Attack
(Henry's P.O.V.)
It was like a shadow man. Not like Peter Pan's shadow, but like...like a half dead man who was dissolving into shadow.
"Don't worry, I got it!" I flew up and punched the shadow man in the face. But my hand went right through him. With a smirk, he hit ME in the face, sending me sprawling backwards into a tree. I slid down it and stars flashed in my vision.
"Henry!" Regina shouted, but I couldn't hear her. It must have been a warning. I tried to get up but I suddenly felt the jarring clench of shadowy hands on my neck. He was cutting off my air supply!
Choking, I tried to punch him, but it kept going through him until I was too weak to do anything.
I was going to die.
Right before my vision completely blurred out, I saw white and red magic surrounding me. The shadow screamed, and I fell, heard and saw no more.
"Henry?" I suddenly heard Emma say.
"I think he's waking up," said Regina.
I looked up at my moms, a dizzying pain in my head. Then it spread to all over my body.
"Ow, what happened?" I asked.
"You tried to 'save us' with your hero-ness, but that shadow guy beat you," Regina said.
"Regina!" Emma scolded.
"No, it's not her. It's my fault. I shouldn't have drunk that potion." I hung my head.
"What potion?" Emma asked, concerned.
I pulled it out of my pocket. Their eyes widened. "It's the potion that calls to any fool every April Fools Day. The White Rabbit gave it to me. I protested I wasn't a fool, but I am. I don't need magic, or muscles to prove to my family I'm a hero. I don't need to prove to them anything at all, because they're my family, and they'll love me for who I am, always," I said, my eyes filling with tears.
"Well said, Henry," said the potion, the voice echoing across the field. "Well said."
Then it disappeared, and my muscles shrank. I lost my abilities, and regained my ability to be me.
