You watch as Adrien gets wheeled away to the operation room, doctors surrounding him like vultures. You don't register you knees hitting the floor, not registering the pain as you fell to your knees. You don't register the tears falling down your cheeks as you stared down at your hands that was covered with blood. His blood. Adriens blood. You ignore your civilian clothes being stuck to your body, ignore the doctors that try to help you up, ignore your friends that had come to the hospital.

You whimper softly, your hands shaking. You wipe away the continuous waterfall of tears, the blood smearing on your cheeks. Your head throbbed loudly and your heart thumped in your chest, breaking. You burst out in tears, all your emotions pouring out from being bottled for too long. All the tears you tried to hold in for years escaping, all your sadness pouring out with them. You tried to muffle your tears with your shaky hands, your heart beating fast. You haven't cried this much ever since your mothers death.

You scream out in anguish, your sobs getting louder as you gripped your bloodied arms to your chest. You bend over, screaming in anguish as the tears poured out. You as you gripped your hair in anger, your head leaning on the floor. You shouted out once more, sobbing loudly to a point it sounded like you were screaming.

Your friends froze down seeing how broken you were. Their eyes were filled with sympathy, knowing that Adrien had felt the very same for you and now you were breaking down for Adrien. They realised just how much you and Adrien loved each other. You both would break every part of your body just for the other one to get better. Marinette hugged you, whispering that everything will be alright but you knew better. Even if Adrien did get better, you knew that it would get worse from here. You know that it will start happening to all your other friends. You knew that you made them targets.

Adrien had yet to wake up. You watched as your friends surround his bed through the glass window outside his room. Days had gone by. You visited everyday and stayed until your were forced to. You realised how Adrien must have done the same for you and you can't help but cry. It was useless crying. You knew that. But what could you do seeing him still asleep and not awake, day after day.

Your friends had left and you walked in, closing the door and the blinds. You sat in the chair next to Adrien and held his hand. You entwined your fingers with his, kissing his hand. You bowed your head, tears falling again. And to think, you thought there would be no more tears left.

"(y/n)?" You looked up to see Adrien awake, his eyes peering down at you softly. Hi frees his hand from yours, cupping your cheek and wiping away your tears. You covered your mouth with your hands, shocked.

"Adrien." You stood up and cried, hugging Adrien for dear life. You sobbed into his chest as he rubbed your back. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm-"

"Shhh. Its ok. I'm ok. Don't cry please." Adrein lifts your head and wipes your tears away, his eyes glossing over to see how much you've cried. He kisses your forehead, caressing your cheeks. "I'm here. I won't leave."

"You can't anyway." You smile softly as Adrien chuckles, sitting up in the hospital bed.

"There she is. My (y/n)."

"I'm so sorry for hurting you Adrien. I'm so sorry for leaving you. I'm so sorry for putting you through so much pain those long 5 months."

"(y/n)-"

"You waited for 5 months. I waited for a few days and i couldn't take it."

"(y/n)-"

"You went through so much for me. For 5 whole months. I-Mmmph." Adrien crashed his lips against yours and your eyes widen. He holds you to his chest, wrapping an arm around your waist as you close your eyes. He tilts his head and deepens the kiss, parting his lips before pulling away.

"Now you're quiet." Adrien smirks and you snap your eyes open. You cheeks redden and you turn away to look at the floor. Adrien puts a hand under your chin and turns you to face him before pecking your lips once more. "If i had to, i would wait for much more longer until you woke up."

"But-"

"And you did the same. Even if it was a few days. I know you would've waited for a long time until i woke up. Just how i did for you." You nod and Adrien hugs you. "At least you won't leave me." You stare down at your bracelet and hug Adrien back, burrowing your head in his neck. 

I'm sorry Adrien.

The wind flowed through your hair as you croutched on the roof, the full moon illuminated the dull and black sky which was devoid of stars. Your eyes scanned the pitch black room, your ears twitching for any movement that might be heard. You stood up after scanning the area one last time and turn around to Ladybug.

"Are you sure you want to do this? You are not alone in this."

"I can't risk you too. Not him, not you and not our friends."

"You won't-"

"He wants me. And he will hurt everyone else until he gets me. And i can't risk him getting my miraculous, despite it not being as powerful as yours or Chats."

"(y/n)-"

"I'm sorry Marinette. I've had enough of being a burden to everyone." You grasp your necklace.

"Adrien will be devastated. Everyone will. Me too."

"I know. But its the best this way. I never belonged here anyway."

"(y/n) please-"

"Goodbye Marinette. And thank you. For everything." You wink at Ladybug, smiling sadly before you take out your whip and latch it on a near by chimney. "Please look after Adrien for me." You jump and swing away.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" You clutch the bracelet in your hands tightly before passing it to the original guardian. Master Fu looks at you sadly as you don't respond to him and walk away out of his store.

"Nadia Chamack live in Paris. It has been weeks since the search. Police and investigators have searched Paris for any clues but have not found any. Until today. A citizen has reported that they saw something drifting in this ocean late last night at around 3 in the morning. As they went to investigate, they had found this hoodie. Investigators have been searching for a body to which this hoodie has belonged to. They found a body late this afternoon. The search is now over. (y/f/n) was found dead at 5 in the afternoon."
