"Hey Avni hi" on her way walking towards the college gate Rea waved at Avni.

In reply Avni gave a warm smile pulling the bag strap over her shoulder bashfully.

"Hey babe did Aunty scold you Yesterday for being late" as soon as she reached her Rea asked Avni in a concerned tone.

"Nope in fact the scene was something else..Mom came home yesterday late shutting the shop down.you know na wedding season in on? And Mamma is super busy closing the orders few. luckily I had reached home before her and she was so much tired that she forgot to asked me the time I had come back last night..but no more luck today morning, she caught me and I told her the truth. And as expected got a good lecture before I left. Therefore it's a bad day for me" Avni pouted, let out grumpy sigh and Rea gulped taking in the tension she got knowing about how her mom strictly handle things with Avni.

Her mom is too cool. She has no issues with her late nights. Rea compared two mothers in her head. Her own and Avni's.

"Yes you told me already that you people have sweets shop nearby the market but babe why did you need to say the truth!! You could have given an excuse or fix something like that!!" Rea said stepping to the college campus.

"No Rea I can't make excuses when it comes to Mamma..she trust me a lot and I'm not good at cooking stories or lying, I'm very bad in such kind of stuffs..I have tried once when I was in school but I had ended up miserably..even I feel heavy inside doing those stunts until I don't confess her the entire truth..so been scolded is much more easier to me than not being trusted" Avni regretfully stated.

"Hummm..." Rea took a sharp breath and said "you know what you are a rare piece and the more I'm getting to know you, the more I'm falling for you babe " Rea winked, yanked her right arm holding it she strode forward breaking the stairs upward while Avni let out a sighed.

Avni shook her head gently, a smile appeared on her lips. They headed to their classroom.

"Hey hii Rea,hii Avni" Soham their classmate greeted them the moment they arrived.

"Hey hi Som" grining broadly Rea greeted him back.

Soham shifted suffice away his seat to make them settle beside him. Rea and Avni took their seats next to him.

"Hey Avi you really sing awesome" Soham said, moved her head forward a slightly to have a proper view of Avni sitting next to Rea. Rea is in the middle seat of Avni and Soham.

"Thanks Som"Avni gave a bashful smile replying him.
"Yess and everyone got flat over her" Rea added with a chuckle bringing her pen and dairy out from her bagpack.

"Yess including me" Soham said dramatically keeping his palm on his chest.

Avni made a fake angry face, took a book and lifted it up in attempt to bit him from the back side saving Rea in the middle.

At that moment a professor arrived..Avni instantly brought down the book not before giving a death glare over Soham.

Everyone stood up, greeted the Professor.

Soham smirked shaking his head to make her more angry. She gritted teeth at him, warned through her eyes that she will see him later.

Professor gestured them to settle down on their seats and the class got engrossing soon.

The class dismissed few minutes passed Professor has left the classroom. Students are collecting their essentials hurriedly to attain their next class in another classroom next door.

Rea grabbed her bag from the desk, smiled gazing at both of them.

Avni and Soham at their desks.
"Give me back my book Soha" Avni extended her hand towards Soham, she talked in a serious tone.

"Nope first you stop calling me Soha" Soham retorted back.

"Then why the hell are you calling me Pareshani?" Avni snapped.

"Hey Avni can you..."a girl called her from a desk behind caused Avni looked behind.
Soham tossed his bag across his shoulder. While Avni was talking to that girl Soham grabbed the opportunity, clutched her bag while coming out from his desk. His lips curved a devilish grin passing by her.

When Avni finished the chat and turned back straight she noticed her bag is missing, nowhere to be seen. Searching for her stuff she rose her eyes and she immediately spotted Soham showing her bag in his hand, danced his brows at her.
Avni straight away came out of her desk with fast move and tried to snatched it off his hold. But to her bad luck Soham took few step backward and turned to run away Avni chased him behind.

Strategically Avni reached him pulled his bag from behind which was over his shoulder, to stop him from moving away. Soham leaned aback for this sudden pull he felt on his neck by his own bag straps.
He was about to turn his body backside when his grip slackened. To grab it back so that it couldn't fall down on the floor , her bag blew encircling on the air with Soham as he twirled.

Avni tried to grab it extending her arm upward but while travelling through the air round it hit Someone.

It's hit Neil's head who has just walked in the class followed by his gang besides. Before the bag get thud down on the floor Avni took hold of its straps. Her heart leaped to her throat in panic at the scene she is witnessing being all froze at the spot.

"Ooouuchh!!!
What the hell" Neil freaked out rubbing his forehead.
Neil snapped his brows staring at Avni..he is looking infuriated and Avni winched. There is accute silence. No one talked for a while. The scene this much flabbergast everyone around in anticipating the next moment. That air got itself terrible at the spot.

Soham startled looking at the seniors in front. Rea was scrolling her pH screen standing aside from them nonchalantly who tore her eyes off her phone been heard of Neil's wail and then by the sudden silence around.

Ali kk Monish Joy Raj everyone stopped in their track being nonplussed witnessing the scene in front of them happened just in a fraction of seconds. A gasped came out of their mouth made it much louder that everyone freeze.

"IIIIm ssorry" fumbling terribly with her speech Avni reluctantly rose her eyes at Neil. she was about to touch the spot on his forehead being concerned to learn out how much hurt he got but abruptly flinched by his abrasive yelp.

