Prerna was glad that Neil had decided to move on. The news of Neil's resignation form BS came as breather for her. She started pushing him towards Soniya, Neil did all what Soniya wanted. He believed it to be his duty, after all it was his decision to move on with Soniya . She never came to him, it was him who went to her because he believed it was the only way to forget Sam and now he was repenting it. Forgetting was far, she had started moving deeper into his heart. He loved her with every fiber.  

''Neil, I just saw the recording of your previous show. My god you can be a international star.'' Soniya exclaimed 

Neil just smiled in return whispering a polite thanks. She clasped her hands together expectantly, ''When do I get a personalised show''

''Any day. After all you are his fiance'' Prerna added

Neil smiled, ''I have given up music. Forever.'' With that he took the stairs to his room. throwing his laptop and wallet on the bed he crashed on the couch, staring at the oblivion. Everything seemed empty, lonely and colourless.

A loud thunder broke his thoughts, he walked into the balcony to watch the shower that bought down the soaring temperature. The sound of droplets chimed a music which took him back to memories, Sam loved rains. She would always enjoy the first shower , welcoming it with open arms. He closed his eyes to recall her face , a smile stretched on to his lips as he stepped out in the rain. he opened his arms and closed his turning his face up to the shower , the droplets reminded him of her eyes, her smile, her enthusiasm and her madness. The smile grew wider but acquired tears as partners, his tears sang a medley with the drops hiding his pain from rest of the world. this moment was his and his Sam's.

Sam stood on the terrace, letting the rain drench her. Like Neil she too hid her tears behind the shower. The droplets which felt like dew in the past now seemed lashing her skin like a whip. She cursed herself, all her life she had her love right beside her and she turned blind to it. This was the punishment for ignoring something so precious. She took a deep breath, walking to the edge of the terrace balcony. each day felt like walking on the edge, she felt her heart would gave up any day. Sounds of laughter made her eyes to look down, she smiled. Love somehow finds its way. Shruti and Jai enjoyed the first shower lost in each other. Her lips stretched,  she was happy that after so much of pain his life took a beautiful turn. 

She couldn't watch them for long and turned away, pulling her self in a corner Sam hid her face in her knees crying her heart out. She missed him and knew that it would be impossible to forget him.

''God ! the city will drown if it continues to pour this way.'' Arjun said entering the hall. Nandini watched him from the corner of her eyes, ''Such an over dramatic soul you are. Its the weather to enjoy tea and snacks. I am loving it

Arjun frowned, ''You are not supposed to eat all that'' he pointed it out to the table full of oily snacks

''Am I supposed to breathe.'' She replied all emotional. He stared at his sister for good 10 mins and then gestured the help to take the snacks away, ''try this on someone else.'' Nandini pouted, he smiled and placed a peck on the top of her head. He made his way to his room, his feet halted hearing faint singing from his room. He smiled, it was after days she decided to sing. Last he had heard her in Hrishikesh, and watched her dancing in rain. When he stepped in, he found her in the balcony, her arms open wide as she twirled around enjoying the shower. Her lips murmuring her creation, ''Manmarziyon pea b hum chale...'' She sang how she was adamant about her dream and wouldn't back out till she achieves it.

He grinned wider when she hopped and kicked the water droplets that competed against each other to touch her vibrant form. He watched mesmerised, if life could be given a body it would defiantly be Radhika. His Radhika. Around her , everything came to life. The darkness turned into starry night, days turned into blooming moments , her smiles were brighter than the Sun and her laughter was merrier than the morning chirps of birds. He forgot all his pains just at the mere sight of hers, he took slow steps towards her as she kept dancing in her own world.

Radhika was beyond happy. Rains were her favourite, dadaji always called it a natures blessing to calm the burning earth. She felt the same, last few days have been hectic around Neil and Sam. She wanted them to unite but Sam had taken Prerna's words to her heart. She had noticed how Sam had completely thrown herself at reviving BS, She shook her head, for now she just wanted to live the moment.

She abruptly turned to collide with Arjun, his hands immediately went around her holding her still.His eyes admired her beautiful form, droplets settled on her skin like dew on petals. Hesitantly he lifted his palm to cup her cheek, she didn't move back but lowered her eyes. His heart celebrated  this small acceptance. ''One minute'' he said and walked in to switch on the music, walking back to her he extended his hand and she took it. Pulling her close , he danced along with her all over the balcony, getting soaked in love. They did fun moments  jumping in water. Arjun pushed her away holding her hands and then rolled her in, plastering her back to his front. He placed his chin on her shoulder removing her wet strands. They moved slowly with each other as shower created a beautiful melody around them. He wanted the time to stop so that he could live all his in this one moment.

