Cyan: *puts Ally on time out*

Leo Shane's POV

It was a while before I parted from Eli's body. His eyes were open, and his blue, lifeless eyes gazed at nothing, as they remained open, a sad smile on his cold face. I tried not to scream in agony as I ran my hand over his eyes, closing them for life. Then came the screams of agony, erupting from ny parched throat as I cried out, tears in my eyes as I grieved my dead brother, the only living person I cared about dead, his blood on my hands. I didn't care that I was in the middle of a fight, I didn't care that Emily was in the battlefield.

My older brother, Eli Aromenus Shane, was dead.

Cyan: NO NEED TO RUB IT IN OUR FACES, LEO

Ally's POV

My bones were on fire, my mind was numb and my arms were shaking as I put all my strength in carrying the sky. I had no strength to call out, no strength to even lift my head. I was on the brink of unconsciousness, my head spinning and my vision blood red as I carried the sky, alongside with Martin. I wanted to let go, I wanted the pain to stop, but I would kill my friends if I gave up now. I shut my eyes and focused all my strength on carrying the sky.

Allyson, get ready. I heard a voice say in my head, and I opened my eyes and mustered my strength to look up, but red spots blinded my vision. All I felt was pain. Then I felt Martin kiss my cheek as he wrapped his arm around me, his other hand on carrying the sky. Then I saw her coming. Apollo had tackled her and she was skidding on mud, towards me. I kicked Martin out of the way, and loosened my grip as Emily skidded towards me.

"ALLY, NOW!" Apollo yelled, and I let myself be kicked away from the sky, and I skidded far away from the sky, and I watched as Emily appeared under it and caught it as she went into a kneeling position.

"NO!" Emily yelled in pain, and Apollo spat at her feet in disgust, and growled,

"Olympus will never fall." I thought I heard him say more, but my head pounded and I fell to the ground when I tried to boost myself up with my hands. My vision was red and my limbs were shaking in pain; and the last thing I saw was Anthony and Dad running towards me, their footsteps pounding as they landed on the ground, and I closed my eyes as my head hit the ground too.

Anthony's POV

I dashed to Ally's side, tears in my eyes as I held her unconscious form in my arms, but when I saw her chest rising up and down slowly, but surely, a wave of relief overcame me and I held her in my arms, bridal style. She may be 17, but she's always light enough to carry her. Especially after all the weight she lost after carrying the sky. She was dangerously thin, the colour drained from her face, her forehead beaded with sweat and her breathing ragged, and uneven. Her once light brown hair now had silvery grey streaks, each grey strand glistening in the moonlight. I saw Apollo fussing over Martin as he did the best he could. I glanced at Emily, who was bent under the weight of the sky, the fact that she was more god than human keeping her alive as she used her power to carry the sky. She growled and shouted,

"YOU'LL REGRET THIS! YOU ALL WILL! I WILL BE BACK!" I kicked soil into her eyes and snarled,

"Save your lies for hell." I walked away and glanced at Ally again, and I smiled as I saw her hair turning brown once again, and I heard Annabeth ask,

"Where's Leo?" I strained my ears, and I heard someone sobbing. Broken sobs in the distance, filled with despair. Percy, Annabeth and I went closer to the sobs, and we found a sight which broke our hearts.

Leo, sobbing over the body of his dead, lifeless brother, the top half of his sword stained with ruby red blood.

I didn't believe it. Leo would never. He wouldn't. I couldn't believe what I saw. Only silence lingered in the air, Leo's sobs the only sound. Finally, I whispered,

"Leo?" He muttered, his voice cracking, and repeated over and over,

"He's dead. I killed him. He's dead." He rocked back and forth as he muttered these words, fear, panic, dread, and guilt in his eyes, all buzzing around, fighting for space, and Leo started hyperventilating, and I understood the look in his eyes very clearly. I didn't want this to be true. No. I didn't want it, but a part of me wasn't surprised, like I've been expecting this for a long time. He's lost his fiancè multiple times, saw his brother go insane out of horror, saw Ally die, fell into Tartarus and died there, came back as a Soldier for Hades, then he became one of the only survivors of a war that killed most of his friends. That's more than enough to drive someone insane.

