*Yash Pov*

"Nev! I am going to the vegetable market. Will you come with me?" I asked, finishing my breakfast and she looked at me with her eyebrow raised.

"To a vegetable market?" she asked and I nodded frowning.

"Fine!" she mumbled, shaking her head and finished her food before getting up along with me.

"If you have any important work here, you need not come." I suggested when I saw her still frowning.

"Here? Totally! I have so important work that I am so tired talking to everyone, every second." She said shaking her head dramatically.

"Woah! Someone is in a bad mood." I mumbled to which she glared at me and shook her head stepping out the house before I could even take the bike keys.

"Why are you taking her with you? I told you to stay away from her, right?" Mom asked and I turned to see her with a frown.

"We are living in the same house and it won't be good if everyone ignores her, right?" I asked her back, shaking my head and turned only to take a step back.

I opened my mouth, but couldn't say a word seeing Nev looking at me with a fuming expression.

"Shall we go?" she asked and again walked outside with me following her.

"Nev! I know it seems like a stupid thing to say, but it was just that Mom is behind me..." I couldn't finish it, when she again glared at me.

"Shut up! And let's go." She said and I nodded, getting on the bike with her following my suite.

Until we reached the market, she just stopped me whenever I opened my mouth to say something making me feel irritated for not being able to explain why I said that.

"You know, you are doing absolutely correct and a great thing. I mean, who would bear to be in my presence just because their family name won't get a bad name?" she asked, smirking and I immediately held her hands before she could walk away.

"I said that to stop Mom from bugging me for being with you." I said and she frowned at me.

"Don't you have enough dare to tell her that you want to be with me?" she asked and I sighed at her question.

"You don't understand. I really love my family and wouldn't want to create any troubles and something to disturb the peace." I explained.

"I can take your words in a wrong way like are you saying I disturbed it but I am not going to because I understood your closeness with the family." She said smiling and I smiled back feeling good that she didn't misunderstand.

"Why are you so calm?" I asked on my half way to finish.

"Didn't you like coming here?" I added to which she gave a shocked look.

"Of course I liked it! I mean what a wonderful place to bring a girl. There is just good everywhere. Why don't you put this in my hair and make it romantic?" she said holding a cauliflower.

"It is just stupidity of others to cross you any moment." I said grinning at her.

"I know! So, be aware." She said winking and we finished the shopping with her just walking beside me.

"So, this is how you buy vegetables. Everything is okay, except the path in which we had to walk." She said, shivering and I laughed, looking at her heels where a few thrown vegetables are stuck making the color change.

"Of course, everything will be ok. I did all the shopping and even held the bags. What did you do?" I asked shaking my head and placed the bags to the bike.

"I entertained you in which you always fail." She replied and I turned to see her shrugging.

"Shall we go?" I asked getting on my bike and started it when she settled.

"Are you virgin?" she suddenly asked making me stop the bike in shock and we both got jerked.

"Can't you see and drive?" I heard someone shouting, but I ignored him before turning around to see her shocked face.

"Is that how you drive?" she asked, shaking her head.

"What did you ask?" I asked, ignoring her question.

"Did you like the question too much that you want to hear it again? I know all this happened because you heard it." She replied rolling her eyes.

"No to your answer." I said, staring at her.

"How did that happen?" she asked with shocked look.

"How means? It happened normally. What are you even asking and what am I even saying?" I mumbled, shaking my head and started the bike.

"Wait! You can't leave. I need to talk to you." She demanded, stopping me when I started walking towards the kitchen.

I thought, she left the topic when she was silent during the drive, but seems like she never leaves a point.

"Fine! I will keep these in the kitchen and come near you." I said to which she nodded before walking away.

"What happened, Yash? You seem to be angry." Lakshmi asked when I nearly threw everything on the floor.

"Ask your sister. Couldn't you have got a little less demanding sister?" I asked, to which she gave a shocked and then confused look.

"Forget it!" I mumbled, walking away towards Nev's room and entered it to see her pacing before her bed.

"I am glad you are here. Now, tell me how did hat happen? I mean, how did your family allowed it?" she asked excitedly.

"I studied in a hostel for graduating and dated a few." I replied when she ignored my glare.

"Wow! A few means how many?" she asked, frowning in the end.

"Two!" I replied and she laughed.

"Two is a few?" she asked and laughed more.

"Ok! Then why are you getting married with your family selecting for you? Can't you go and date and then settle?" she asked after a few minutes.

"I am just busy everyday with work and then house. If I even like someone, then she must be liked by each member otherwise the whole family will be in disturbance. Why do I need this headache? So, I left the decision for them." I replied shrugging.

"And I didn't met the prospective bride till now." I added to which she stared at me with open mouth.

"Prospective bride? You are giving too much to yourself." She said, shaking her head with narrowed eyes.

"Are you really going to insult me? Because I insult you back." I said, glaring at her.

"Didn't you already?" she asked, rolling her eyes.

"Fine! What do you wish in your so called prospective bride?" she asked in a serious tone.

"Well, suitable for me and my family..." I started to say to which she gave a bitter look.

"Are you going to marry her or your whole family? Leave all those and give me personal details. Like her height, habits,nature, etc..." she explained and I nodded understanding her question.

"Fine! I want a short girl." I said and she frowned at me.

"Why short girl?" she asked frowning.

"Well, short girls are best to be hugged and we can make them hear our heart beat anytime." I replied to which she raised her eyebrow.

"Social site quote?" she asked, shaking her head and I grinned at her.

"I didn't find any advantages for tall girls. You are a tall girl right? Tell me one advantage?" I asked, smirking to which she smirked back, making me frown at her immediately.

"Why not? It is my duty to tell you the choices. I mean a life decision is not a small thing." She replied, getting up and closed the door.

"I just didn't want anyone to think wrong. Get up and stand before me." She added when I glanced at the door in confusion.

"Do I have to?" I asked, sighing not knowing what she is up to now.

"Well, you wish to know an advantage right?" she asked back and I rolled my eyes standing before walking near to her while watching her smirking at me completely.

"Well, if you marry or date a tall girl then this can happen." She said before hugging me and waited for me to hug her back.

"What is there in this?" I asked, laughing at her other antics.

"Don't laugh!" she suddenly whispered in my ear, brushing her lips making my laugh stop in the middle.

"Very good!" she whispered again and I gave an awkward chuckle before gulping feeling my hair raising.

"And?" I whispered back in her ear to which she stilled, but moved more towards me.

"Well, she can do this." She mumbled pressing her lips on my neck.

"She definitely can." I mumbled repeating her actions feeling like I fell into something unconscious state with no power on what I am even doing.

"Did you like them?" she suddenly asked, moving back to stare at me.

"Kisses?" I asked her clearing my throat.

"No! The advantages." She replied smiling.

"Maybe!" I mumbled smiling back.

"Then how about this?" she asked crashing her lips to mine making me still but I kissed her back not giving her a chance to dominate it and pushed her to the door.

"Damn! You kiss good." She mumbled to which I chuckled and kissed her more tugging her hair while moving my hands over to her hips.

"Yash! Your Uncle is asking you to reach shop soon to receive the orders." We suddenly heard my Mom's voice and we moved away from each other in shock.

She stared at me in shock and then laughed, holding her stomach. While I still stared at her with shock before controlling my breathing.

"Go! Your Uncle is calling you." She said, moving away from the door while adjusting her shirt and hair, making me look at her in shock not believing I did all that.

"But don't forget to think about this." She said when I stepped out of her room making me stop.

"About advantages." She added, winking, and I shook my head climbing down the stairs still thinking about our kisses and what would have happened if we didn't hear Mom's voice.
