As promised, Wooyoung and San went back to the cafe where they had stumbled upon yesterday and also where they may have met their soulmate. They still have yet to accept the fact that it’s not going to be the two of them anymore and they worried if Yeosang would be open to being with the both of them.

They sat at the same table as before, there weren’t too many people considering that it’s night but still they couldn’t help but blur everything around as they converse with each other.

“Good evening, may I take your order?” They let their conversation hang in the air, their eyes landing on the waiter standing by their table. Yeosang. San bit his lips, suddenly feeling shy under Yeosang’s eyes. They ordered the same menu as before, the usual green tea latte and strawberry milkshake.

“Mhm, strawberries.” Yeosang flashed yet another smile at them, jotting down their orders as if he hadn't memorized them already.

“Must be your favorite.” Wooyoung placed his elbow on the table, leaning his head on his hand while staring directly at Yeosang with a playful smirk.

“Maybe, maybe not.” Yeosang shrugged, just as Wooyoung is about to deflate at the answer, he continued, “But for you, it might as well be my favorite.” He winked. Wooyoung immediately turned red, clearly taken aback at the comeback that he wasn’t expecting. He felt flustered, so he chose to pretend to look out of the window.

San snickered. It wasn’t often that Wooyoung gets flustered but it could also be because of the mate pull that is affecting all of them, or maybe the both of them. He isn’t too confident that Yeosang could feel so, considering that he’s human and all that.

“I’ll be right back with your order.” Yeosang bowed politely at them, rushing back until he bumped into what seems to be one of his co-workers. This one’s a bit new to Wooyoung and San since he hasn’t seen him yesterday. However, they are familiar with the scent that made their noses scrunch.

“Hyung, they ordered a-”

“From the two yesterday, right?” Wooyoung didn’t mean to eavesdrop but he couldn’t help it. Yeosang nodded, the co-worker laughed then patted his hair. They also couldn’t help but glare in jealousy towards the scene they had witnessed.

“They know us already,” Wooyoung informed San in a hushed voice. “They got our orders memorized even when we just visited yesterday.” San nodded, before getting themselves immersed with different topics that they seem to endlessly come up with.

"Here is your order." Their heads snapped towards the angelic voice that called on them. They gazed at Yeosang, who seemed to be examining them before turning red at noticing their eyes on him.

“Cute,” San whispered under his breath, the corner of his eyes crinkling at the sight of Yeosang turning, even more, redder than before. Yeosang immediately bowed politely after placing the tray down on the table. He smiled awkwardly at them then strode back to the kitchen.

“You’re so red,” Seonghwa commented upon walking past Yeosang. “Mhm, they really are interested.”

“Shut up,” Yeosang muttered shyly, covering up his blushing face with his hands. ‘They can hear us from here. More importantly, the one with blonde hair can hear us.’ Yeosang mind-linked to Seonghwa to prevent any eavesdroppers.

‘I can tell. He’s a vampire as I could recognize from his scent, right? The other one is a devil. What an interesting pair of mates you have, Sangie.’ Yeosang groaned out loud, peeking in between his fingers to glare at Seonghwa.

“Interesting, my ass.” He playfully bumped his fist to Seonghwa’s shoulder.

Seonghwa smirked, “Your ass does look interesting.”

“Hyung!”

Wooyoung frowned at what he had heard. He doesn't know the context as he seems to have missed something in their conversation despite listening from the start.

San shot him a look of confusion, seeing the way that his lips curl up in a snarl at the thought running in his head.

"Woo?" He watched in amusement as Wooyoung narrowed his eyes at the counter where Yeosang disappeared earlier. He has a vague idea on what got Wooyoung looking irritated.

"That shithead is really gonna be complimenting our soulmate's ass." San almost laughed until the words registered in his head.

"Wait, who?" He hated the fact that he doesn't have any heightened senses like Wooyoung's.

"That guy, the one who patted his hair earlier." Wooyoung aggressively sipped on his strawberry milkshake. "Only we can compliment our soulmate."

"You're becoming way too possessive and jealous." San teased, "Do that when we're actually officially together." Wooyoung huffed, continuing to sip through the straw.

A look of realization passes by Wooyoung, immediately pushing his attention to San. "Do you think that we are creeping him out? We just barged in here and started flirting with him and just watching him." San blinked, now that he had thought about it. It would seem stalkerish to the human even when they clearly only intend to get to know their soulmate more and grow closer to him.

"Should we tone it down a bit? He's human after all, maybe he feels threatened?"

"I knew it, this is a bad idea." Wooyoung groaned. "I still can't get over the fact that his coworker complimented his ass."

"Well, it's technically not a bad idea on our side but in the human world… Okay, you're right. It may be a bad idea." San concluded, raising the cup up to his lips to take a gulp.

"How about we approach him in a much more friendly way? I mean, it's not too late is it?" They thought about it for a moment, their gaze slowly trailing back to Yeosang, who seems to be busy talking to his coworker, a different coworker than the one they don't like.

"It's weird how all his coworkers are angels." His nose scrunched up in dismay at the mention of it.

"He has the personality of an angel, so not much of a difference." Wooyoung shrugged.

"Now, don't go that far. I don't like angels, and you know that." San pointed out. "Should we get going? We shouldn't stay long if we're planning to be on a friendly side with him." Wooyoung nodded in agreement as both of them stood up from their seats.

They both walked up to the counter to pay for their drinks, which Yeosang might have forgotten to do earlier. They come face-to-face with their soulmate and the vampire coworker, in which San could see his name to be Hongjoong. They had seen him before, loitering behind the counter and observing the cafe once in a while.

"Oh, I guess Yeosang is too distracted to get the payment." Hongjoong teased, playfully bumping into Yeosang. "I hope he didn't do much trouble."

"Hyung." Yeosang glared, "Well, I guess I'll see you both again." Hongjoong made a sound at the implication of it that neither Wooyoung nor San could pick up on as they are both focused on the fact that Yeosang thought of seeing them again.

They bid their farewells after paying. As they were about to leave the cafe, Wooyoung slightly picked up on their conversation.

"You're an ass, hyung." muttered Yeosang.

"Now, now, Sangie. We don't call people an ass." Hongjoong fired back.

"Hongjoong does have a nice ass, but yours are interesting too Sangie." a voice that Wooyoung dreaded to hear, butted in.

"Hyung!"