He turned her around, ''I love you Radhika''

''How much?'' She asked

''Beyond the limits'' he answered

''Can you prove it?''

''Try me.''

''What can you do for me?'' She asked

''Anything...just anything.'' his voice came firm, determined and confident

Radhika took a step forward, ''Can you give up your revenge, this madness . Can you leave everything behind and move forward with me. Can you give me a chance to help heal your pain.'' He stayed silent, his eyes locked with hers. he just couldn't break it. She was here, with him, ready to give their life and relationship a chance. She was willing to accept his love , could he just let go the revenge which he had been breathing like air. Can he forgive the ones who took the most important people away from him. The one who killed his parents , the one who left Nandini with a broken heart . Could he forgive the ones who destroyed his family, the only thing he ever craved for. But she too was offering him a family, his family with her.

He looked at her expectant eyes, ''Sir answer me please. I am taking a step are you willing to take another one?'' He thought, if he refused she would walk away from him now and he would lose her forever. He was aware that she wouldn't forgive him ever. 

Radhika waited with baited breath, she too had fallen for him. His love had melted her hate, she wanted to leave things behind and move forward. She knew she had asked a big prize, but couldn't think of anything better than this. She had seen his desperation for her and now she wanted to feel that love. He might appear an arrogant evil man but with her he was soft, loving and dedicated. She too wanted to give him a chance and have a life which every girl dreamt off. But what if, he refused.

Arjun locked his eyes with her, ''Fine, as you say. Nothing comes before you. I want to spend my life with you.'' For a moment Radhika couldn't react, she kept staring at him. He smiled at her shocked reaction and then opened his arms. Radhika smiled and hugged him, ''Do you love me Radhika?'' he asked

''I don't know. But I don't want to hate you, I want to give us a chance.''

He stared at her for a minute, not ready to believe what she said, ''Why this sudden change of heart? Are you planning something against me with Sam?''

''If I had to plan, why would I ask you to give up your revenge. I just want this madness to end. Too many of us are facing the burnt of it.''

''So it isn't about me, its about Neil and Sam.''

Radhika shook her head, ''Why can't you see the other side, its about us too. I don't want to be with someone full of hatred.'' Her reply took him back in memories. he recalled a fight as a child , he had befriended a boy and was happy to gain one more friend other than he had one in school. A prestigious one where he had secured a seat due to his high IQ.The guy back stabbed him by reporting about his failed attempt to escape from the orphanage. Arjun had been thrashed all night. When his best friend found out, Arjun had been burning with rage and pain his words rang his ears again in Radhika's voice, ''Why can't you see the Positive side, you got save from a bigger betrayal''  He missed his best friend a lot.

He closed his eyes recalling the calm face of his friend, but he couldn't the memory seemed to be distant. That very day he had met with an accident and that's when his adoptive family came into the picture. Arjun never got a chance to say goodbye to his friend.

''Sir, are you listening?'' Radhika shook him slightly bringing him back to present. His brain tok over his heart, his greed to own her over shadowed his senses of rational and emotional thinking. He smiled, ''Fine, as you say. But I will need some time to wind up. Radhika, I too have a condition''

She gestured him to speak. He turned away and leaned over on to the balcony with his back to her, ''You will give up your job at BS. ''

''You don't want me to work''

''No, I don't want you to work at BS. I will help you find something matching your interest.'' She thought. If the price she had to pay for the peace was worth, for him to leave the route of revenge. After a minute she replied, ''Done! But I too need to wind my projects. I will full fill my promise to Sam''

''Leaving BS means leaving everyone associated with it behind. I may have given up my revenge, but I still hate them. Are you ready to compromise your friendship.'' His voice had a challenge, as if he was testing her limits.

She fidgeted, then closed her eyes. She had started the bargain and now it was her turn to give the share, ''Yes, only after completing my projects.''

He smiled to the darkness, ''You have 2 months.'' His expression were in his control, softening his features he turned to her and opened his arms. She smiled wide, a genuine one and accepted the hug he offered. She was sure she would melt his heart, and was able to make him think rationally But did she? Did she really know the actual Arjun?
