"What is it?" He asked me finally picking up the letter from the table.

He started reading the content and his grinned face was replaced with anger...

"What is this?" He asked finally looking at my eyes with anger.

Don't loose your confidence Vedu, its a matter of 5 minutes only.

"It's what you're seeing Mr. Parker. My Resignation Letter. And i will be very grateful if you discharge me from my services without any charges on me." I said politely...

"What made you think that I will  approve this? Can you give me a single reason for this resignation?" He said making me angry...

"You're very well aware about the reason." I said crossing my arms.

He stood up from his chair and walked upto me. I took a step back voluntarily seeing him coming closer.

"Is it? Enlighten me too... As far as i remember, there is no reason for your backing out from your responsibility" he asked with a smirk standing two steps distance from me.

"Are you really asking me this? Really?" I asked him with shocked and angry face.

How dare he to talk to me this casually?

"Yes, tell me mio amore..." He said...

"Better you talk to me in a language i understand..." i huffed as its frustrating, being an alien to the words, the other person is saying...

"punto notato mio caro...ma mi sento bene quando so che non capirai le mie parole..." He said something making me more angry...

{Point noted my dear but it feels good when I know you won't understand my words...}

I just look at him in annoyance as i didn't understand anything he said.

He just wants to annoy me. I understand it very well. Cool down Vedika!!! I chanted in my mind. But then the words burst out of my mouth before i could control them...

"Kutta kamina..." I said and next second my eyes were wide with horrific look...

{Kutta Kamina - the cuss word in Hindi which we usually use to abuse someone}

Shit!!!

"What did you say?" He asked with a frown, then i realised he won't understand my Hindi...

I thank my stars for saving me from the devil...

"Nothing that concerns you, Mr. Parker" I said with a smile... Note the sarcasm.

He looked at me with suspicious look for a second while i continued to smile...

Not that i want to but i have realised that- to get my work done- i will have to be polite, otherwise i would have slapped him long back.

Is it? Are you sure Vedu? My inner heart conflicted and i shut it up as it is very naive!!!

As if you're too bold??? My inner heart smirked at me and i mentally glare at her...

"Coming back to your letter, why do you think i will accept it?" He asked me in his deep voice again, now taking liberty to sit on the single seat sofa...

Not that i mind, first its his very own office and second it gives me space to breathe. As he being close to me do some somersault in my mind.

"Because i don't wish to continue here anymore" i said sternly.

"Why don't you make yourself comfortable by sitting over here" he said pointing to the couch adjacent to where he was sitting.

"I am fine here" i said and he, being an eagle eyes only stared at me the whole time...

Dejectedly i walked and sat on the farthest end of the sofa.

He smirked as i knowingly/unknowingly agreed to what he said.

"Can you please sign on my resignation letter now, Mr. Parker" i said rather requested him.

"No!!!" He refused my request in a single word.

"But you can't make me stay here by force" i said...

"Try me" he threaten me while i looked at him astonished by the fact that he has such an arrogant and dangerous aura...

My tongue tied not coming up with any sort of reply...

"And you should have think about it while signing the contract" he said which is true.

But i never imagined that i will have to do this too soon.

"I am waiting" he said while i looked towards him with a frown.

"For what?" I asked him with confusion.

"Your reasons" he said...

"Because of whatever happened last night" I said closing my eyes in embarrassment.

"What exactly happened mio amore?" he asked with amusement in his voice.

It made me somewhat angry. He wants me to say it loudly. Thats it!!!

"You..." I get up from the sofa and stood in front of him.

"Yes, mia amore..." He said with a smirk...

Looking at his scary eyes, i forgot the words i wanted to say...

"Just sign the letter. Thats all..." I said...

"I will when you will give me a good reason" he stated...

Now i don't know what is good response in his language. But i have one solid reason...

"How can you pretend that nothing happened last night?" i asked now directly as there is no reason to walk around the bush...

"Is something happened last night? Why don't i remember anything?" He said casually while pretending to think about it...

He is such a presumptuous man. After taking advantage of my situation, he is pretending like an innocent monkey.

"You're such a...such a leech...After you took advantage of min-" my words interuppted with the thud as he grabbed my wrist and pulled me in his lap.

I straight forwardly went into his lap in side manner whereas he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Leave me you ba-bastard..." I screamed at him...

"Did i touched you like this Bella..." he said grazing his hands around my stomach over my neon colour shirt i wore today and i feel shivered with this act of his.

His touch was alien yet warm but then i realised that how i was feeling and snap out of my thoughts...

I immediately turned out to hit him and my palm almost rested on his cheek but he dodged at last moment resulting it in missing the aim as well as his forehead touched my shoulders as he moved forward.

"D..O..N..T Y..O..U E..V..E..R T..R..Y T..H..I..S S..T..U..N..T A..G..A..I..N" He said gritting his teeth making me shiver with the look he gave me.

