The night before Harry was down at Hagrid's hut finding out information from Slughorn. He also learned that Aragog, HAgrid's giant spider died. He used the Liquid Luck for it. Slughorn told Harry about the flower in the bowl, it was beautiful magic, the flower was a Lily. He finally got Slughorn's memory, he immediately brought it to Dumbledore. To find out that Voldemort has split his soul seven times, he was immortal. It was dark magic called Horcruxes. He was to be assisting Dumbledore on his next mission. The next morning Cortney has left her dorm and entered the common room.

" There's my little snack," Theodore said with a smirk. Cortney remembered everything his mother and brother said. She had enough and whipped out her wand. She marched up to him and pointed it at him.

" Would you like to repeat that sentence? " Cortney threatened.

" Like you going to anything to me, " Theodore laughed. " After all these weeks--" SMACK! Cortney punched him directly in the nose and blood started gushing out. Everyone around them was staring, Cortney looked back and saw her friends all smiling proudly including Draco.

" WHAT THE FUCK CORTNEY! " Theodore shouted he went to go smack her, but Cortney waved her wand and he flew back. He was sitting on the ground rubbing his head. Cortney slowly walked up to him, she tilted his head up to her with her wand.

" Theodore, did you forget who's daughter, I am," Cortney reminded him. His eyes grew wide. " I told my mother about you, and she wasn't very happy".  Theodore tried to scoot back more into the wall in fear. " Touch me again, and you will regret it". Cortney stood up, put her wand away, flipped her hair, and walked away. Pansy followed her out of the common room.

" I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! " Pansy shouted. " What took you so long to fight back? "

" He was so busy beating me down, that I forgot who I was and what I was capable of. Then I remembered, what Draco and my mum told me," Cortney answered. " I am the daughter of the most loyal follower to the You-Know-Who and the best dueler in our year".

" Did you really tell your mum about him? " Pansy asked.

" No, but he doesn't need to know that," Cortney smirked as he got closer to the Gryffindor Tower.

" You are so naughty! " Pansy squealed.

" He messed with the wrong girl," Cortney smiled. They stopped at the painting.

" Go tell Finnigan, and don't leave out a single detail, tell me his reaction," Pansy pleaded.

" Of course I'll tell you bestie," Cortney laughed. The two pretended to kiss each other's cheek before going in opposite directions. Cortney entered the common room and saw Ginny first thing.

" Cort? " Ginny asked surprised. " I haven't seen you here in a while".

" It's good to see you too," Cortney smiled. " Have you seen Seamus? "

" He should be up in his dorm with Dean and Neville, " Ginny answered. " Harry and Ron already left.

" Thank you," Cortney said as she went up the stairs. She knocked on the door. " Is everyone dressed? "

" You can come in Cortney," Dean informed her. She opened the door and found them all fixing their hair in the bathroom. She went over to the chair she normally sits in.

" You seem happy," Seamus said smiling at her.

" I am happy," Cortney said looking at him.

" Did you finally stand up to Theodore? " Neville asked.

" Yes, actually," Cortney answered.

" Now I want to hear about this! " Dean exclaimed excitedly. All three boys finished up in the bathroom. They sat on Seamus's bed since it was the chair she usually sits on.

" Okay first, Neville doesn't get mad I broke one of our promises," Cortney warned.

" Which one? " He asked offended.

" You'll see," Cortney giggled. " Anyways I came out of my dorm this morning, and I got to the common room. Theodore was there and he saw me and goes there's my little snack. He had this stupid smirk on his face as he expected me to be a coward in fear. Then everything my mother and Draco has told me ram through my mind and I had enough. So I marched over to him with my wand out and pointed it at him-"

" Did you hex him? " Dean asked.

" No, " Cortney replied. " Then I asked him if he would like to repeat his sentence and he goes like you are going to do anything to me. After all these and in the middle of his sentence I punched him right in the nose, and blood gushed out"

" What did we say about punching people? " Seamus reminded her trying not to smile.

" Not to punch," Cortney answered with a smile. " Then I looked around and saw my friend and Draco looking at me proudly. Then he shouted what the fuck Cortney. He went to go smack, but I waved my wand and sent him flying back. He hit the wall. I slowly walked up to him as he rubbed his head and blood flowed out of his nose. I lifted his head so his eyes would meet mine with my wand-"

" You didn't murder him, did you !? " Neville shrieked.

" No, of course not! " Cortney exclaimed. " I go, Theodore, did you forget who's the daughter I am ? Then I told him that I told my mother about him and she wasn't very happy. Then I threatened him to not touch me again and I left with Pansy".

" You broke a promise! " Neville shouted a little angry.

" I know, and I'll tell you three what I told Pansy, I never told my mother anything".

" You devilish little girl! " Seamus shouted smiling. Cortney laughed. Soon it was just Cortney and Seamus in the room. They were laying on his bed. He laid his head on her lap, and she ran her fingers through her hair. " I'm glad you finally stood up for yourself".

" Thanks, Seamus," Cortney smiled as she ran her fingers through his hair.

" Cortney? " Seamus asked sitting up and looking at her.

" Seamus? " Cortney asked.

" I should have done this a long time ago," Seamus stated before smashing his lips onto hers. She was taken back at first, but she kissed back. Not too long after things got heated.
