Jimin and Taehyung were both roomates, partners in crime, living in an apartment in Seoul, South Korea until one day when Jimin finally made an announcement to his best
friend.

It was only 10:09am when Jimin had woken up to some shouting of a familiar voice. He knew that deep, husky, voice of the man yelling which isn't going to stop. It was his friend, Taehyung playing his new video game that he bragged about to Jimin and sometimes offered him to join.

Annoyed with the noise, he rubbed his face before he could get off his white, fluffy, aesthetically pleasing bed.

Jimin walked out of his room and Taehyung greeted him a good morning with his eyes glued to his game. Jimin smiled tiredly and waved as walked to his fridge to get his breakfast, some oatmeal atleast.

Taehyung pause his game when Jimin sat down on the soft mocha brown couch with him.

"Hey, hyung." Taehyung lips curved into a smile. The only noise Jimin can reply to was just a "Mmmh." which he meant, "Hey."

"I want to say something to you. May I?" Jimin asked.

"Pfft! sure! You're my best friend obviously you can tell me anything" Taehyung chuckled.

After Jimin was finished, his put his bowl of oatmeal on the table aside and clear his throat, "I'm going to Hawaii for 9 days. I could have said this before but I-"

"What?! Without me?" Taehyung screeched and stood up. Jimin knew Taehyung was also very protective towards him. "When are you going?" he demanded.

"Tomorrow, early morning," Jimin replied. "I promise I'll buy you something so just please..."

"Jimin... you realize you're going to America, right?"

"Yeah so? I just want to be away-"

"What for, Jimin? What for? Hmm?" Taehyung tightened his fists but suddenly lost grip and sat back down to calm.

"I want to be away from this urban life here. And also, your screaming." Jimin muttered.

"I'll be quiet next time then! Jeez!"

"You say that alot and you're still loud as hell that it hurts my ears!" Jimin screamed.

Both boys looked away, avoiding eye contact, had a sudden silence after until Taehyung spoke up, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't had yelled at you. Even if I overreacted a little too much."

"No, it was me. I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you especially if that means leaving you behind."

"Jimin, I just hope it's not hard out for you there and... I just don't want you get in trouble, or interfere with anyone, alright?" Taehyung looked at his friend, sadden.

"I won't, I promise. I wish could have told you, but seems like you have an unbreakable bond with your TV." Jimin looked up at Taehyung

"I mean, you should've told me if I wanted to go, I would've said yes. I'm going to miss you."

"So am I." Jimin hugged Taehyung as Taehyung hugged back.

"Stay healthy for me." Taehyung muttered.

"You know I will. Goodbye, Tae."

"Bye, best friend. I love you."
