Kennedy and Natalia were enjoying each other's company at the local diner that most of the kids hung out at. After eating their meal they decided to share an ice cream sundae.

"Here you go preciosa" he tells her scooping some ice cream on the spoon and feeding her.

Natalia thought it was sweet of him to do that so she opened her mouth and ate it. "Mmm..." she moaned enjoying the creamy concoction in her mouth.

Kennedy grinned as he watched the girl in front of him. In the past hour and a half that he's been with her he couldn't help it. She was interesting, funny, sarcastic, smart...and beautiful.

"Oh...you have a little bit of whipped cream on top of your lip." he tells her grabbing a napkin then reached over to wipe it off.

"Thanks..." she tells him blushing when he brushed his thumb over her lip. Noticing her turn a shade of red he smiled.

"Sorry." he tells her pulling his hand away.

"It's alright." she looked down embarrassed. She didn't know why she was embarrassed. Kennedy was a really nice guy besides being sweet, funny and good looking. He was also easy to talk too.

Clearing his throat he took a spoonful of the sundae. "So...what do you think of the Heart brothers?"

Looking up, Natalia furrowed her eyebrows. "What do you mean what do I think of them? I don't..." she shrugs grabbing the spoon and taking another spoon of it.

Sitting back on the seat he cocks his brow. "Why is that? I'm sure you noticed half the girls in the school drool and stop breathing when they pass by."

"Didn't notice." she tells him nonchalantly but the truth was that she did notice...and that was the problem.

"You didn't?" he asked curiously smirking at her comment. That was a good thing for him.

"Nope..." she said popping the p. "...and anyways, don't girls do the same when you walk by them?"

"I don't know...do they?" he asked amused.

Natalia felt it was a trick question. "You don't notice?"

Shaking his head no from side to side he watches her intently.

"Oh...well, they do."

"Oh really? Hmm...interesting." he tells her seriously.

"Why is that?" She asked curiously. He must notice all the attention his eyes bring to everyone around...his eyes are gorgeous.

"I guess it's because I was hoping that only one girl noticed me...the only girl I want to notice me." he tells her with a wink making Natalia turn as red as the cherries on their sundae.

"Thanks again Kennedy." Natalia tells him as they walk up to her front door. After the embarrassing insinuation that Kennedy told her she quickly changed the subject. It wasn't like he really said it was her he wanted to notice him...right?

"It was my pleasure preciosa. Would it be alright if we can do it again?" he turned to look at her grabbing her hand.

"Um, sure...if you'd like." she smiled timidly. She really couldn't believe that he wanted to go out again...one of the cutest guys in school.

"I wouldn't like Natalia...I would love it if I could take you out on a proper date...is Friday night alright?" he asked kissing her knuckles.

Natalia now was  turning a light shade of red again. Kennedy really knew how to do that to her.

"I...I'm sorry but I can't..." she tells him shaking her head no.

Kennedy was taken back by her response. "Oh...okay." disappointment in his voice.

"...but I can go Saturday if it's alright?"

Widening his eyes and smiling from ear to ear he brought her into a hug then pulled away. "You scared me. I thought you were turning me down." putting his arm around her shoulder he continued to walk her up to her door.

"I was...for Friday night. Juliet asked me to spend the night over her house with Grace and Ashley...so I'm free on Saturday."

"Sleep over?" he asked. "Just great..." he thought to himself. "...now Damien and Damon can try something on her if she was in their house."

"That was nice of Juliet to invite you over. Just make sure you are careful." he tells her nonchalantly.

Stopping in front of the door Natalia turned to look at him curiously. "Why do I need to be careful?"

"Oh...you know. Since Damien and Damon do live there...who knows what they might try to pull on you girls...or just you."

Natalia scrunched up her eyebrows in thought. "What can they do?"

"Don't worry sweetheart, they might not even be there...it's Friday night so they will most likely be over some random girl's houses for the night...that's just how they are...sorta like the pick of the week? Or beginning of the weekend? Who knows...the point is that they will be with some girl from school or some girl they had just met. That's what they usually do on the weekends...like Grayson." he says shrugging his shoulder.

"Oh...well...I guess I have nothing to worry about then." she fake smiles at him. "Guess Juliet is right...her brothers are complete man whores..." and she will never get involved with guys like that...ever!

