Martin's POV

I was done packing, and I had 10 minutes before Ally, Leo and I left on our quest. I was finished packing, and I checked what I got twice: nectar, ambrosia, mortal money, food, water, a set of clothes, some weapons and dramchas. I zipped up my backpack and strapped my belt with the sheath of my dagger and the strap of my blaster on, and I sheathed my Vitalis Crystal Dagger and hung my blaster. I loaded my bandoleer with the few slugs I had left: Eli's Infurnus Burpy, my Aquabeek Ally, my Rammstone Valdezi, my Thugglet Slugcat, and my Arachnet Cyan. I put Burpy on my left shoulder, Ally on my right, and the rest in the 3 slugtubes. I looked in the mirror, and took in a deep breath. I looked better than last time. My eye bags were starting to fade, and I wasn't frowning. I wasn't reliving my worst memories. I felt ok for looking at myself, for once. I smiled and muttered,

"Well, here I go. Time to free Dad." I walked out of my room, and closed the door. I went down the firepole and ate a piece of bread to calm my nerves. While I was enjoying the piece of bread, I heard a sound I thought I would never hear ever again. A slug being fired. I threw my bread aside and bolted through the hallway to the door. When I opened the door, I saw the unconscious form of Ally slung over the shoulder of a masked man who was bolting for the exit, and a few others who were masked were surronding him in a protective manner.

"HEY, GET BACK HERE!" I yelled, and unsheathed my dagger. Flexing my wrist, I threw my dagger like a boomerang. The dagger made a huge cut on the heads of the masked men before coming back to me, stained with the blood of 5 of the masked men. I dashed to the only masked men left, and I tackled them before they could attack me.

"ALLY, WAKE UP!!" I yelled, and I sighed in relief as I saw her eyes move slightly. She was ok. But when I caught a look at her, I knew she couldn't fight. Her eyes were glazed over, and her head immediately went back down when she raised her head. They made her dizzy. The Héroes may seem invicible, but if you make any Héroe dizzy enough, they'll be unable to do anything for hours. I tried it before. Ally couldn't even move without getting dizzier.

Slugcat: Good to know.....heheheheheh

Ally: O.O pls no

Slugcat: Then y u so evil

Ally: I just am

I kicked a guy in his hideous face, and I was about to attack another guy when I felt a strong force slam to the side of my head and I fell to the ground. I felt something warm trickle down the side of my head, and when I touched it, I realized it was blood. I growled deeply as I saw a Grimmstone cackling as it hopped back to the masked men. I tried to get up, but the other shot my legs with a Attacknet, and I was pinned to the grass, my legs tangled in the sticky web as I watched the men run away with Ally. The wound in my head flowed with blood, making me light headed and dizzy. I shot Ally (the Aquabeek) at the men, who fell back at the blast. Burpy finished burning the spiderweb over my legs and I thanked him as he hopped back onto my shoulder. I ran to the thugs, but my heart filled with anger and shock when I realized that the thug that had Ally wasn't there.

They took her.

Unknown POV

I dashed away, holding Ally's limp form on my shoulder, ripping off my mask as I ran deeper into the forest. I didn't want to do this. I didn't want to work for Emily and Eli, I rather rot in the Fields of Punishment.

Anthony: THEN WHY CHU WORKING FOR HIM

JBV: YEAH, WHY?

But if I didn't, they would kill Leo. And if I did, they'll bring Alana back to life. Alana. She's my pride, my joy. She's my daughter.

Anthony: ARE YOU JUNJIE

I would do anything to bring her back to life. I had to have her back, no matter how much I had to give, no matter how much I had to do. Even if I had to work with insolent thugs and stupid Eli. He was a good man before. Now he was a monster. I heard her stir, and I ran faster. Finally, I saw the portal that would lead me to Mount Tam. I ran into the portal, and leaped in it seconds before it closed. In seconds, I was thrown at Eli's feet, Ally in my arms.

