"What a surprise?" one of the men mocked, a sneer twisting his lips. "The half-dead doctor has got some help."

"Shut up, Jihoon! She was expected here," another man rolled his eyes at his companion.

"Oh, yes! We're not letting her leave here alive," Jihoon chuckled, a sinister glint in his eyes.

Sri eyed the enemies like a hungry tigress, her heart pounding with a mix of fury and adrenaline. No way she would let the ones who had tried to harm her husband escape alive. She carefully placed Taehyung back on the ground, making sure he was out of harm's way before standing tall, her gaze never leaving her adversaries. "Jin, I'll make an opening for you. Take Tae to the car and wait for me. I'll be there in..." She counted the number of men, her expression steely. "...eight minutes." Jin pressed his lips together, his eyes filled with determination as he nodded in understanding.

The eight men chuckled at her words, some even finding her confidence amusing. "What are you blabbering about, woman?! It's impossible, even for the mighty S, to defeat each of us in one minute," one of them sneered.

Sri turned her dark gaze back to the group, a smirk curling her lips. "Who said I would kill each one of you in a minute?" She slipped her hands into her pants pocket, her fingers brushing against the cold steel of her weapons. "However, I'll start with you!" With a swift motion, she threw a dagger that struck the man squarely between his eyes. The expression of shock froze on his face as he fell backward, lifeless.

Before the others could react, she hurled two ninja blades, each hitting their marks—one piercing the heart of a man to her left, the other claiming the life of a man to her right. The sound of their bodies hitting the ground was sickening, a dull thud accompanied by a spray of blood that stained the grass.

"That's three of you in ten seconds," she taunted, a wicked smirk spreading across her face—the infamous smirk of S. She caught a glimpse of Seokjin, carrying Taehyung away from the chaos, using her swift attack to his advantage.

The remaining five men screamed in fury, their anger fueling their charge toward her. Sri bent low, dodging five blades that whistled past her head. With a swift sweep of her legs, she knocked the men surrounding her to the ground, their bodies colliding painfully with the earth.

Standing tall above them, she relished the power she exuded. "Remember your place next time. You're standing in front of the Queen of Mafias. I once ruled the underworld. Even your boss was probably one of my unnoticed minions back then." She clicked her tongue in pity, her voice dripping with disdain.

"Fuck you!" Jihoon spat, rising to his feet. His face was contorted with rage as he drew a knife, lunging at her with reckless abandon. Sri defended herself expertly, her instincts honed from years in the underworld. But she didn't notice another enemy rising behind her until it was too late.

A sharp pain exploded in her right shoulder as the man plunged his knife deep into her flesh. She cried out, the sound raw and anguished, as hot blood poured from the wound, soaking her shirt and spilling onto the ground. The metallic scent of her blood mingled with the air, sending a thrill of adrenaline through her veins.

Jihoon smiled at the man in appreciation, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "Finally got you!" he crowed, relishing her moment of weakness.

Sri stumbled slightly but quickly regained her composure, gritting her teeth against the pain. With a fierce glare, she turned to face her attackers, her determination burning brighter than the agony coursing through her. "You'll pay for that," she hissed.

However, the injury didn't slow her down. With a swift elbow strike, she caught her attacker off guard and spun around to face him. Before he could react, she drove a knife into his gut five times, each thrust precise and merciless. Turning her focus back to Jihoon, she sneered, "I would have let you live... but you dared to attack my Taehyung. I'll make you scream until your throat bleeds."

With each menacing word, she took slow, deliberate steps toward him. "I'll make you cry until your eyes burn." She lunged at one of the enemies attempting to interrupt her, stabbing him in the chest with a swift motion. "I'll beat you up until your bones break into hundreds of pieces." Her voice dropped an octave with every threat, the weight of her words pressing down on Jihoon like a heavy shroud.

Jihoon stepped back in terror, his bravado evaporating like mist in the morning sun. He realized, with chilling clarity, that this was his last day. What had possessed him to challenge S? As the remaining two men charged at her in a desperate attempt to help, Jihoon seized the opportunity to flee. But barely fifteen steps into his escape, a powerful kick sent him sprawling face-first into the dirt.

"I'll burn you in the fires of hell. Alive!" S screamed, her voice a guttural roar as she pounced on him. She pressed her thumbs into his eyes with a force that made him howl. His agonized screams pierced the stillness of the forest, but she remained unfazed, a sadistic smile creeping onto her lips. Blood sprayed across her face as she successfully plucked his eyeballs from their sockets, the wet squelch sending a shiver of exhilaration through her.

"STOP IT! PLEASE, I BEG YOU! I'LL TAKE YOU TO YOUR DAUGHTER. I'LL TAKE YOU TO MY BOSS. P-PLEASE HAVE MERCY!" Jihoon cried, his voice raw and desperate, the terror palpable in every word.