The next morning Natalia was ready for school and in the kitchen finishing her breakfast with her mom. After Kennedy left, her mom had arrived thirty minutes later from work and told her about her day while Natalia shared how her first day went...except the part that she had walked in on their neighbor having sex in the girl's bathroom...and of course how her "date" with Kennedy had gone.

The doorbell rang when Raquel went to check who it was, being 7:05 in the morning. Opening the door she was met with two pair of brown eyes and two sets of pearly whites smiling at her.

"Good morning...may I help you boys?" Raquel asked the very gook looking guys who stood in her front porch.

"Good morning Ms. Cruz. I'm Damon Heart and this is my brother Damien. We are your next door neighbors. " Damon politely introduces sticking his hand out to shake hers.

"Oh, yes, you are Andrea's boys. She spoke so much about you this weekend. Nice to finally meet you. Come in." she cheerfully invites them in stepping aside.

"Thank you ma'am!" they say in unison.

"I'm Damien by the way." sticking out his hand towards Raquel who instead of shaking it, he proceeds to kiss her hand causing Damon to roll his eyes.

"Nice to finally meet you Ms. Cruz...now I know where Natalia gets her beautiful smile and kindness from." he smiles genuinely.

"Well well well...aren't you the charmer?!" she giggles at him.

"Yes...isn't he?!" Damon grits then clears his throat. "We do apologize for not meeting you on Sunday when our mother invited you over for dinner. We had to meet our other friend to finish a project...our grades are very important especially since it's our Senior year...we are hoping to get into our first University choice."

"Yes of course, that is wonderful that you both make education a priority. Getting into a good College is very important...that's what I tell Natalia."

"Tell Natalia what?" all three turn to glance over Natalia who had walked into the foyer.

"How getting good grades in school will get you into a good College." her mom tells her with a smile.

"Of course mami, you know education is very important to me." she smiles back at her mother then glances back at the twins. "What are you guys doing here?"

"Good morning Natalia!" they greet her in unison. 

"Natalia...you forgot to greet Damien and Damon...where are your manners?" Raquel scolds her daughter making Natalia sigh.

"Good morning guys...may I ask why the both of you are here in my house so early in the morning?!" batting her eyes at them.

The twins look over at each other and smirk. "Well, we are here to see if you need a ride to school." Damon tells her.

"We figured since we live next door, we could take you to school in the mornings and bring you back after school...of course, if it's alright with you Ms. Cruz." glancing over to Raquel with huge grins.

"Wow, you boys are so sweet and thoughtful!" she places her hand over her heart smiling. "Aren't they Natalia?"

Natalia widens her eyes at her mother. "Yeah...sweet and thoughtful until they try to talk you out of your clothes so they can screw you then leave you like the other girls they use!" she so wanted to tell her mom...

"Yeah...they are something mami." she responds then looks over to the twins again.

"It was really nice for you guys to come over and so politely ask...but I won't be needing a ride with you guys." she tells them.

The twins cock their eyebrows "Why not?" they ask again in unison when the doorbell rings again.

"Excuse me..." walking past them she reaches the door and opens it with a smile.

Turning around she smiles at them "...because...Kennedy offered to pick me up and bring me home for the rest of the week."

"Hey guys!" Kennedy smirks at the now pissed off twins who are glaring at him. 

"Good Morning...you must be Ms. Cruz! It's so nice to meet you, Natalia spoke so fondly of you...I'm Kennedy Arnett...your daughter's date yesterday and this coming Saturday...that is of course if you let me." smiling he passes around the twins and towards Raquel who smiles back at Kennedy shaking her hand.

"Oh my Natalia...you did not tell me what gorgeous eyes he has...and how polite he is! Of course you can take her out on a date on Saturday!" smiling back at Kennedy who turns around and winks at the twins...who stand there trying to control the fact that they want to kill their best friend.

Hello my readers, hope you are all doing well. I just celebrated my Birthday this Past Thursday on St. Patrick's Day and my weekend was busy so I didn't get a chance to update.

What do you guys think of Kennedy trying to slyly bash the twins to Natalia? Is this his way to win her over so they won't get a chance...or will it matter?

How about the twins showing up the next morning and kissed her mom's ass a bit to win her over...will that work?

Sorry if it isn't too exciting. These boys will begin their battle for Natalia's affection...oh boy!
