I was devastated.  Emma had found an apartment and moved in today. She never said a word about it to anyone least of all me. I found out because I woke up and she was gone. She left me a note.

   Dear Nathan,

  I am sorry. I moved out. I had to because my parents would not like it. I know you treated me well, but they are old-fashioned. I live in an apartment that I found.

   Love,

Emma.

I frowned did she move because of her parents or was it me? Did I push her too far? "Did I mistake our Friday night yogurt trips for something else?"  I sighed.

   I heard the doorbell ring and saw Emma's parents standing there. I let them inside.

   "Nathan, where is Emma?" Her mother asked.

   "Yes, where is our daughter," Her father asked.

    I took them to her place. "This is where Emma lives, she felt it was necessary for some reason,"  I remarked.

 Her parents rang the bell. I smiled. Emma let them inside and saw me enter in after them.

"Mom, Dad, Nathan?" Emma asked. She seemed surprised to see us all. 

    Her parents smiled. They hugged her. I stepped back feeling like an intruder somehow.

     Adrien smiled at me. "Son, come on you can hug her too," He said. Marinette smiled, "Nathan, you love her, don't you?" "Yes, but she does not love me," I say.

     "Nonsense," Adrienette says.

     "It is true," I say.

"What is true?" Emma asks.

"N-nothing,"   I say.

 Her mother goes to the bathroom and her father enters the study. I see Emma slam the study door. Then, she comes back to me. She puts her hands on my waist. "Sugar bear, did you think, I would let you go, that easily?" She as. "W-what do you mean?" I stuttered. Emma pulled me close. "Shh," She says and kisses me. I don't know how to respond. I think, could she love me?  I  kiss her. 

   Emma smiles at me. "Sugar bear, thanks for all the trips to get yogurt," Emma responded.

   "Emma, what are you doing to me?  You can't just kiss me like that, " I told her. "silly, that is what  a girl does for the boy she wishes to date." I  look at her in wonder. "d-date?" I ask. "Yes, I will go out with you and be your girl," Emma replied. 

I was so happy. I kissed her this time. I wrapped my arms around her. I felt it must be a dream one in which she wants me to be her boy and she is my girl.

    Adrien exits the study, and then Marinette comes out of the bathroom. The two see Emma and Nathan kissing. The two snap a few photos.

"Awe, I am so happy for them," Marinette says. "Same here," Adrien says.

   "When we get back home, we can write to her to let her know we understand," Marinette says.

     "Yes, sure thing, honey," Adrien says. 

Marinette and Adrien go home. Emma kisses Nathan more. She does not know what held her back before. 

   "Emma, I love you," Nathan says. Emma sobs and runs out of the room. She is not sure how to explain how she feels.

  Nathan enters her room and holds her. The two fall asleep like that with Emma in his arms. The next day, he goes back to his place. He sighs. Why is she like this? She agreed to be his girl so why did she run when he confessed to loving her? It was not the first time she heard it. He had told her many times before.