"Leo...." Percy said, but closed his mouth. Even he didn't have any words of comfort. But then again, like all of us, he knew how much family meant to him, and how much he wanted to start one with Alana, how he wanted Eli to see it. Leo never truly moved on from Alana, even after 5 years. I still heard his midnight sobs as I saw him hold a blue framed picture to his chest. I saw the picture once. It was a Shane Gang group photo, all of them in casual gear, huge smiles on their faces as they posed. Leo was in the center behind Ashley, his right arm around Alana's shoulders, his left arm around Eli's, while leaning forward and sticking his tongue out to the camera. Ashley and Junjie were next to each other, Junjie having to kneel to be the same height as Ashley, and both of them aiming their unloaded blasters at the camera, grins on their faces. Glynss and Trixie were behind Kord, climbing on his shoulders while Kord glared at them playfully, and Alana giggling at them, her arm around Leo's shoulders. John jumped into the way in a spreadeagled pose, like how a photobomber would, and his face appeared just right between Eli and Leo's faces. He yelled,

"I killed him!" I held Ally up with my gravity powers as I ran to Leo, but he scrambled away from me, and I saw him. Any part of the Leo we knew was gone. And only one thing replaced it.

One will lose their sanity.

Martin's POV

"Martin, you feeling better?" Apollo asked, and I nodded, although I didn't feel that much better. My joints still ached with pain, I still felt slightly lightheaded, but I stood up, and we saw Anthony trying to calm Leo. He was screaming, I couldn't make out what he was screaming. Apollo teleported us down there, and I saw Ally unconscious and floating just at the level of my chest and Anthony trying unsuccessfully to calm Leo, who was sobbing uncontrollably, and I saw why. Eli's body was on the ground, pale, and a bloodstained sword was embedded into the left side of his chest. I connected the dots and I knew what Leo did.

"Leo Shane, do not despair." I heard a deep voice despair as Ally opened her eyes, which glowed red, and her mouth moved as the voice spoke,

"Offer a soul for your brother. A soul of anyone of your companions, or your own." Leo stopped sobbing at the word "brother, and stood a little straighter. The spirit of Eli appeared on top of Eli's body, hovering over it, like a white wisp of smoke. Eli smiled with pride at Leo, who walked towards his soul. I knew what I had to do. Ally would be upset, but she'll get over me. No one else would miss me. I walked up to Leo, and I asked him,

"Leo, why don't you take my soul? No one would miss me." Leo looked at me, then Eli. He muttered,

"No." Ally walked towards Leo, and her red eyes terrified me, like she was Serena again, with her regal walk, her deep voice as she asked Leo,

"Have you decided?" Leo turned to Ally, and said,

"Send Eli back to Elysium." Ally nodded, and her eyes turned back to blue as they rolled up to her head and her legs buckled from underneath her body. I caught her before she could reach the ground. Leo started to sob again, and we all watched in sullen silence as Leo's sobs turned to cries of pain and anger. When he raised his hands in sorrow, I saw a red scar from underneath his shirt, which was blackened and purple around the edges.

Leo cut himself with an Insanity Dagger.

A few days later......

Crystine's POV

When Ally, Martin, Percy, Annabeth, Leo and Anthony came back, Leo's eyes darted everywhere, eyes large and filled with fear and despair. Anthony was carrying the unconscious form of Ally, who had a few grey streaks in her hair. Martin had the same silvery grey streaks in his hair, and he slouched as he walked, more tired than usual. Percy and Annabeth were just the same, just their expressions slightly sadder as they carried Eli. Or, his dead body. When they came back, Anthony guided Leo to his room, and Leo just followed, too terrified to say anything. I saw him the next day at the tattoo parlor, getting a tattoo on his left wrist, and after he left, I never seen him since, so I decided to see him today. He is my childhood friend, after all. I knocked on the door of the Zeus Cabin, and Jason answered, bags under his blue eyes, his hair disarray and his body leaning against the door frame, and he was drifting off to sleep right there.

"What are you doing here?" Jason asked, grumpy and tired. I told him,

"I'm visiting Leo, and you really need some sleep." Jason nodded and said,

"I would have gotten some sleep if Leo didn't scream so much at night.....he's in his room...." Jason trailed off, and walked into his room, and seconds later I heard snoring. I knocked on the door of Leo's room, and he yelled,

"NO, NOT AGAIN, PLEASE!" Jason groaned and got out of his bed.

"I'm sleeping in Anthony's room." He took his pillow and his glasses before storming out of the door, slamming it behind him. I exclaimed to Leo,.

