Normal POV

Eren saw it all.

He kept a straight face but deep inside he is boiling with anger.

"Eren I'm going to let the police handle this. I want you to go to the foot of the mountain and wait for me there." Out of all The things he said the only thing in his mind is retrieving Mikasa and killing those worthless animals."Eren!!! Are you listening to me!?!" I have to retrieve Mikasa." Eren! Repeat what I said word for word!" I have to kill those animals."EREN!!" Grisha shouted snapping him out of his trances.

"Eren you have to understand the situation here! Stay at the foot of the mountain. GOT IT!!" Grisha said with his unusual tone. "Yes" was all Eren's reply. His mind is too filled with anher and determination."Good. Now go now!" Grisha said searching for help until he was out of sight.

Eren knew what to do from then on.He headed further from the mountain not knowing danger was right around the corner. Ready to punce at him at any time. 30 minutes of walking was nothing against Eren. His determination is what makes him a great friend.

Mikasa's POV

I woke up on a old looking house with a metallic taste in my mouth. I was laying in cold floor with my face on the floor. I was about to question what happened and remembered everything as tears rolled down the floor preventing from making a noise. I was still nauseous from the impact in my cheek so I coudn't think very well.

The three guys who killed my parents entered the room and smiled mischievously and walked closer.

"Check her face and see how much she's worth" said the fat one with a husky voice that sent shivers down my spine. The tall one turned me over harshly using his feet and leaves a throbbing pain in my hip. "She's cute and all but she's just a kid. No one would buy someone as young as her, not even I won't." Said the tall man as he crossed his arms.

"Luckily were not selling Her to you. You say she's just a kid but it makes no difference. She's a woman! And it will be a good bargain for us" the one who I was assuming killed my dad stated. "She's exotic and you know that or she may be called an oriental. Last of her kind making her so special and should be treated like treasure."

"This kid is a half blood isn't it. Her father wasn't an Ackerman"the tall man stated. "Yeah it would've been nice to have the mother as well. But you killed her on the spot!" Argued the other man. "Hey she was putting up a fight! If I didn't act things would've gotten ugly." They continued arguing as they exited the room.

I was to limp to do anything. I can't move, and I can't blink properly. The three men exited the room still arguing.

"I'm cold" I whispered to myself really faintly.

Please help.

Normal POV

Eren saw a faint light in the distance somewhere assuming that's where they got Mikasa. Eren ran as cautious as possible preventing any ways to be seen. He walked up the door the door with a plan to get Mikasa and it was pretty reckless.

He knocked on the door and opened it and saw two men. One of them was furious that he was there.

"WAIT WHAT A KID!! Stay where you are!" The man yelled aggresively "How did you find this place do you have anyone with you!!?" The man looked angrily at Eren.

"Oh I'm sorry. It's just that I-I got lost in the woods..... and I saw a dim light and......." Eren said stuttering. Looks like drama club wasn't so worthless after all. Eren thought. "What you think I'm gonna-" The man thouhht about it for a second. This kid. It can be additional to our catch and earn more money. The man thought to himself. "I mean, of course you can kid. There are wild animals outside and you can be terrib-" The man stopped babbling when a knife went through his stomach.

"Sorry mister, but I'm not stupid" Eren said unemotionally as he removed his hand from his head."Now die you bitch!" Eren removed the knife from his stomach leaving his dead body.

Another man ran into the room seeing a kid and a dead body. "WHAT HAPPENED!!" The man said in a panicked tone. Eren closed the door leading to the shed giving him a come-here-I-fucking-dare-you face.

Eren charged out of the shed holding a large spear aiming at the man's chest. "DIE, DIE ALL OF YOU DIE!!!!" Eren shouted letting all his out. Once he was finished he saw another room with an open door where Mikasa was tied up. She had widened like she just saw a ghost.She must've seen that.Eren thought to himself as he walked closer to Mikasa.

"Hi Mikasa, you do remember me right?"Eren said hoping to calm her down. "Yes" Mikasa replied with a soft voice. "Three of them..." Eren looked at her confused. "What do you mean?"
"There were three of them what did you do to the other one?" She stated as Eren's eyes widened. The door opened behind them seeing a tall man. His eyes widened seeing they're devious plan falling apart.

"WHAT HAPPENED. YOU! YOU DID THIS!!!" He said scaring both of them as Eren reached for the knife but was stopped witha kick in the gut. Eren groaned in pain when the man held him by his hair and starts strangling him with all his strength.

"M..IIKK...AA..S...AAA" Eren said as he was getting choked by the man. "HHEEEEE.....EEELLLPP" Mikasa grabbed the knife and aimed it at him. She shivered while holding the knife too scared of the consequences that may occur if she fails to kill the man.

"You have to fight. It's the only way to win.If you win you'll live, if you lose you die, you can't win if you don't fight!!!" Eren screamed at the top of his lungs as he was getting limp.

"Fight Mikasa. You have to FIGHT!"

That was the time I stopped shaking. I was in total control. I was no longer confused.  I know what to do. No emotion can stop me from achieving my goal. Sadness, nor fear can stop me.

I've seen this all before. Many, many times. But I always ignored it and looked the other way. I undertand now. The world is a cruel place. Everyone dies for a reason. We kill animals for food and resources. We kill insects to stop them from feeding our garden. I'll kill this man to free my friend and wash away all his bad intentions.

Eren's words echo through my head.

Fight!

Fight!!

I HAVE TO FIGHT!!!

I felt power run through my veins as I positioned to strike him. Fight. I made a dent at the floor and damaged the knife handle as I scream aggressively and charged at his back. Succesfully stabbing him to death Eren and I left the house as police cars were sorrounded all over the place. Eren's dad ran at Eren. "Eren what did you do!?!? I told you to stay at the foot of the mountain!!" Screamed Grisha.

"I'm sorry"

"Sorry!? You survived only by pure luck. You could have gotten killed, but instead you killed three men!!"

"I didn't regret what I did!" Eren said defensively. "They were monsters dressed up as humans!!"

"That's not my point Eren! You're still a child you shouldn't be already gambling your life!"Grisha said

"But how am I suppose to protect her?" Eren said. Grisha only sighed and went to Mikasa.

"Mikasa are feeling well?" Grisha said concerned. "I....don't know...." Mikasa said unemotionally. "I don't really feel anything. Could you just tell me how to get home. I have nowhere to go. I'm really cold and tired."

Grisha looked at her with pity as Eren walked to her removing his scarf. Eren wrapped the scarf around Mikasa's whole head. "Does that feel better" Eren asked. "Yes thank you" Mikasa said absorbing the warmth of the scarf.

"Mikasa why don't you come with us.  I have no idea what you've been through but I know you need you're share of rest."Grisha said empathetically to Mikasa.

Mikasa doesn't know what to do. She doesn't want them to be involved. Her thoughts were interrupted by Eren holding her by the sleeve of her dress.

"Let's go home. Our home" Eren....

Tears were rolling down her eyes as she hid half of her face in the scarf.

"Yes"

Eren, you saved me when I thought it was the end,  you taught me how to control my emotions, you taught me to fight.

Eren...........

"Thank you"
