ADAM'S POV:

"Adam!"King Charm shouted for the third time trying to get my attention.

I couldn't think, couldn't see anything but Krysta unconscious in my arms.

"Krysta!No!"I cried in horror, I was loosing her.

"Please!Please, please stay with me."I begged.

She was immobile as stone , a carving under my hand.The colour slowly leaving her cheeks, with each passing second I grew more and more afraid.

There was a hand on my shoulders now, King Charm.

"Dad!"I cried out in agony, totally unaware that I had called him dad for the first time."Please save her, please save my Krysta."I was sobbing uncontrollably, broken sobs.

I couldn't loose her, couldn't live without her but I didn't know what to do!

"You have to bite her Adam."

I looked up with startled and confused eyes at him, his face was drawn, staring at me, twisted into a mask of indecision and pain.

"Bite her?"

"Yes, that way you will be bonded and she will be healed."he explained ."You must do it now."he added sensing my hesitation.

I looked down at her, my mind mixed with fear and determination, if this was the only way to save her, then I will do it.

Krysta's POV:

I screamed as I felt a pair of fangs digging into my throat, my eyes fluttering open, desperate to find Adam's perfect face.And I found him, his head bent over, his cold lips pressed against my skin, not biting me anymore, his lips just remained there on my neck as if to soothe the pain, which was now gone, replaced by pleasure.

I felt my consciousness coming back, power raged within me and I felt noticeably stronger.We were bonded.

"Adam."I whispered.

"Krysta."He breathed a sigh of relief , holding my cheeks in his hands.His voice rich with triumph and joy as he raised up to stare at me.His eyes still wide with shock, a little bit of fear and love, love for me.

"I love you so much."he added as he placed a kiss on my forehead.

"I love you too Adam."

And that's when it happened—

I felt myself being lifted from the ground, I heard Adam catch his breath and noticed for the first time that I had something attached to my back, I placed my hands behind me and my eyes widened in shock....wings!

Why on earth did I have wings on my back?Not just any wings, beautiful white ones, alot similar to those that Chloe and Joe had!!And then it came back to me, the conversation Lorna and I had a few days ago, that I was an angel.Could it be true?

What did this mean?

I could see everyone staring at me, no one fighting anymore, just staring at me wide-eyed, some in awe, others in shock.

"Angel!"someone whispered and I noticed that voice immediately ,Lorna.

I looked down and she was watching me in amazement, Leon and other witches by her side.

I didn't waste anytime, the enemy was in shock and I used this opportunity to my advantage.

"ATTACK!"I shouted.

Everyone was motionless for a second but then quickly obeyed my command.I used my wings to swirl up some of the vampires and witches in the air and then used it to attack the wolves.

We were winning the fight!

We continued fighting and after a few minutes it was clear that we had won the battle, all of our enemies retreating, some already trying to escape.

I landed on my feet to find Adam staring at me with pride and fascination, I looked up at him and smiled shyly.

"You look beautiful."he whispered and I blushed.

"Noooooooooo I must win this fight!"Kyle screamed behind us running in with his sword in hand, my eyes widened and my heart jumped as I realised what he was about to do.He was going to stab Adam!

But he didn't get a chance too—

"Aaaaah!"he shrieked in pain as a sword went straight through his heart.He dropped to the ground, holding his heart in shock, looking behind him to see who had stabbed him, everyone gasped as we realised who did it, Dylan??His brother!

I felt Adam stiffen besides me but he quickly recovered as he rushed over to Dylan who looked like he wasn't sure what he had done either.

"You killed him?"Adam asked in disbelief."He is your brother."

He shook his head."No Adam, you are my one and only brother and will always be."

I smiled and for the first time realised that Prince Dylan wasn't so bad after all, he had a heart unlike Kyle.

He walked over to me smiling."Promise me you would take care of Adam."

"I promise."I said beaming up at him.

Adam chuckled behind us."I don't need protection."he complained.

I rolled my eyes at him, remembering the last time he had said he didn't need protection.He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me planting a kiss on my cheeks.

My wings were gone now and I wondered when would it show up again, but for now I didn't care, I had Adam , Lorna, Prince Dylan , King Charm and Queen Lilina, together we could be one big happy family.

