Kai
(Y/n) POV
-
Walking around the city, it was nice but there were definitely a lot of 'hero's' wandering around the place.
It was pretty obvious as to who was a hero and who wasn't with the wear costumes being a thing.
I did notice the tons of people staring at me, which was sort of confusing since I didn't have my wings or mark showing.
I looked pretty normal compared to most of the people with my dress swaying with my hips and my heels clicking as I walked.
Though while I was walking I felt someone's arms wrap around my legs as I walked past what I thought was an abandoned building.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
I questioned looking down at the girl, she looked scared and hurt.
Since there were wraps around her arms and legs with tears streaming down her face.
"Here let me get that for you love."
I purred healing her wounds and watching her grip tighter on my leg.
"Get back here."
A guy with a plague mask said while the girl held me tighter.
"It's alright sweetheart, you'll be okay."
I praised while she clung with her nails digging softly into my skin.
The man with the plague mask looked rather annoyed as he ran his finger around the edge of his glove.
"I said come on, I mean it."
He said while she went to let go of me, I held her closer to my body and smiled at the guy.
This time I kneeled down to picked her up with one of my arms while I held her closer to me.
At first she buried her face in my neck, her tears streaming down my neckline now before the man cleared his throat.
This caused her to wince slightly against me and stop crying for a moment.
She was half heartedly struggling against me now, though it was obvious she didn't want me to let her go.
"Why don't I accompany you both, it seems you can't get much of a hold on her. And I'm sure you wouldn't mind showing me around the city."
I purred knowing full well the guy was probably a 'villain' that the teachers were talking about.
"My apologies, but we must be going alone."
He said simply while the girl kept holding on to me but she seemed nervous, not for herself but for me.
"I insist, you seem like a gentleman so why would it be a problem?"
I questioned shooting a grin up at the man, he seemed a bit stunned at me but he glared non the less.
"I must be taking her, I won't say it again."
He said while pulling the glove from his hand about half way off and ushering me to put her down.
I held the girl in my arms as I walked closer to him, she seemed terrified now.
But the man gave me one last glare and took his glove fully off.
He sighed rubbing his temple with his gloved hand and then meeting my gaze again.
"Won't you hold my hand then? We wouldn't want you both getting lost, I can show you around in that case."
He said offering me his hand while the girl winced against me.
"Thank you love."
I purred grabbing his hand and intertwining our fingers.
I figured I should have my hand covered in darkness just to be safe, so I covered my palm in it as I held on.
I watched his face burn red now with something that looked like hives on his face, and his grip tightened significantly on my hand.
"Is there something wrong?"
I questioned seeing the visible frustration in the mans eyes.
"No, nothing is wrong. Let's go, shall we?"
He was clearly biting back his tongue as we walked through the alley.
"You aren't from here are you?"
He hissed while his hand seemed to be phasing slightly through mine.
"No I'm not, back home people like you don't exist."
I shrugged while the girl was basically clinging to me for dear life, though she seemed to calm down slightly seeing as I had grabbed his hand and nothing happened to me.
"Back home? And where might that be?"
He questioned seemingly calming down as we walked past a building, I did notice a few men following us now.
"In another world, I believe."
I giggled while he didn't exactly look pleased with my answer.
"So what is your quirk then if I may?"
He questioned half heartedly chuckling with me.
"I don't have one."
I smirked watching his face drop and his eyes narrow on me.
"My turn to ask a few questions, who's this?"
I questioned gesturing to the girl who was still clinging to me, she had calmed down to the point where she wasn't sobbing or digging her nails into me.
"That is Eri, she's my niece."
He admitted while I nodded and felt the men behind me get closer.
I stopped and tugged on his hand lightly now with him giving me a fake confused look.
"Is there something wrong?"
He questioned as I nodded.
I used my free hand to grab his shirt so I could whisper in his ear.
"I assume these are your men following us, if you don't call them off, I will kill all of you in a snap of my fingers."
I whispered to him quiet enough that I knew Eri couldn't hear me but he sure as hell could.
"I'd like to see you try."
