Aliens do exist. There may not be solid evidence, but it's true. As far as we know, the Universe is infinite; there is bound to be another planet somewhere that is a host to some form of life. Now, I'm not talking about little green men with giant oval-shaped eyes and freakishly long arms. In fact, I'm not exactly talking about intelligent humanoids at all. It doesn't have to be intelligent life to be alien, it just has to have developed on and be surviving on another planet.

There has to be life on another planet. Even if it's just some tiny ant-like creatures, plant life or some form of bacteria - which, by the way, may exist closer than you'd expect. In our very solar system, actually. Europa - one of Jupiter's moons - seems to be very similar to snowball Earth. (Snowball Earth refers to one of the very early stages of Earth's life, when it was mostly covered in ice with oceans underneath the ice that inhabited bacteria). Europa has these conditions, and scientists believe that single-celled bacteria may very well be surviving in its extremely deep oceans right now, which would be alien life. However, we've not managed to check yet. We should know more about Europa's oceans by 2022, though, so we'll have more solid evidence then as to whether or not there is bacteria there. But it is extremely likely.

Of course, further away from home there could be more intelligent life forms that may be similar to humans or another species that survives on Earth. For all we know, there may be a planet exactly like Earth but in an earlier stage or an even later, more advanced stage to us.

Although I believe that there may be similar or more advanced life to us, I don't necessarily believe they've ever made contact with us. I believe that if we haven't managed to find alien life yet, why should they have found us/our planet? Personally, I don't believe abduction stories or UFO/alien sightings to be true. Some could be true, but for the most part I think that contact with alien life has never really been made.

To conclude, there is alien life, and it's arrogant to think that our planet is the only planet that could be a host to life. The Universe is huge, so there has to be at least one other planet with life on it pondering the very same thoughts right now. Our planet's conditions may be very unique, but with the amount of planets; stars; moons and the size of the Universe, there will be more Earths out there, or planets with the right conditions to be able to inhabit life. Alien life.
