I don't want a pissing contest.

3. Must have a certain level of sanity.

I can't have a crazy person to represent humanity.

4. Can not be too young.

Anyone under the age of eight may not be able to communicate well. Communication is the key part of the interaction.

5. Can not be too old.

I have broken this rule once. The poor lady died during the interaction. I do not want it happening again. The Ellicausan ambassador freak out in the incident. He merely revealed his true self.

6. Hidden agendas to help on side over the other. And or plans to sabotage.

You couldn't believe the majority of beings who tried. Usually in failure, they failed to take account of the other species or their own. Often they set back their own species by at least three thousand years.

Scallitarians know how to prevent security breaches due to their eight million years of security. I often refer to their services before I bring someone to interact. Also I like having one around. Their large stature keeps many in check.
