"Adam.."I whispered as I felt his hands slide up my shoulders making my entire body tremble..

He placed one hand behind my neck while his other hand held on to my waist bringing me closer to him..if that was possible for we were already pressed tightly against each other..

"What are you doing to me?" he whispered in my ear before   placing little kisses on my neck..what was I  doing to him??

What was he doing to me!!I felt weak in my legs and was thankful for his hands holding me..my stomach seemed to be doing little flip flops and my head was spinning..

" Krysta!!!!" I heard someone shout..I didn't even have to turn to know it was Lorna..This girl had horrible timing!!

I immediately pulled away from Adam as I felt my cheeks heat up..How much did she see??

"What were you doing to her??"Lorna questioned angrily..

Adam just continued to stare at me as if he were lost..and wasn't even sure what had just happened..

" You were going to bite her weren't you?"Lorna accused..

Bite me??if that was how it felt when you're being bitten from a vampire I wouldn't mind being bitten..though I was pretty sure he wasn't going to bite me..

She didn't wait for an answer as she grabbed my hand and was literally dragging me back to the dance..

"How many times do I have to tell you stay away from Adam..he is dangerous Krysta..you were supposed to be looking for the prince of good vampires not doing whatever that was with the prince of bad vampires!!!"

I heard this speech about a million times before..but when it came to Adam I just loose control..if only Lorna could understand that..who was I kidding ,even I didn't understand my feelings for Adam how could I expect her to understand..

"How did it go with Leon??"I asked trying to distract her,or else she would just continue to go on and on..

It seemed to be working since she suddenly stopped talking and seemed to be deep in thoughts..

"Hello!!"I said trying to get her attention..

"Oh..umm..it went okay..we're just friends you know!!"

"When did I ever say you were more than friends!!"I said teasing her,smiling triumphantly as I saw her face turn red..

"Oh.." was all she managed to say.

I was about to make some silly comment when I saw Adam walk in..I could of sworn my heart picked up pace and I stopped breathing for a second..How did he have such an effect on me??

His eyes turned to me for a brief second but he immediately looked away..was he trying to avoid me now??

I continued to stare at him until I saw Zilda wrap her arms around his neck..I narrowed my eyes as I felt anger..more like jealousy inside me..

All that happened between us..did that mean nothing to him??Was he just playing me??.and why the hell did I care??

"Krysta are you okay..you look a little pale?"Lorna asked sounding worried..

"I'm fine..I think its time I start looking for the prince."

If Adam didn't care about what we had..which even I wasn't sure about..why should I??It was time I started looking for the good prince..Whether I liked it or not he was my soul mate and together we were supposed to save this kingdom..

Though I wasn't sure what I needed to save this kingdom from..everything seemed to be perfectly fine..everyone seemed to get along..well so far..

"The prince??are you serious??"Lorna asked happily..

"Yes I'm serious..but how do I know its him Lorna??"

"Just dance with a few boys..if he is in this party then he would be just as attracted to you as you are to him.."

The only boy I was attracted to in this party was Adam..the bad vampire..which seemed so weird to me..why did the good Prince and bad Prince have the same name??..and why was I attracted to the bad one..even though I haven't even met the good one.

"May I have this dance??"

I looked up to see some guy dressed in black..with black hair and dark eyes..eyes that seemed extremely scary..

I was about to say no when Lorna cut in..

"She would love too.."

I looked at Lorna accusingly.. but she just narrowed her eyes as if to say you must do this..

With a quick sigh I placed my hands in his..as he led me towards the dance floor I could feel Adam's eyes following my every movement and I couldn't help but smile ..good he deserved this for avoiding me and acting like there was nothing between us..

"I'm James..you're Krysta the human right??"my partner asked..

Wow..even his voice was scary it sent chills up my spine..

"Umm..yeah..the human!"I said dryly..

Was that what everyone referred to me as,the human??

"Its a pleasure to finally meet you..our kind has heard a lot about you"

"Your kind?"I asked with a raised eyebrow..

" Yeah..bad vampires.. you're supposed to kill us right?"he said holding me tighter as if to hurt me..

I immediately tried to pull away but he wouldn't let go..

"I'm not feeling too well..can you please let go off me?"I begged..already afraid..

"I'm sorry princess..you aren't getting away that easily..but since you aren't feeling well how about I carry you outside for some fresh air.."

Okay..I was definitely in trouble now..I looked around for Lorna frantically as I was forcefully being dragged outside by James..if that was even his real name!!

"Let go off me!!"I screamed as soon as we were outside..

"Sure..if that is what you want princess!!"

With that being said he pushed me down on the ground..I could feel tears in my eyes as I felt pain in my knees..

"Please don't hurt me," I begged..yes I had powers..but I had absolutely no idea how to use it..I wasn't even sure what powers I had..

I closed my eyes and waited for impact..but none came..instead I heard James scream out in pain!!!

Why was James in pain??
