PIECE OF CAKE

"What's wrong with you?" Hyun asked Yeol who walked in with a frown on his face.

"Other than the fact that Chan woke up on the wrong side of the bed," Yeol said annoyed.

"It's usually him complaining about you. What could have Chan possibly done to make you say that?" Sehun asked and the others agreed.

"Well, I don't know. Maybe it's the fact that first of all he woke me up with a bucket of cold water, or maybe it's because he yelled at me for chewing my toast too loud, or maybe it's the fact that I literally had to run after the car because he was leaving me without a word or maybe it was because he was driving over 60. I love speed but Chan never drives over 60. I was literally scared for my life," Yeol explained.

"Whoa... man. What did you do?" Luhan asked.

"Why do you assume it's my fault?" Yeol asked shocked.

"You annoy him on purpose every single day," Kai said.

"And send him stupid texts all the time," Kyungsoo added.

"Okay, I admit I may go overboard sometimes but I haven't done anything recently unless I annoy him in my sleep," Yeol said with a frown but Hyun held his hand in comfort.

"Don't worry baby. Just let him cool off and get him something he likes to brighten up his day and forget why he is mad in the first place," advised Hyun and Yeol couldn't help but smile at his boyfriend.

"You always know how to male me feel better," Yeol said before kissing Hyun.

"It's my job," Hyun said before initiating a deeper kiss.

"And.. this is when we leave before the principal finds you two and signs you up for detention for PDA. I'm not going to be caught in the crossfire," Kyungsoo said and the others agreed and left for class.

In the last week, the couple had gotten 3 detentions because of their making out and Kai got one detention for 'watching' as their principal had said.

Chan felt a bit better knowing he was about to see Baek in the library but he was disappointed when he found Kris was sitting next to the smaller.

At first, it looked like Kris was talking to himself since Baek wasn't responding but Chan didn't miss the visible blush that covered his face as he kept his eyes focused on his text book.

Chan was tired of what he was seeing and decided to approach the pair when suddenly Baek grabbed Kris's ear twisting it.

"Ouch ouchhh...okay I will leave...I'm sorry I won't ruin your study time, just let go.."

"Shhhhhh...." The librarian complained about the noise, forcing Baek to let go and Kris stood up creating a distance between them.

"This doesn't mean I'm giving up, Baek," Kris said earning himself a scolding from the librarian before he was kicked out.

Chan settled next to Baek who smiled at him in return.

Chan loved seeing Baek smile. It made him feel strange but he liked it.

"Where have you been? I thought my brain was going to explode because that idiot wouldn't stop going on about his nonsense,"  Baek said as he held his head.

"I'm sorry. It was a late morning," Chan said with a smile.

"It's alright. I'm just glad you are here now. I prefer your company compared to the others," Baek said and soon they were back into their study cycle and sat smiling next to each other.

At lunch time, the whole crew was chilling by the usual table when a junior came with a single red rose and a box of chocolates but everyone was shocked the gift was for Baek.

Hyun grabbed the card at the top in a flash and read it out loud.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I'm not poetic
But I'm willing
to try it out for you

The whole table get shock and looked at  Baek.

"Kris as in the douchebag who tapped my ass, as in the idiot you beat up??" Hyun asked in shocked.

Baek took an annoyed deep breath before nodding his head.

"OMG. When did this happen? Why didn't you tell me?!" Hyun asked looking offended.

"It's nothing serious. He confessed yesterday and there was no need to tell you because it isn't relevant," Baek said in response as he kept his eyes on the gift.

He was a bit shocked Kris had sent him a gift.

He never expected the bully to be this persistent and dare he say it...romantic.

In the morning, he had sat next to him in the library, quiet at first. But after a while he started talking and complementing Baek.

He then talked about going on a romantic date when Baek ended up pulling on his ear complaining that he was interrupting his study time.

Honestly, Baek did it more to hide his blush than chase the male.

"It doesn't matter. We tell each other everything. OMG! I would have never guessed. Baek has an admirer," Hyun said with a laugh in the end.

"True. This is very unexpected," Yeol said but his focus was on Chan who seemed to be glaring at the box of chocolate and something seemed to click.

Chan did start acting weird from last night.

"So, do you like him?" Luhan asked with a smile.

"Hell no. He is not my type," Baek said as if the thought was absurd.

"Really? So what's your type?" Kyungsoo asked and they all didn't miss how Baek slightly glanced in Chan's direction before he cleared his throat.

"That's none of your business. If you'll excuse me I will be returning this to that idiot. So much sugar is bad for my health," Baek said as he stood and left.

Chan left shortly without giving an excuse but they all saw he was pissed.

"Well, that was interesting,"  Sehun said breaking the silence.

"I didn't know Kris had it in him," Kai said.

"Who cares about Kris. Didn't you see the way Baek gave Chan fuxk me eyes. He is totally into him," Hyun said with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Now, I know why Chan was mad. It was only a matter of time for those two to fall," Yeol said.

"So, let's give them a hand and totally hook them up. They are begging for our help," Hyun said.

"I don't think that's a good idea. Let's just let it happen,"  Kyungsoo said.

"Don't worry. It's going to be a piece of cake," Hyun said and his boyfriend was totally up for it.

.....

Baek had finally found Kris but after school.

Chan have already left with an excuse that he needed to pick up something in town leaving Baek alone.

Yeol was at basketball practice while Hyun went to watch as usual and keep 'vultures' away from his man, as he said.

"Please take this back and don't ever send me a gift again," Baek said.

"I'm just showing you how I feel about you. Is it that you don't like chocolates? I can get you something you like. Just tell me," Kris said.

"You don't know anything about me and..."

"I want to know more about you. Just go out with me once. Give me a chance and judge me after that," Kris said.

"I don't know...actually no i..." but before Baek could say another word he felt lips on his own.

Kris kissed Baek. Will Baek kiss back?
