Chapter Seven
Music is credited to 21WillowWarner for giving me the idea to put this song in my story :)
I walked nervously to my first class. Dawn had just come, giving us an early start to our education. I walked into room Three Forty-Seven and sat down. Scales of dragons covered desks and counters and posters of certain element compounds decorated the stone walls.
A boy with black hair and green eyes sat next to me. He looked much like Kendra. Even his height was the same as hers. Kendra sat behind me and and Carson sat next to her.
The bell rang and in walked out teacher. He wore a green shirt and ripped jeans, something that I didn't expect until he lead us outside. That's when I saw him punch a dragon in the nose, and that's when I saw what we were doing. Dragon taming.
I covered my mouth as I saw the dragons emerge from over the hill. "Listen up, class! If any of you remember that vision that you once had", he stopped and cleared his throat. "Then you'll know what to do.", he said. "Every dragon has San element. If you're dragon breathed fite, then you're fire. If you're dragon breathed lightning, then you're electricity and so on and so forth. This was all in your vision. Go with your gut feeling! Scatter!"
We all jumped from the benches and to what element we felt we were. Carson ran to Earth, Kendra ran to knowledge, and the boy next to me ran to plants. I was left to chose. Quickly, I sprinted to ice. Snow began to fall over us and the dragons. The students next to our element began to shiver but we simply sat down and waited for instruction.
People looked at us as if we were crazy but we simply shrugged it off.
Once everybody was at their station, the leader walked to the middle of the feild. He pulled out a wand and held it to his mouth. Waves came from the end of the wand and he spoke, only for it to be amplified by the wand. "So, did you fools choose right?", he asked.
We all shrugged and turned away. "We'll work on that!"
"I want you to mount your dragons!", yelled the instructor. I turned around and nearly gasped at the huge beast standing before my eyes. His stare was literally ice cold and his scales shimmered in the rising sun.
A real beauty.