"I really want to kiss you right now."Adam whispered against my ears, soft enough for me alone to hear .I felt my cheeks heat up and my heart beat accelerate,would I ever be able to control the way he makes me feel?I didn't think so but at the same time I didn't care.

I loved Adam and I loved what he did to me, loved everything about him and couldn't wait to start a life with him.

Adam's POV:

"Thank you for saving my life today brother."

I said looking at Dylan, he smiled and hit me on my back playfully.

"That's what brothers do, you would of done it for me also."he replied grinning.

I grinned in return."Are you sure about that brother?"I questioned trying to look as serious as possible.

He laughed."I'm positive ,now go back to the love of your life, I can see you're already craving her presence."he teased.

I scowled at him but knew he was right, after nearly loosing her today I could barely stand a second away from her."You know pretty soon you'll be craving someone's company also."I teased.

He froze."That's not funny."he muttered.

I laughed."That wasn't meant to be a joke, something tells me you'll be even more protective with her than I'm with Krysta."I teased again but knew that was probably impossible for I was already over protective of Krysta and doubted someone could be even more protective.

He looked lost for a minute then shook his head."No, that's not possible."he said doubtfully."Now go."he muttered pushing me out the door.

I held up my hands in surrender."Fine I'm going."

I stepped out my room and knocked on the door right next to mines, Krysta's room.

It opened on the first knock, as though she was waiting for me and I smiled at that knowledge.

"Hi."she whispered.

"Hi ."I replied .

She stepped aside for me to enter and I shut the door behind us.

As soon as the door was closed she ran to me and hugged me tightly, almost knocking me off my feet.

I chuckled at her enthusiasm to see me."I guess you're happy to see me."I murmured against her hair.

"Yes."she whispered , pulling back blushing.I loved when she blushed, she always looked more beautiful than she already was.

"Tell me what you are thinking."I said watching her intently.

She blushed again and shook her head.

I cocked my head to the side wondering what she was thinking."Tell me or I'll tickle it out of you."I warned.

She gasped and giggled against my shirt."I was thinking about what you had said earlier today."

I quirked an eyebrow, what could she be talking about?

"Sweetheart I've said so many things today, what exactly are you talking about?"I questioned and she looked away.

""You said you wanted to kiss me."she mumbled hiding her face in my shirt.

I chuckled."Oh sweet Krysta."I whispered kissing her hair , I placed my hands under her chin and tilted her face so that she was looking up at me nervously."I always want to kiss you.

And there was that sweet blush again.

I leaned closer, inhaling, she smelt so sweet and delicious and then I did what I was waiting to do for a long time.I kissed her.

With deliberate slowness my hands slid down the sides of her neck making her moan , I shivered and groaned in response.

I moved away from her lips, my face drifting to the side as my nose skimmed across her collarbone and I planted soft kisses on her neck and along her jaw.She moaned again as I held my breath.I loved her reaction to me.

At the exact moment where I thought I wouldn't be able to stop the door flew open.

"Krysta—oh God, I'm so sorry."Lorna mumbled with a gasp.

"Ah."I sighed.Lorna!

Krysta's POV:

I heard Adam sigh as Lorna barged into the room, Lorna really did have bad timing.

She was blushing scarlet and I tried not to laugh at both her and Adam's expression.

"What is it?"I asked trying to step away from Adam's embrace but he refused to let me go .

"Um..well the king and queen are planning a ball and your engagement party at the same time so—"

"Engagement party?"Adam and I shouted at the same time.

Lorna laughed at us."Don't worry you two its just the engagement, the wedding wouldn't take place until a few years."she promised.

I smiled, we were getting engaged!And then married.That day was going to be the happiest day of my life , I was sure.

I couldn't wait.

Hi everyone:).I'm so sorry I took so long to update but thank you for waiting:D.

So this is pretty much the end of the story.I'm still deciding whether I'll write another chapter so that Krysta's parents could explain to her that they were really her foster parents but not sure as yet .Since then everyone would want to know about her real parents and that would be another story!

OF course there would be an epilogue so that's definitely coming up if I decide there isn't going to be another chapter.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who read this book , its my first story and I'm very happy it got over 5000 reads!:D