I immediately tried to get up from this unwanted position but he didn't let me.

"Did you hear me?" He asked pressing me more into him.

"You also don't try to touch me..." I said shuddering in fear yet confident as I can bear anything but not harassment.

"Well according to your theory, i have done much more than touching you tesoro" he said with a smirk face tracing his finger on my arm.

This man can never fail to amaze me...I find him with a smirked face more than the actual normal face. If someone give me a tape or glue i can permanently fix his face.

Utilising the maximum strength, i pulled myself away from his arms. Luckily, he didn't managed to hold me against my will this time.

I composed myself before shooting a question at him.

"When you have already ruined me, what else you want from me, Mr. Parker" i asked feeling my eyes damp with water.

"Tsk tsk tsk...wrong question bella...what i want you will know very soon..." He said confusing me.

"Touching someone without her consent is known as Harrasment. You know i can call cops for what you have done to me..." I threaten him to which he chuckled loudly in his devilishly beasty smile...

He immediately get up in a jet speed and came closer me...

"Here...Call the cops" He said forwarding his phone to me.

To say i was shocked would be an understatement. Nevertheless, i hold the mobile which was already open.

But i don't know the emergency number. Now what???

"Try dialling 1..1..2" he said arrogantly.

I punched the number but stopped my fingers in middle once i heard his next words.

"I would also like to see what punishment cops will give to a saviour" he said confusing me...

"Saviour?" I asked him.

"Tell me one thing by the way what were you doing in that parking lot with that bastard who was ready to fuck you hard..." He said while i widened my eyes at his choice of words.

"Oh i forget, you're such kind of woman who spread her legs infront of anyone under the influence of alcohol" he spat in anger and i could not hold myself anymore and gave him a tight slap shocking him as well as me.

I covered my mouth with the palm in utter shock. Not that i regret slapping him but i am scared after seeing his facial expressions.

He looked at me with the murderous look while i can see his nerve on forehead popping out in anger and his fist is ready to attack me with the force...

"I...i" i tried to form sentence not knowing whether to ask a sorry or tell him to sign the letters.

Are you out of your mind Vedu? In both the cases, he will kill you...

"Leave..." He said controlling his voice...

"B...but i..." I objected as i want the signatures...

"I said G...E...T  O...U...T" he screamed at top of his voice shaking me to the core...

I immediately turned around and make a small run to the door. As soon as I closed the door behind me, exhale a deep breath but soon heard a thud voice from inside.

I think he throw something in anger...

You should be thankful that its not you whom he threw...my heart chanted to which i hushed...

I walked forward to my cabin as i can't leave the office unless i have the signed resignation letter.

But i didn't understand what he was saying saviour and all? And he said someone else was there trying to moles....

"Ms. Mehta you okay?" Mr. David asked me in concern breaking my thoughts. I was still standing outside his office.

"Umm..yeah.." i said avoiding him.

"But i heard some voices from inside..." He asked me...

"Han, devil apne asli roop m to jo aa gya hai"  i muttered...
{Yes, devil showed his true identity}

"Excuse me?" He asked with a frown...

"I don't know Mr. David. Please check it yourself." I said with a displeasing face.

I started to move but then realised his mobile phone is still with me...

"Mr. David..." I called him turning around who was about to knock the door.

"Yes?" He asked...

"Please return this to Mr. Parker" i said forwarding the phone to which he looked confused but once recognising the owner of the handset, he looked at me to explain. But i ignored him...

Soon he dropped his questioning gaze and nodded his head...

"I hope you are fine now, Ms." He said and now it was my turn to question him.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked him.

"Umm..." He scratched his head as if he revealed something which he shouldn't...

"Mr. David?" I again questioned him.

"Actually i thought after last night fiasco...you would be...." He said while i widened my eyes...

He also knows about last night???

"How do you know about last...last night?" I asked him immediately.

"Umm...i was there with BOSS when he saved you from that man...i was happy that co-incidentally we were there... otherwise i don't know what would have happened..." He confessed while i felt my face pale with the news...

BOSS saved you!!! These words started ringing in my head...

"Ms. Ms...i am sorry... I didn't meant to hurt you in any way by reminding you that..." He said noticing my expressions...

"No...i am fine...Thank you!!!" I said and turned around to hide myself in my cabin.

What blunder i did?
I hit him not once but twice? And when he actually saved me from that hooligan.

Oh my god...

It reminded me what dad used to say...

Incomplete truth is worse than a whole lie...

But what about me in his bed. I want to know the whole truth but i am scared to face him.

I dejectedly walked to my work and engaged myself for rest of the day.

I am so sorry for the short update as well not updating this story.

I have decided to hold this story until i complete my other book which has only 3-4 chapters left.

Reason is as i am unable to focus on any book plus my tight work schedule from last 1.5 month not giving me enough time to write and update.

I hope you guys would understand 🙌
