The rain came down hard, putting out the fires, just making a plume of smoke rise. From the distance horse galloping could be heard
"David....where is my daughter?" The King asked worriedly
"My League.......the princess has been taking" David said regretably
"Why.....why her.....what did she do to deserve this" The King started wailing
"Sir if I may, that wasn't no ordinary Dragon" David said trying to calm the King down
"What was it then" The King said snapping a little
"The Dragon Of Death, the King of them all, Fal Dro Kin, I read about him in the scrolls, said to be the biggest and strongest Dragon to ever roam the earth" David Explained
"You....come with me.....the Scrolls, you said you read them?" The King asked worriedly
"Always" David replied
"Then you know about the war" The King asked
David responded with "Well I haven't made it that far yet"
"Back to the castle, it may be partially destroyed, but the Dragon didn't take down the library" the king said getting back on his horse
They rode back and made it to the library
"David, start reading" The King yelled
"It talks about the war, how we didn't beat the Dragons alone" David said
"What helped, I want my daughter back" The King begged
"Another Dragon" David had trouble saying
"What?" The King asked
"A Dragon, goes by the name Yuvon" David explained
"How did he help" The King asked
"It says that he gave all the major positions of Fal Dro Kin's castle, though many still died those days" David said as he rolled up the scroll
"You....go find Yuvon" the King Demanded
"Right away" David said
"Don't come back without my daughter, she means the world to me" The King said
David got on his horse and followed the map. As he was riding his horse. When he went across the bridge something came up from under it and kicked him off his horse. David looked up to see an Assassin from one of the rivaling kingdoms.
"So what are you doing boy" the Female Assassin asked
"I'm on a mission from my King...and you're intruding" David replied
"Intruding, but you came on my turf, I was stationed at this bridge honey, now tell me your mission and I might let you live" The Female Assassin said
"I'm to find Yuvon" David said
"Yuvon? So the dragons returning is true, isn't there anything else you want to tell me" The Assassin asked seductively
"Sorry honey, but I have to go" David said as he picked her up and through her into the pond under the bridge.
He got on his horse and started riding again. The Assassin then got on her horse and started chasing David.
"No One throws me off a bridge" The Assassin scream
"I'm sorry ma'am but I'm extremely busy, I'll come back later" David screamed back.
When he looked ahead he saw a cave, he jumped off his horse and rolled in, still being followed by the Assassin. When he made it to the main hall it was all skulls of animals, humans and dragons. David was then tackled from behind and into the bone pile. When they hit it, it caused the bones to move revealing the eye of a sleeping Dragon. It slowly started getting up smelling the air, David got up and saw it.
"Pruzah, Hi located Dii Lair, Wo Los Hi" the dragon said towering over David
"I uh.....uh" David stuttered
The dragon was large, not as big as Fal Dro Kin, he was green, and had massive wings, sharp teeth and two spikes on his head.
"I see you don't speak the language of Dragons" The beast said in a low and deep voice, that echoed through the chamber.
"May I ask....w-who you are?" David asked.
"Very rude asking me who I am, when you came in here, I know you're not alone, I can smell her, the scent of death, I've been around it for centuries" the Dragon said raising his neck.
"I am David Rahgot, I am a knight, I am looking for a princess" David said Confidentaly
"So you came to kill me" The dragon said in anger
"No no no, I was looking for the great Yuvon, I read his stories in scrolls, it would be cool to see if the scrolls were accurate" David explained
"Well you're looking at Yuvon" Yuvon said
"You're Yuvon, I cant believe it" David said
Yuvon then moved to make himself more seen
"And do you NOW" Yuvon echoed.
"Definitely....I read that you helped the humans" David said, trying not to stutter
"I helped, but they never gave me their payment, they may have slain my father, but they didn't keep their part of the deal" Yuvon said angrily "and you expect me to help you...imp"
"Fal Dro Kin has returned and kidnapped the Princess I was to protect" David explained
"Well you're not very good at your job wretch" Yuvon said, mocking David
"Is there anything I can do to change your mind" David asked
"You will take this Assassin out of my chamber, then you will get me a golden dragon scale, the tooth of an Alpha Crab Shark, and finally, a troll heart, I have plans involving those" Yuvon said
"Right away" David said
"Good, now get out and don't come back without those things, and remember, I spared you, if you return empty handed then I will be forced to kill you" Yuvon said before turning around and heading into the bone pile