"I brought her. The Broken Warrior took down the rest." He swore slightly under his breath about how the thugs were dense and stupid, and I held back my own opinions about Eli himself. Like, you betray your brother for a bitch like Emily?!  And you call people stupid. Gt your priorities right. Eli replied,

"You made her dizzy, I presume? Nothing else can put her in the state she's in." I nodded grimly, and he chuckled darkly as he told me,

"You really are devoted to bringing back Alana, and I like it." I nodded and growled,

"She's my daughter." Eli smiled and joyfully said,

"That's the spirit. You'll get your daughter in no time. High five!" He held up his hand, but I asked him instead,

"Where should I put Ally?" He frowned and responded,

"The high security dungeon, of course. She's fricking Ally. Only Slugcat can challenge her, but she isn't here. Now don't leave me hanging, bro." I rolled my eyes, slung Ally over my shoulder and igjored him. I mentally growled at his cocky smirk, the evil and delight in his eyes as I carried the unconscious form of Ally in my arms, the fact he betrayed his only family left. All because of persuasion and a few drops of Dark Water. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore. I snapped,

"Aromenus Elinus Shane, keep this in mind. I am not your 'bro', as you call it. Number one, it's 'brother', number 2, I'm not even male, number 3, your only brother is Leo Shane. Or have you forgotten that over a few drops of Dark Water?!"

Anthony: This is exactly what I wanna say to Series Eli now

JBV: IKR

Leo S: Wait....WAIT.....I KNOW WHO THIS IS, CYAN, IS SHE WHO I THINK SHE IS

I watched as Eli's smirk turned into a snarl as he growled,

"Do not mention that sorry excuse of a brother in front of me. You can call me a traitor, a cruel bitch, but you don't mention him, You mention him again, and our deal is off." I frowned, and I nodded.

"Bring Ally to highest security and inform Emily when she's awake." Eli walked away, and I walked to the high security cells. As I walked, I whispered to Ally,

"Wake up, wake up, please, I don't want to do this to you..." I knew it was hopeless, but I could try. She stirred and her eyes struggled to open, but she groaned and lay back, unconscious. I shouldn't have made her dizzy.

Ally, wake up, please.

Percy's POV

I searched all over the camp for Ally, Leo, Martin and Anthony. Jason checked the skies, I checked the sea. They weren't there.

"Percy!" I heard a voice call, and I turned towards it to find a distresed Martin, a wound in his head and anger written all over his expression. He was dragging 5 men tied up in a spiderweb.

"Percy, around 10 men just invaded camp, and they took Ally! 5 of them are here, the rest escaped, and here you are now when the drama is over!" He threw the unconscious men at my feet. I swore under my breath and I asked,

"Chiron needs to know this. Have you seen Anthony or Leo?" Martin replied,

"Ally got a dream from her dad telling her to prevent Anthony from going to the quest. She slipped him a powerful sleeing potion, he could be out for hours. For Leo, I don't know." I frowned and responded,

"Thanks. Tell Chiron about the kidnapping and Anthony. We'll get Leo." He nodded and ran to the Big House. Jason landed beside me, and suggested,

"Percy, maybe Leo's still asleep?" I facepalmed for being dumb, and told Jason,

"I should've thought of that. Can you see if he's there? I'll see you at the Big House." He nodded and headed for his cabin. As I walked to the Big House, I replayed the prophecy.

The youngest child of Poseidon was Ally, as far as we know.

The Broken Warrior

That was Martin, he lost Ally which turned him mentally unstable for a while, with a broken spirit.

The Surviving Warrior of Hades.

Leo was the only Warrior of Hades who survived the Slugterran Titan War.

They will go west to the burdened sun

Apollo's in trouble, and he has a burden, I guess?

To undo what has been done.

But what? What has been done? Alana's death? The loss of the war? The deaths? What, exactly?

One shall take the burden,

Anthony or Martin, maybe? Anthony's the oldest among everyone going for the quest. And he'll know about taking responsibility. Maybe that's his burden. Or maybe it's Martin, and that he has to deal with his dad, who could be a burden at times. It could be Leo, too, because he has to take the burden of the quest when he already has a lot going on with him, or Ally, who can be herocially stupid sometimes.

One will lose their sanity,

I'm hoping it's not Leo. He still has a lot to fight for. Out of everyone, he's the one who can't lose his sanity. Besides being the only surviving Warrior of Hades, he's been through too much to get a tragic ending.

One would offer their soul,

Probably Ally, knowing the fact she can make decisions dumber than mine in battle, and that's a hard thing to do. Sacrificing herself for Leo was brave, but stupid, considering the fact that she could just distract her while Heatstroke could have melted the ice that was trapping him.

One will bring despair to another,

That should already be done, Ally seemed pretty upset when Anthony volunteered for the quest. Or when Martin brought Alana back. That made Leo upset. Or when the quest was announced, Anthony was pretty bummed out.

And one will die by a sibling's hand.

This may seem dumb, but honestly, Anthony might kill Ally, and it's not impossible for it to be on purpose.

