Archie and Sarah followed the man from a safe distance. It seemed like it had been hours until the man came to a clearing. He turned left and walked back into the woods. The man stopped and Archie and Sarah hid in the tall grass. There sitting in the dirt was a small boy in ripped clothing. His shirt matched the fabric found in the shack. They had found the boy.

The man bent down and looked at the tied up boy and laughed. A bug crawled over Archie's foot, this scared him. He jumped and the man started to walk over to the hiding spot. Archie thought it was the end, but Sarah saved them both. She jumped out, the man looked happy to see her and said in a deep voice," Oh, you good you came after me. Did you scare that dog away?" Sarah didn't answer of course, she was a dog.

The man patted Sarah on the head took another look at the boy and walked away. Sarah followed but looked back at Archie and let out a soft whimper. Archie knew it meant," Save the boy! I'll keep my owner away." Once they were back on the path Archie came out of hiding and dashed for the boy. This scared the small child but Archie got him to calm down. He started chewing the ropes. When he got the last one off he gave the boy the " it's okay to run" sign.

The boy hugged Archie and took off running. Archie was about to do the same when the unexpected happened. The man came back, behind him was Sarah with a sad look on her face. The man didn't see the boy, but he saw Archie. The terrified dog stood still unable to move.
