The first day of school, Izuku dressed in in his school uniform, but packed an outfit for after school was over into his bag. He wore a pair of black Convers with his uniform, having left his red sneakers at home. He did this more often now a days.
He made his way to school a little early, wanting to be the first one there so he could pick his desk first. As he entered the classroom, pleased to see he was in fact, the first one there. He took a seat in the very back row, next to the window so he could see outside. The next person to enter the room was a tall boy with glasses and blue hair.
"Hello, my name is Tenya Iida. You're the boy that took down the zero point robot at the exam, are you not?" Tenya didn't skip a beat. He held out his hand for Izuku to shake. Which he did emotionlessly. "You are very smart to have figured out the truth behind the exam. You will make a formidable opponent. I look forward to being in the same class as you." As Tenya spoke, Izuku studied him.
Tenya was about 5'11 to 6 feet tall. His hair was short and slicked to the side in a sophisticated way with not a single hair out of place. He was muscular, but not overly so, with deep red eyes, and he had exhaust pipes sticking out of his calves.
"I'll be honest with you Iida, I had no idea about the rescue points. I was just doing what a hero should do, protect those that can't protect themselves. My name is Izuku Midoriya for the record. It should be a pleasure sharing a class with you as well."
"What the hell are you doing here shitty nerd?!" Izuku could recognize that voice anywhere. He looked over at the door with a dull look in his eyes as he greeted his old friend/childhood bully.
"Hello, Kacchan." Izuku's voice was dull. He didn't show any emotions to the blonde boy that stood before him. He did however look him over. Said boy hadn't changed much. He was still very muscular for his size. Eyes bright red and full of anger. Hair still a spiky blonde mess. "I see you haven't changed any."
"What is that supposed to mean you fucking extra?! How did you even get in here?! I thought you dropped out of school!" The angry blonde yelled.
"For your information, I passed with top marks early, got a job, and began training in my free time. Now I'm confident that I can take on even you." Izuku smirked at the end, only making Katsuki even angrier.
"Like hell your quirkless ass is going to beat me! I'd blow your ass sky high before you could even touch me!"
Tanya's jaw dropped at hearing Izuku was quirkless. "Is that true, Midoriya? Are you quirkless?"
Izuku clenched his jaw. "Yes, it's true. I'm quirkless. Is there a problem with that?" He practically snarled the words at the blue haired boy.
"N-no! Of course not. I'm just amazed that someone so skilled doesn't have a quirk. You took down so many robots it was outstanding!"
The greennet smiled at the boy who was seemingly becoming his friend. He had never had anyone show even the slightest bit of faith in him before.
"Skilled? This pathetic weakling isn't skilled in anything other than mumbling and being fucking annoying! He will always be that way!" Izuku's smile fell at hearing Katsuki's words. At this point, most of the other students had entered the classroom and were now watching the boys at the back of the room.
"Listen here Bakugou, if you're so confident that I'm just a 'pathetic weakling' like the one you used to bully our entire childhood, then why don't you prove it." Izuku's voice held no emotion when he spoke but the cold edge to it didn't go unnoticed by everyone else in the room. The hairs standing on end at the base of their neck were proof enough of that.
Katsuki visibly paled at the use of his latest name but his expression stayed the same. "Then I will! Meet me at the training grounds during lunch. Then everyone will see just how weak you really are."
"I'll see you there then." And with that, Katsuki went to his seat across the room. That, in turn, disbursed the rest of the class to their seats as well. Tenya, however, stayed where he was.
"You can't fight him, Midoriya. You'll be expelled if you do."
"If that's what it takes to get Kacchan to shut up for once, so be it. It's not like this school is my only option. I've already proven I can get in." As Izuku said this, a man in a yellow sleeping bag, rolled into the room. He stood up, unzipped his yellow confinement, and revealed himself as a tall man with dark clothes, dark hair, and an face that looks like it hasn't self cared in weeks. He had unkempt scruff, dark eye circles, and obvious dry eye by how red his eyes were.
"Sit down, Iida." The man commanded. The tall boy doing so without hesitation. "My name is Shota Aizawa. We will be starting this class by you putting your gym uniforms on and going to the training grounds for a quirk assessment test."
There was an uproar in the class. "What about orientation?" Asked one of the other students.
"The rules of this school deem that I can run my class however I see fit. And I say orientation is a waist of time so we won't be going."
"Sir, what about me?" Izuku asked.
"Oh yes, due to your... situation, Midoriya, you won't be needing to take the quirk assessment. However, you will be doing an overall skill assessment. And judging by the practical exam, I'd say you have a few. So we will save that for after lunch. When we will have more time to focus solely on you." Izuku nodded at this. He and his classmates walked to the locker rooms to change and then regroup on the training grounds.
Aizawa was waiting for them when they arrived. He had Katsuki demonstrate one of the tests before he went on to say that the person who scored the lowest on the tests, would be expelled. This put the class in a frenzy. Everyone, except Izuku, completed the tests as best as they could. In the end, the name of a short boy with purple balls on his head was last on the list. Because of this, he was expelled immediately. Then it was time for lunch.
As they agreed, Izuku and Katsuki stayed behind for their fight. However, they were not expecting their classmates to stay behind and watch.
"Your'e in for it now, Deku!" Katsuki yelled.
Izuku walked over to a tree about 10 yards from where they were, grabbed a long Branch, and broke it into two smaller, more manageable sizes. Where they broke apart was sharp and jagged, worrying the other students. He lowered himself into a fighting position before giving a frightening smile to his opponent, making everyone's hairs stand on end. "I've been waiting a long time for this, Bakugou," he said. Then he lunged forward.