He whispered back as the men came closer, Eri definitely heard his response.
I felt her grip tighten on my body as I sighed to myself.
My mark burned on my forehead, my hand covered in darkness and I smirked back at the man.
"You just signed their death note~"
I purred while he raised a brow at me and I walked towards the men.
It was a group of about 20 or so people, give or take.
Mostly men in plague masks who were laughing as I walked towards them.
"What are you going to do little girl? You don't stand a chance."
Eri winced at their words as I ripped through the man.
His body was sliced into 3 times, not mortally wounding him but enough to make him bleed like hell.
"Who's next?"
I giggled watching them all shiver slightly at my words.
"It's just a little girl! We can take her!"
One of them said as they all charged towards me.
I sighed holding Eri a little tighter as I flew up and hovered above them all now.
Diving back down I ripped all of the men to almost shreds, just enough that I could heal them when I was done.
Blood sprayed everywhere as I covered myself and Eri in a darkness ball to avoid the mess.
The darkness faded around us when the blood stopped spraying.
The men all were writhing in pain on the ground now holding their injuries and whaling like dying animals.
I turned to see the original man who looked absolutely terrified now.
"Is there something wrong? I did warn you, so don't blame me."
I shrugged walking back to the man and intertwining our fingers again.
"I'll heal them in a moment, but I'm not exactly the patient type. I don't like it when people threaten me. It was a bit dramatic for my taste so sorry about that, I just wanted to make my point incredibly clear."
I said while he was basically shaking in my grasp.
Once I was done explaining and he kept a wide eyed gaze on me I shrugged and dragged him with me to the men's dying bodies.
"Give me a moment."
I purred as my body glowed for a few moments and the men's injuries healed themselves.
They all stopped screaming now but I slit their Achilles heels after a moment to make sure they couldn't move just to be sure.
They all stayed in the ground now since they all weren't physically capable of running away.
Though I did notice a bystander who was on the phone and was seemingly taking a video of the scene but then calling the police.
I shrugged it off while the man pulled me away from the scene.
"W-what are you?"
He stuttered out as we walked away from the men now through the more crowded parts of the city.
"A devil, I'm glad you finally took notice."
His eyes widened at my words since he definitely seemed to be taking me seriously now.
"I-I see, well it was a pleasure to meet you."
He said clearly trying to get away from the whole situation.
"I don't even know your name."
I purred rubbing Eri's back as my grip tightened on his hand.
"Kai, how about you?"
"(Y/n), the pleasure is mine."
I said letting go of his hand and smiling sweetly back at him.
"Whatever you're doing to this girl, if it happens again I promise you I'll find you and I'll kill you. I don't appreciate her being hurt, and I'll make sure what I did to those men looks like mercy compared to what I will do to you."
I smirked feeling the girls tears stop when she heard my words.
Kai had his eyes wide and his fists clenched now as he looked at me.
His face was flushed red but I couldn't tell if it was from anger or from embarrassment.
"I see, well when can I meet you again anyways? I would like to discuss a few things with you."
He said clearly trying not to sound nervous or stutter during that statement.
"I'll probably be around for a while, I'm sure you'll see me around. I'll leave this girl with you. Though I will say my words are more than a warning, it's a promise."
I purred setting Eri on the street as I kneeled down and looked at the girl.
Her eyes were puffy and her cheeks were still stained with tears.
"You tell me if he does anything bad to you. If you scream, or whine, or make any noise, if you spill any blood I will find you. And I will kill Kai, yea?"
I smiled at the girl who just was looking at me with wide eyes.
She nodded shakily and went back to Kai, she wasn't limping now or shaking nearly as much anymore.
"I'll meet you again soon (y/n), I'm a man of my word."
Kai said back taking Eri's hand and glancing over his shoulder to look at me.
"See you soon Kai, I hope you know you made a deal with the devil."
I giggled waving to the both of them.
The girl at least looked a little less worried now as he grabbed her hand.
"Well that was fun."
Thinking out loud I relaxed with my hands on my head again flying up and resting on a roof top.
"Hey Princess, it's funny seeing you here."