"Leo, it's Crystine! Crystine Sands!" Silence followed, and I went in. Leo was shivering in the corner, his eyes filled with fear as I approached him. I took a blanket from his bed, and wrapped it around him. He didn't acknowledge if he knew I did it, but finally, he whispered,

"You could have saved her." I looked at him, and he growled as he got up and pointed his index finger to my face.

"YOU COULD HAVE SAVED ALANA!" He hollered, and yelled,

"YOU DIDN'T SAVE HER!" He threw his pillow at me, but it didn't hurt.

"YOU COULD HAVE SAVED THEM! YOU COULD HAVE SAVED ALANA AND DRIANA!!" Leo yelled, and I asked him,

"Who's Driana?" Leo's soft voice broke as Leo sobbed,

"I could have been a father...."

Anthony: Ally, this is just pure evil

Ally: My kind of evil :P

Anthony: No, like, he could have been a dad, and the first person to actually find out was his childhood friend, the only living person with the slightest bit of memory of his parents, who could have saved her and omg you're just too evil why

Realization dawned on me, and I tried to process what Leo just implied. Alana was pregnant?! When did they even......oh gods...if I knew, I would have at least tried to save her. And I should have, instead of listening to the bloody Shadow Clan. Regret washed over me, and I sat with Leo in silence, both of us grieving his fiancè, grieving their unborn child, grieving his parents, grieving Eli, my childhood friend, his brother. The deaths of everyone, Striker, Igor, Ashley, John, Aquestrius, Frank, Piper, Hazel, during the war. The death of a childhood trio.

Anthony: THE FEELS ARE HITTING ME SO HARD

Anthony: LIKE NO

Anthony: YOU COMMITED A MASS MURDER AND KILLED EVERYONE

After a while, I left the room, unable to bear with the grief. I left his cabin, and I ran into Anthony, who smiles sadly at me.

"Hey, Crystine. Is Leo ok?" I responded,

"No, he's really upset, he might need a therapist....he's really traumatized." Anthony sighed, his sad smile turning into a frown.

"He doesn't deserve this. He just doesn't. Name any of the Blakks, and they deserve it." Anthony growled, and I agreed,

"He's a good guy. I knew him ever since we were kids, and he never done anything to deserve this, unless you count stealing Eli's waffles." We both chuckled, and after that, Anthony smiled and reassured,

"At least Emily's out of the way. She's carrying the sky as we speak." Just then, I remembered the grey streaks in Ally's hair as she lay in Anthony's arms, unconscious. I asked him,

"Is Ally okay?" He frowned and responded,

"She's resting up fine, but she was so close to dying, she could have died...I still can't believe she slipped me that sleeping potion...." He trailed off and I could see him fighting back tears as he said,

"Well, I'll see you later, I guess. Bye." He walked towards the Zeus Cabin, and I walked towards mine. I went inside, and in seconds, Kayla was running towards me, eyes wide, and a book in her hand.

"Crystine, you have to listen to me." She told me, and she dragged me to the couch before I could ask her what's going on. She sat next to me and opened a book titled "Slugterra and It's Legends: Updated Version" and flipped to a chapter called "The Five Elementals of Slugterra", and read the first paragraph.

"The Five Elemental Slugs, or the Five Elementals, may be said to be the most powerful slugs on Earth, but there are two slugs more powerful than all of them combined, both made by the Shadow Clan with their own mysterious power. They are called the Master Slugs, and when the two slugs mated, they bore the Five Elementals. The oldest one is the Energy Elemental, the second one is the Earth Elemental, the third one is the Water Elemental, the fourth one is the Air Elemental and lastly, the Fire Elemental. They have the powers of all five elementals, plus the powers of the Shadow Clan, which include being able to travel through the shadows at will, and going into velocity to attack predators. The slugs were so powerful when together, so one was killed long ago to prevent chaos, and the other made immortal. If the slug is shot at the center of Slugterra, all dark energy will be eliminated by it's power into the Deep Caverns for centuries." She paused, then continued.

"If the slug is shot at an injured or insane friend or a normal citizen, the slug will turn them back into their original state. If the slug is shot at an enemy, the enemy will face a painful death, and stay dead for eternity unless the slug is corrupted. If the slug is corrupted, only one powerful with the Light of Slugterra or has the blood of a god and a Shadow Clan member can heal it, and the slug only can be tamed by one with Shadow Blood." She looked at my eyes, and I looked back into her green eyes. This slug was immortal. And only one existed. It wasn't much, but it was hope.

To undo what has been done.

Slugterra could be saved.
