Vikram's POV

As soon as we reached my home I saw Tamanna sitting on the sofa.

'Hi!' I greeted her and introduced them to each other officially.

'Angel,  if we are together, then you should thank her because she is the main reason of us being together.'

'Thank you, Tamanna,' Angel said softly.

'Ruhani, I hope we will meet some other day and do that get to know each other shit that two people do over a coffee,' Tamanna said and Angel was shocked and I chuckled at her expression.

'Dont worry, she means that someday she will love to have a coffee with you,' I explained to Angel and she was confused.

'Tamanna is like that but I know you will need some time to get used to her. Anyways, where is aunty?' I asked Tamanna.

'As soon as I came she gave me a cold drink and asked me to sit and went to the guesthouse. She said she will come back after some time,' she said and I nodded my head.

'So, I have recorded it and I wanted it to share with you so that my work will be finished and I think they both misunderstood each other,' Tamanna said and my eyes widened in shock but I composed myself and took out my mobile and she send the video in my mobile.

 'Bye. I am getting late,' she said, greeted us goodbye and walked away making me laugh.

This girl is always getting late.

We sat on the sofa.'

'So you know Kabir Shastri?' I asked and she shake her head.

'Of course she was very young to know.

'Because of him our dad drifted apart,' I said and her eyes widened.'

'So few days after I met Tamanna, one day she came to my office and she was very angry as she went in a club and someone named Kabir Shastri was continuously flirting with her,' I said as I remembered the day Tamanna stormed in my office angrily.

'As soon as I heard the name, I was shocked. I asked Tamanna to help me. I asked her to pretend that she is in love with him and make him fall for her to such an extent that he shares everything. I wanted to show your dad that he was wrong and my dad was right but I guess they both fell in the trap of Kabir and misunderstood each other,' I continued.

'Tamanna helped you?' she asked.

'Yes. She helped me and according to her, very few people helped her when she needed and few days back she was in a problem and I saved her and that's how we met,' I said and told her everything about how we met and became friends.

'So she used to come to your office to share with you how the plan is working?' she asked after listening everything.

'Yes.'

'And here I was thinking---'she stopped midway.

'That we are in a relation?' I completed her sentences and she nodded in a 'yes.'

'It's okay, love. It happens sometimes. I also misunderstood many things,' I explained her as I knew she was feeling guilty.

'Anyways, in this video kabir confess everything,' I told and played the video.

( Third person's POV)

'So you love me?' kabir asked Tamanna while they were in a restaurant.

'Of course I do. I was stupid for ignoring such a man like you at the club. Oh, by the way my friend called me and today he is kidnapping someone. I love that fearlessness in him. It takes courage to kidnap someone,' Tamanna said and he smirked.

'I also kidnapped someone,' he said  to impress her so that she could  go to bed with him.

'Really?' she sounded impressed.

'Yes, but I had not tell anyone and I will not yell you,' he said as he had never shared this with anyone.

'We are together for so many days and still you don't trust me. If you don't trust me there is no point of staying together.' She  started leaving but he held her hand. He couldn't let her leave him. He wanted her and he will not stop until she was with him on his bed.

'I know you love me.' He was going to kiss her but she pushed him.

'I told you I need some time,' she said.

He was irritated by her stubborn nature but he did not say anything.

'One kiss,' he pleaded.

'No,' she said firmly.

The first day he saw her in club in that red tight gown which reached up to her thighs ,he was instantly drawn to her and he wanted to have her and then he started  flirting with her but she left the club angrily and maybe that made him chase her more.

'I love how you stick to your decisions,' he said.

'Kidnapping?' she asked irritatingly.

She only knew how hard it was for her to be with him but she was doing it only to help Vikram otherwise she would have never sat with this man in a restaurant.

'Few years back I kidnapped someone with the help of some men.'

'What? Why?' she asked.

'I was jealous as their company was very successful than my company and I wanted to ruin their company and then I came to know they were working on a deal for a long time. If they have sealed the deal with that company they would have earned a huge profit and they would have become more successful than they already were so I kidnapped Akira who was the daughter of Suresh.'

'Suresh?' she asked pretending that she does not know anything even though Vikram gave her a brief information about Rahul, Suresh and their company.

'I am glad you trust me to share this with me,' she said.

'I love you and maybe I should get something for sharing this with you,' he whispered in her ear and she gave him a fake smile.

'Anyways, what happened after you kidnapped Akira?' she asked.

'I kidnapped her and blackmailed Suresh to give the file which contain all the information about that meeting and threatened him that if the file is not in my hands in an hour then I will kill Akira. Suresh did what I said to save his daughter. The next day they lost the deal as the file was missing,' he said and took a sip of his drink.

'Rahul did not believe Suresh and accused him of joining hands with me and asked him that why didn't he asked for the help of police and then Suresh told him that when he got the call, one thing was only in his mind to save his daughter and he had only one hour in his hands to save his daughter. He once again explained him that he did that to save Akira but still Rahul did not believe him and threw him out of the company." He continued.

'How do you know all the things happening in his company?' she asked.

'I had a man in his company who gave me all the information and in return I used to give him money.'

'That man knew about your plan?' she asked.

'No. He was just an informer for me. He didn't knew anything. And few years after Suresh left, that man  was diagnosed with lung cancer and died in few months.'

'Okay. You were not afraid that Suresh would tell police,' Tamanna asked.

'Suresh had no proof that I kidnapped Akira.'

'Akira was the proof, Akira would have given the statement that someone kidnapped her,' She said.

