I wonder what's next...

"Yoona."

I turned around to see Rapmonster smiling at me. I returned his smile, as he walked towards me.
"Now, it's time for fighting."

WHAT?!

"I can't fight." I refused immediately. I was weak, and there was no way I'd survive in a fight.

"Everyone is weak when they start... You just have to build yourself up. Come here," He motioned for me to come closer to him. We were stood facing each other. Without realising I was stood up straight, my head up and holding Namjoon's gaze. He smirked. "Good, I see you've taken V's advice."

I didn't say anything, but smiled slightly.

I wiped away a sheen of sweat from my forehead. I had learned some simple punches and kicks, and was using them against a punchbag, while Rapmon watched me silently.

"Good..." He muttered, "But you need more power."

I sighed. Power was not something I had.
He must have sensed it, because he placed a hand on my shoulder.
"It's okay Yoona, it's only your first day. No one expects you to be good just yet."

I nodded, and he began to teach me simple blocks and defences. In the corner of my eye, I saw the others filing in from the stairs. My lack of focus caused me to falter and Rapmon easily pushed me to the ground.

"Don't look at them, you can't get distracted in a fight," He smiled as I rose to my feet again.

"Sorry," I smiled back.

Rapmon turned away from me to get a drink. Someone placed a hand on my shoulder, and I turned to look at the face of Suga.

"It's time for you to pick a weapon."

"A weapon?!" I walked towards the beginning of the wall, looking down at the stretch of weapons before me.

"Yes. Take your pick of any one weapon that you want to become competent with. Take into account your abilities - if you're a hands on fighter, a sword would be best, or even a knife. If not, a bow and arrow would be better for long distance. There is also a selection of clubs and maces if you're more interested in bigger items for more force..." Jin explained as I slowly scanned the assortment, looking at every section in detail.
Clubs and maces? No thanks! As if I had the power to even lift one, let alone swing it. A bow? My aim wouldn't be the best I imagined, and it just wasn't something I was interested in. I paused at the swords section, the very last one. They were of a variety of lengths - some almost my height, others tiny knives that were not even the size of my hand. I guess those were more for close combat fighting.

My gaze fell upon a blade the length of about three quarters of my forearm, solid black in colour. The handle was silver, with an intricate pattern engraved along the hilt. Small scratches adorned the edge, though it was still sharp - it held the scars of battle. A single red gem was embedded at the base of the handle, glinting in the light. There was something drawing me to it, but I didn't know what. It was situated right at the bottom corner, as if it was purposely put there so it wouldn't be taken.

I pulled it off the wall from its hook and brought it close to me. The cold metal felt comfortable in my grip, almost as if it was made for my hands, the handle perfect and the blade light.

"This one," I decided, turning to face the others. They gasped; Jin covered his mouth with his hands, Rapmon was frowning. J-Hope was shaking his head and V looked anxious.

"No." Jungkook spoke.

"Why not?" I asked, confused. That was a mistake. Jungkook's eyes turned black and a growl escaped his throat. He clenched his fists, but before he could strike Rapmon grabbed him, and due to his immense strength even Jungkook couldn't move. I stared in horror at him, his fierce gaze upon me. Slowly but surely, his brown eyes returned and he slumped against his captor, closing his eyes. Rapmon steadied the boy as he nodded at Suga, indicating to tell me.

"This blade... has a history. I recommend picking something else."

For some bizarre reason, my instinct was telling me to keep it. And so I shook my head, surprising Suga and Namjoon, who shared an uneasy look, before he said, "Very well. I think we should call it a day..."

No one said a word as we filed out of the hall, and I felt guilty for making the atmosphere awkward.
Maybe I made a mistake... But my gut told me I hadn't. So I just kept quiet.

"Do you think Yoona's one of them?"

I slowed down at the mention of my name, glancing around to check no one else was outside before pressing my ear to the closed door.

"I don't know," Namjoon's voice. The first must have been Yoongi. "It's hard to tell, maybe it was a coincidence. I just don't know."

Yoongi's soothing voice spoke, "Don't worry too much about it, we've got plenty of time. Let's just concentrate on training her, and we'll take things as they come."

"You're right. But what if-"

"Don't think negatively, Yoona seems lovely!"

"That's what we thought about her when she first came...."

There was a pause, and I heard a sigh from Suga. "Don't let the others know. At all..."

I quickly moved at the sound of shuffling, and scurried down the corridor into my own room, sitting on the bed with my heart beating fast.

What were they talking about?
