Raider decided to make a heroic sacrifice and take away the massive ki fueled time bomb(which was almost as sensitive as Cell when he tried to self-destruct) away from earth, the bomb was created with the liquid from the fruit nectar of the Tree of Might with a tiny bit of god ki added in the mix, which was created by Fu, a bomb of pure life energy, it was either defuse it or boom, Goku and Hōseki were busy so no Instant Transmission, but when Raider went off to space he suddenly remembered his mates, his friends and his family.....he couldn't die there, wouldn't, he soon tried to fight and conquer the energy, but he soon ended up absorbing it and he broke through his shell and evolved....

Fu: Well Uncle Dabura, That plan failed miserably.....
Towa:...Dammit....If the energy from the bomb wasn't so pure it could've worked!
