When Chase has arrived back home, Everest was also here and just finished making a very fancy dinner which caused him to gulp in little worry. Gladly, Everest read his mind and laughed in response.

Everest: Chill out, I won't take you from my bestie! I just want to have a little celebration for all recent events, especially the last one that happened.

Chase: Oh... hehe, ok. Let me redress and take a shower.

Everest: Sure!

5 minutes later

Chase and Everest were sitting at the dinner table, enjoying some grilled fish with spaghetti and drinking wine. The anthro Husky was very happy after Skye's call, when she was told that the anthro Shepherd was going to hang out with her on Sunday.

Everest: Honestly... I was really hoping for this moment! And it was a wise decision to accept her offer.

Chase: It was also a wise decision from my Chief to give me a break.

Everest (laughs): True! Anyway, as I'm her bestie, you can tell me how will you spend time with her?

Chase: Well... I don't know. I'm pretty new in New York, don't forget that.

Everest: Shoot, I forgot about this. 

Chase: And Skye promised me that she'll show me the city.

Everest: Ohh, nice. Well *raises the glass* for the successful case with children and with Skye. Cheers!

Chase: Haha *raises the glass* cheers!

The next day

It was already 10:30 a.m on the clock as Everest was watching news about shoot-out in the nightclub, it didn't take too much time to realize that it was connected about the case which Chase was solving. Chase though at this time, has finished eating breakfast and made coffee before coming up to his roommate.

Chase: Connor was there.

Everest: Really?

Chase: He and Sweetie were rolling this business with babies, but now she's out of the game.

Everest: Why she always gets in bad companies? It's insane!

Chase: Yeah... but I really want to shake these out of my mind. And I need your help.

Everest: I'm all ears.

Chase: Do you know any good shopping centers? I know that my time-spending with Skye is not a date... but I still want to get a fresh look.

Everest: My, my! That's the talk! Take the car, let's roll!

Soon, the duo was driving back into the center of New York as the anthro Husky decided to find some nice clothes in the World Trade Center - one of the biggest shopping malls in the world. The police officer didn't mind with that, but was actually pretty concerned about taking his own car because of the bad guys, who might identify him.

Everest: Hey! You're new in New York. Do you think they're thinking about you like a big problem? Well, you are a big problem for bad guys, but not on this occasion. Come on!

Chase sighed from such tone, not too long before going separate ways, he recongnized her as an older sister and it was making him even more happy that he managed to find her first. Few moments later, the duo was walking around the center as the anthro Husky was telling some stories about this place.

Everest: It's actually a new building which has been built few years ago. Before that, there were two tower-twins. But they got destroyed by terrorists.

Chase: I think it was a mega tragedy.

Everest: There's a memorial about this tragic day when it happened. You and Skye should visit it.

Chase: Ok... Anyway, where should we start to find my new clothes?

Everest: Are you ok in financial plan?

Chase: Yup!

Everest: Then be ready for a long shopping!

Chase's face went deadpanned. It meant that they could hang out in this shopping for hours! Still, he was ready for that to give some impression on Skye, so he followed Everest wherever she went.

3.5 hours later

Chase and Everest went through many brands to find some fancy clothes: Tommy Hilfiger, Armani, Levi's, Marc O'Polo and so on. They tried on many shirts, pants, jackets and even shoes. Still, the anthro Shepherd also wanted to have some sport clothing, so brand shops of Addidas, Puma, Nike and New Balance were also visited. When they have finished, they were mega satisfied - they managed to find some good matches for each event and more though, Chase picked up the outfit for tomorrow's hang out with Skye: navy blue shirt with white pants.

Everest: Sheesh! Now you look like a true New York citizen!

Chase: Damn, I didn't even know that I was so out of fashion and trands. I'm feeling refreshed.

Everest: I bet this refreshment will help you with Connor's case too.

Chase: Ohh, definitely! Thanks, sis!

Everest: Awwwwww, you're welcome, lil' brother.

Then they hugged each other before going to the cafe for lunch and driving back to their home.