"I don't need your help. I've found a way— the only way I was deliberately ignoring." She laughed darkly before plunging the knife into his heart, the blade sinking in with a sickening crunch. "Men like you don't deserve my kindness. A villain is only tamed by a mightier villain." She spat on his dying form, the act as much for her satisfaction as for his punishment, before turning on her heel and striding toward Seokjin's car. Jihoon was destined for a slow, agonizing death.

The chaotic forest fell eerily silent, a heavy stillness enveloping the scene. Not a single insect dared to make a sound. The trees cast creepy, elongated shadows across the blood-soaked ground, where lifeless bodies lay strewn about. The timid moon hid behind thick clouds, retreating from the horrors of S's brutal execution.

Sri glanced at Jungkook's bracelet, now stained crimson in her palm, before balling her hand into a tight fist. "I am sorry, Tae. I've figured out what to do next," she murmured, determination filling her voice just as a sudden gunshot rang out, echoing through the forest. Instinctively, she crouched low as the bullet whizzed past, embedding itself into the tree trunk beside her with a sharp crack.

Without hesitation, she sprang back to her feet and sprinted toward her ride. Bullets continued to rain down around her, each whizzing by like a hornet, but she was fortunate enough to evade injury. Her blood-soaked shoulder throbbed painfully, numbing her entire arm, yet she pressed on, fueled by the need to survive and protect her loved ones.

Sliding into the driver's seat, she turned the key in the ignition, the engine roaring to life. "Jin, I need you in the passenger's seat!" she shouted, adrenaline coursing through her veins. The moment Jin settled beside her, she floored the gas pedal, peeling out of the makeshift parking space. Taehyung lay in the back seat, unconscious but safe from immediate danger.

Sri slammed the third gear into place and accelerated the car, the vehicle almost flying down the deserted road. It was probably around 10 PM, but the enemies were equally relentless. Each time a bullet struck the car, a metallic 'ting' echoed through the air, a reminder of the danger closing in on them. Through the rearview mirror, she could see the dark silhouettes of Eclipse's jeeps gaining on them. With determination, she shifted into fourth gear, pushing the car to incredible speeds.

Suddenly, a sharp crack of breaking glass resonated through the cabin. Both Sri and Jin turned their heads faster than lightning to check on the unconscious man in the backseat. Relief washed over her as she confirmed that Taehyung remained unharmed. "I need to do something!" she exclaimed, adrenaline surging through her.

Glancing to her right and left, she saw two enemy vehicles paralleling them, ready to unleash a hail of bullets at any moment. "Jin! Take the wheel for a moment!" she commanded. In one swift motion, she opened the hood of the car, and with a sudden jolt of the brakes, Jin almost hit his head against the steering wheel from inertia. Sri retrieved two loaded guns from beneath the seat, standing on it to gain a better vantage point.

Jin instinctively gripped the steering wheel, extending his left leg to press down on the accelerator. Where he found the courage, he didn't know, but seeing Sri fight to protect them ignited a fierce determination within him. He felt a pang of sympathy for her wounded shoulder but knew there was no time for treatment. The Eclipse gangsters were right on their tail.

As the Eclipse jeeps surged forward, momentarily caught off guard by her abrupt halt, Sri aimed her gun at the tires of the closest vehicle and fired. The shot rang true, causing the car to veer off course and topple into the dense forest beside the road. Gunfire erupted from the other vehicle, a thug aiming directly at her chest, but Jin swerved left just in time, and the bullet whizzed past her.

Without hesitation, Sri retaliated, landing a headshot on the assailant. She unleashed a torrent of bullets on the remaining moving car, each round creating innumerable dents, shattering windows, and destabilizing their pursuit. The tables had turned; now Sri was the hunter, chasing down the Eclipse gangsters instead of the other way around. Soon, the last vehicle disappeared from sight, and she sat back down in her seat, closing the hood with a triumphant grin.

"That was incredible! For a moment, I thought they were going to shoot you!" Jin gasped, still reeling from the adrenaline rush.

"Well, you did a great job controlling the car. I owe you one for that," she replied, but a curse escaped her lips as she accidentally moved her injured shoulder.

"Let me treat you," Jin offered, concern etched on his face as he noticed her wince in pain.

"Not important. Let's get Tae to the hospital first." Her eyes remained fixed on the approaching city lights, the hope of safety just ahead.

Seokjin watched her, marveling at how she risked her life to save them. Her love for Taehyung was undeniable and genuine. After this day, he would feel anything but hatred toward her.

"Thank you... Sri," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the roar of the engine. But she remained silent, lost in her thoughts as the city loomed closer.