'No. She never knew she was kidnapped. With the help of chloroform I made her unconscious and kidnapped her and by the time she woke up she was safe in her room sleeping on her bed as I got what I wanted from Suresh.'

'I am impressed,' Tamanna said with a fake smile.

'Rahul would have believed Suresh if I had not sent him the video.'

'What video?' she asked, almost shouted.

'I send some pictures on Rahul's mobile from a new sim where me and Suresh were having a drink---

'Suresh was having drink with you?' she asked cutting him off.

'Yes, I asked him to take a drink otherwise I will not let him take Akira and one of my men clicked pictures but he didn't knew about it. In that picture we were having a drink like best friends,' he confessed.

'Okay. Then?' she asked.

'As I was saying I sent the pictures to Rahul from a new sim and asked him to see the pictures and throw the mobile as if anyone other than him knows about the picture his family will be harmed and then I destroyed the sim and also threw the mobile, so that he would not be able to call or trace my number. I knew that family was Rahul's weakness and I used his weakness in my favour and he did not tell anyone about the pictures and Rahul and Suresh drifted apart."

'You knew if Rahul showed this video to anyone then eventually misunderstanding between them would have been cleared,' Tamanna said.

'Yes their wives were friends and if Rahul's wife knew then she would have told this to Suresh wife and eventually truth would have come out,' Kabir said and took a sip of his drink.

'But I did not understand one thing why you wanted to create misunderstanding between Rahul and Suresh?" she asked.

'I always knew if their friendship and partnership was broken then eventually their company will go down and I was right, after that Rahul lost most of the deals and I got them. By pulling that stunt I got the file and I created rift among them. Now for the lifetime Suresh will believe his best friend did not trust him and Rahul will believe that Suresh joined hand with rival company.'

'Really, you played a very nice game. I must say I am impressed,' she said giving him a fake smile.

'You don't think that I at least need one kiss for my smartness,' he asked.

'Shit! I am getting one important call and I have to leave. Sorry,' she said and the video ends.

'Where is kabir now?' she asked.

'When we were at your house, you know that Tamanna called me, right?' I asked and she nodded in a 'yes.'

'Tamamna told me that yesterday he died in a car accident. I wanted to show this recording to police and get that bastard arrested as he kidnapped Akira but he died. That bastard was drinking and driving and he fuck!ng died,' I shouted angrily and clenched my fists.

I was very angry that he died and I was not able to pay him for destroying my family and kidnapping my sister. Angel held my hand in her and unclenched my fists.

'My dad should have trusted Suresh uncle when he said that Akira was kidnapped by Kabir,' She said and I hinted sadness in her voice.

'But I do not blame your dad, Angel. They both were trapped in the net of cheatings and misunderstanding kabir threw,' I said.

'Yes. That's also right,' she replied back.

'I think that it's nobody's fault. Now when your parents will be back from kashmir, I will ask my mom and dad to come to Pune and we will make them sit together and watch the video and I hope everything will be solved and our families will be united,' I said and she was quietly listening to me.

'I never thought of all this plan but as you were always saying your dad was not wrong, so I got angry and I wanted to prove to you that your dad is wrong and when Tamanna said about Kabir, I thought of the plan and did all this with the help of Tamanna but I am happy I did as now both families can be together again,' I confessed everything going in my mind.

'What happened after you left Pune?' she asked.

'The day we were going to Bangalore, we met in an accident, dad was paralysed, grandmother died and then mom worked in a small hospital as a nurse to earn for family for few years because as soon as I was twenty one my mom's brother, my uncle took me under his protection and taught me how to handle a company. He had no family ,and he loved his company, he always used to say that if something happens to him I should handle his company.
After few years he died and I came to know through his lawyer that he had written in his will that if something happens to him then the company will be mine. He used to treat me as his own son and I will be always thankful to him. If it was not for him mom had to work for some more years till I establish myself,'  I told her everything.

'Is your dad okay now?' she asked.

'Yes, after continuous treatments now he is fine, it took him few years to recover  but now he is okay,' I told her.

'I am so sorry about your grandm---'

'I don't want to talk about her,' I said cutting her off.

'Why? Why you always avoid my questions?' she asked.

'I will tell you everything and I also want you to share everything with me,' I said as I wanted her to share everything with me and she nodded in a 'yes.'

'But, first lets have our dinner,' I said and we had our dinner and after so many days uncle and aunty were having dinner with us.

When angel left, I used to have meals in my office and they used to have their meals in the guesthouse.

After having dinner, we went to our room.

She stopped on her tracks as we came in front of my room.

'You will not leave this room and this house ever,' I said as I knew she was remembering the time she left the house.

'This is the first time I am entering the room since the day you left,' I said.

'What? she asked.

'I used to sit and sleep in office room as these room always reminded me of you,' I said.

'Sorry that you have to sit and sleep on bench for all these days,' she apologized.

'Even though sleeping on bench was really hard and tiring but still it was okay but eating that burger everyday was worst and I swore that I will not have burger for the next few years.

'It is not okay, I know how hard it is to sleep on a bench,' she said.

'Baby, I used to just lie down on bench baby but sleep never came to me. The last time I slept the whole night was when I was with you.'

'What?' she asked.

'Yes. I never sleep at night because of the nightmares. I used to sleep in the morning  from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and work all night. First time I slept whole night was when I was with you. But when you were not beside me, again nightmares haunted me so I never slept,' I told her the truth.

'What nightmares?'

'Sit. I will tell you everything,' I said and we both sat on the bed and I opened my shirt.

'These scars on my body are given by my grandmother,' I opened the chapter of my life which I had closed and buried in the corner of my heart for all these years.