Anthony: OH HELLLLLLL NAUW PERCY YOU STOOPID

When I thought about it, it could happen. He wanted to go on the quest really badly, and they're siblings, both mortal side and immortal side. And if Dad did ask her to stop Anthony from going to the quest, he could have been trying to save her life. He did make Ally think she was tortured because of him, and he neglected her a lot, Dad would warn her, at least. And Anthony also said Ally shouldn't go on the quest. Everyone may think of him as a good brother, but I learned to think otherwise. Luke looked like a good guy before he betrayed camp and got me stung by a pit scorpion. And that was 10 years ago. Eli told me about a more recent betrayal: Twist. And there's Aquito and Violet. Anthony could be no different.

Until I remembered something.

3 per a quest.

Someone would have to volunteer in Ally's place, and if no one volunteers, they'll take another Poseidon camper who has the closest age to Ally.

They'll pick Valdezi.

Leo Shane's POV

After a few cuts, I placed down the knife, and mentally smiled to myself as I saw the silver white blade of the dagger, the top half stained with my ruby, red blood. Subconsciously, I knew it was wrong. I really did. But I didn't have much to live for. Everyone I ever loved are dead. I looked at the dagger, and a broken reflection stared back at me with eyes that saw indescribable horror. To me, the dagger symbolized what could have been a perfectly normal person, but forged to do life threatening tasks and it's innocence was destoryed, making it hell bent on his or her duty. When I looked at the dagger, I saw an innocent child's wishes and dreams crushed and crumbled to dust.

"Leo! Wake up, you have ten minutes to get ready for the quest!" I froze for a second when I heard Jason's voice calling, and I quickly hid the dagger in my closet, dried the blood leaking from the wound on my side, put on a shirt and pretended to be asleep.

"Five more minutes..." I muttered, trying to sound sleepy and collapsed back into my pillow. Jason came in, and he sighed,

"Leo, get up, you butthead, you have a quest in ten minutes. I've been looking for you." He took off my covers and I groaned as I got up, not because I didn't want to get up, but because my side flared with pain.

"You don't look like you slept well last night, you ok?" He asked and I brushed it off.

"Yeah." I took a backpack from my chest of items and loaded it with some clothes, food, water, weapons, and a picture of Eli, Alana, Trixie and I. We were in a photobooth session that Ashley and her friends organized for a fundraiser, and she thought that if we were seen in the photobooth, everyone would come. I had hipster glasses on and a white wig, Alana with a fake unibrow, Eli with a mustache and a shawl over his head, and Trixie with a fake beard. I tried to blink back my tears as I saw my arm around Alana's waist as Ashley snapped a photo of us laughing at Eli and Trixie's expressions. This was our first date as a couple.

Cyan: FEELZ NO

I tried to blink back my tears as I put the photo gently into my backpack. They were all dead. Trixie. Eli. Alana. Trixie was like an older sister to me. Eli was one of the best brothers I could ask for, even if he was dense sometimes. And Alana...how do I explain her?

Ashley: Mean Girls anyone

Ally: Yup, not a huge fan tho

No words can truly capture the fact she was flawless in every way. And no one can describe the pain I felt when I kissed her goodbye at her funeral. I knew it would be the last time I would see her cyan blue eyes, the last time I would feel her warm lips against my own. The last time I would hold her warm hand. The last time I would ever hear her voice.

"Leo, are you ok?" Jason asked, and I nodded solemnly before I crumbled to the ground, and sobbed as I felt Jason's arms around me. My tears fell down from my eyes, and I watched as they fell on the white, marble floor.

One tear. Alana's death.

Two tears. Eli's death.

Three tears. My mother's death.

Four tears. The destruction of the only place I truly belonged in.

Five tears. The death of Driana Evanlyn Shane, Alana and my unborn daughter.

Cyan: WAIT, WHAT?!

Anthony: ALANA WAS PREGNANT?!?!

Ally: YOU ALL DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING, DID YOU

JBV: ALLY IS MADE OUT OF EVIL ITSELF AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE

Martin: AND THAT NAME IS BEAUTIFUL *sob* NOOOOOO

Cyan: WHY ARE YOU SO EVIL?!?!

Leo S: I BRACED MYSELF FOR EVIL BUT NOT THIS MUCH HOW COULD YOU

Ally: I told you I was being extra evil for the ending :3

Leo S: BUT I HAD A CHILD! WE COULD HAVE HAD A FAMILY, ALANA AND I COULD HAVE GOT A BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER AND PERCABETH COULD HAVE GOT MARRIED AND AGH WHY

Ally: I told you I was evil, didn't I?