"What the hell are you doing!! Back off" Neil yelled at her when he saw her attempted to touch him. he knitted his brows stared at her in so much indignant, distasteful that Avni felt her heart shivered at his accusative gaze over her.

Meekly glancing around Avni took a small shaky step. She saw few students are present there in the class still. All the curious eyes are now at her only. Her lips quivered in embarrassment. She pulled her gaze downcasted. Avni is struggling hard not to show how fragile she is by heart. Because by now she is feeling a lump building inside her throat, any time it will come out through her eyes in form of tears.

"Iiit's okay guys. Calm down" Ali said aloud so that everyone hears around and the air dissolve. He took a look over both of them. Neil and Avni. While his pityful gape much longer stayed over Avni.

Avni bit on her bottom lip swallowing her tears which threatening to fall down off her almost welled my eyes.

With all her strength she silently pulled her bag upward which she was holding with her left grip till now. Holding it over her chest she wrapped her arms around it.

Avni threw her gaze at Neil one last time with her glassy eyes before she almost ran away the spot. His jaw ticked to her response.

"I'm sorry it was my fault actually" Soham apologized with a worried tone, tentatively took a step towards Neil.

Neil didn't bother to give Soham any reaction, rubbing his forehead as insolent as he is he walked past him.

Reaching his seat he dropped down his bag on the desk and took his seat. Only he knows how pissed that girl got him but he remained his demeanor awfully cold.

Kk put an arm over Soham's shoulder motioned through his eyes assuring him there is no need to worry about such silly things, they will take care of it. Same did Ali.

Until now Rea didn't utter a word cursing Neil for his this rude behaviour towards her bestie. Even she was in a state of shock at his reaction over such an passable reason.
Resentment evident on her face when she actually got back into reality and glared at Neil with so much ire that her countenance sent an aware like she could pound over him anytime. Grab his hair hard in offence hurting her friend.

"What's wrong with you Neil? It was just an accident. How could you be so rude to her?" with a deep scowl Rea rebuked holding so much of repugnance, even she got startled by her own voice for a jiff.

"Calm down Rea!! he got hurt hence it was just an spontaneous reaction came out of him an instant..he didn't mean it.." being a well-bred Ali as always He tried to dissolve the situation tactfully stepping before Rea.

Muttering under her breath cussing she advanced to snap more punch with her words on Neil but the scene disrupted by the moment their Professor walked in.

Soham dragged Rea holding her hand out of the classroom.

Rea past by scowling at Neil.

Neil shrugged of her glares, rolled his eyes away her as if he has done what he has to be.

Their next class started. Rea, Avni Soham got engrossed jotting down their notes but inside they are disturbed by their thoughts, however from different reasons.

Rea- This Neil god...what he think of himself!! I wouldn't see his face ever if he doesn't apologize to Avni.

Soham-Shit!! Neil has gone mad at Avni because of me..I'll say sorry to her later. She didn't deserve his wrath when I am at fault.

Avni- Today His eyes over me, as if I'm some trash, don't even deserve a word from him in reply of my apologies. I have seen hatred in his eyes. I said sorry but he didn't bother. How he totally ignored me, looked away, like I don't exists.

Soham Avni Rea, three gathered in canteen discussing the chapters they have to cover up next, seeping their coffee in between.

Rea secretly motioned Soham through her eyes to talk to Avni while Avni was busy going through the notes taken by her today in the class.

Soham coughed preparing himself, he grabbed her attention.

Avni rose her eyes looked straight at Soham. There grew a frown on her face, she flipped her eyelids few times comprehending why there are awfully quite since long. Except those study talk here and there.

"What do you like to have miss Pareshani? As you see I can't wait anymore I'm very hungry" Soham asked Avni and gave a cheeky smile like his usual self.

"You Sohaa!! stop it I said" Avni raised her book to hit him but paused in the mid air as a warning.

Even Rea joined Avni she a good push on his shoulder playfully, Soham put down his head covering his face to save himself from their hit.

When to look over Soham slowly uncovered his face peeped between his fingers.
Looking at his scared face Rea Avni both burst into giggle. So did Soham joining them in laughter.

Soon Rea and Soham lessened up their giggle procuring the pleasing effect their hearts have received watching Avni giggling this heartful. But after few seconds seeing them weirdly grining staring at her, her giggle slowed down.

Rea blinked her eyes in assurance looking at her smiling face, she sighed...it's seems how happy they are seeing her smiling face after the distasteful incident, that has happened back there.

Avni furrowed her brows then smiled briefly staring at her bestie..she heaved a sigh understanding what's they are trying to convey her.

Her happiness matters to these people. She has luckily met them amidst all odd.

That's what Avni thought inwardly, looked away their gaze with little pinkish hew on her cheeks both sides. It's a sign how elated she feels being with them. And she knows they care.

" Now leave and get some sandwich and burger for us" Rea ordered Soham with a authoritative tone and he sighed dramatically. Avni grinned broadly.

Thereafter it's Soham who rolled his eyes skyward, stood up, ambled towards the canteen counter to grab some food for himself and the two girls who he calls them his bestie.

Friend is one who tolerate your worst mood
Manage to laugh on your silly jokes
And know the reason behind your smallest tears..
