Whatever it takes - Imagine Dragons

"Jeongguk, you're up."

The ravenette looks up, seeing Hoseok with his clipboard as he moves around the locker room quickly while searching for the other players. Jeongguk instantly gets to his feet on the skates with the guards on, soothing out his body suit and walks out of the locker room and towards the rink.

With his hearing aids in hand.

When he approaches the dashboard, before he steps out to go to the ice, he looks around with troubling eyebrows furrowed. He definitely sees familiar skaters, a lot of people sitting on the bleachers in preparation for the competition. Even a few paparazzi's are here to capture moments to share with the world.

Yet despite so many faces, Jeongguk only searches for one as he continues to look around before suddenly being surprised by hands around his waist pulling him into a tight embrace.

And an artificial smile forms on his face, quickly turning around to see the familiar girl standing there with an excited smile.

There she is.

"Kick ass!" Lalisa signs, making Jeongguk's own smile widen in giddiness, "You got this!"

Now feeling much more motivated, Jeongguk nods and leans to press a peck on her cheek while also trusting her with his hearing aids and skating guards. Lalisa blushes a bit but only waves at him before stepped back just as he pushes himself onto the ice.

Loud series of cheers and hollers is what Jeongguk assumes is echoing around him now, but all he did was get to his place with the other skaters while exchanging smiles here and there to finally have this day come after these hard weeks of overworking themselves.

To finally be able to show what they have practiced.

There's a few news reporters here, so definitely displaying his image with Lalisa was a must, something Hoseok has stressed out enough to just look the part. Well, for Jeongguk he doesn't really have to be told so much since lately these days, or weeks, him and Lalisa have been growing more comfortable around each other to.... You know.... Act like that.

It's starting to feel kinda normal after a while of doing it for so long. Now they hang out without anyone telling them to, find themselves texting one another after practices and until late at night. Sometimes Jeongguk would even sleep over at her room - well not by choice because initially they would be talking about something and soon sleep would settle in.

Point is, no one really has to beg them to act like a couple.

They just do that naturally now.

And.... It felt really nice.

She's been one of his greatest inspirations and motivations to do well on the ice, after the whole Jimin with incident. She said that shit happens in life but to stay focused on what drives him, his passion. It was a bit difficult at first, since Jimin is all Jeongguk could really think about, but Lalisa filled in that void whenever they would stay after practice to train together and form new memories together.

By the third week, Jeongguk stopped thinking about Jimin, his focus returning back to skating and his drive for it that he has lost touch with.

Now he's here, getting himself prepared for the race with a determined smirk on his lips.

The adrenaline cruised all over his body, breathing heavy, now in position, Jeongguk just stares at the fresh ice ahead.

And before he knew it, from the corner of his eyes, he sees a skater just about to take his first step. Means the whistle must've blown.

It has started.

With quick speed and determination, Jeongguk dashes across the ice, leaving a great majority of skaters behind. Practice did end up coming out in handy for him; he became faster, stronger, and mentally driven. His confidence is boosted. Using the form he learned from Hoseok to start doing to make him faster, he was flying around the ice in speed and he felt it in himself that he was doing well.

He felt faster, running with so much turbo that it actually made him smile as he takes on the curve. A few skaters tried to get in front of him - tired - but that was so much more motivation for him to quicken up his pace as he takes on that curve again.

Now more focused to feeling himself go to maximum speed for the race, Jeongguk skates through it to the final curve, feeling the tingles over his thighs and arms with his feet pushing against the ice with the finish line ahead of him. A few skaters have went flying after that curve for their poor posture or inability to handle the speed, but Jeongguk was still and focused just as he managed to escape it.

Eyes ahead, where he sees someone with their own skates standing there a few feet behind the finish line.

Lalisa?

What is she doing?

Jeongguk's face coils, confused, but he sees how she's excitedly jumping and waving her hands in enthusiasm the second they made eye contact.

Motivating him to finish.

This must've been a plan formed by the coaches, just to show a cute gesture or something for the crowd of the most famous couple here.

No doubt about that.

So twitching a smile now, that grows wider and wider with his every stride, he skates towards her. She has her arms open, smile reaching her cheeks as she embraces herself. Jeongguk skates faster, giggling to her before he starts to run.

He didn't even know when he passed the finish line, maybe already did because Lalisa cheers with fists moving in the air. Jeongguk's smile is reaching his eyes now, spreading his arms and tries to slow himself down just as he got himself close enough to her, wrapping his arms around her waist. Lalisa jumps on him, legs around his torso and arms around his shoulders, laughing as Jeongguk cheers with her to his victory win.

His third win of the day, and the damn best one yet.

"Congrats kid," Were the words she mouth towards him, making him feel like he's floating on cloud nine, "Please don't drop me or I will actually-"

Jeongguk caresses a stand of hair behind her hair and leans, boldly placing his lips over hers.

He didn't have to hear the cheers to know they were there, or how the paparazzi's are definitely going insane flashing pictures towards the juicy story.

This is not exactly something that was not discussed between them, more so well planned.

Before the event today, Hoseok and Lalisa's coach said they had to show something more convincing. Anything. Ever since Jimin left, rumors occurred that the two - him and Jeongguk - had a break up and Lalisa and Jeongguk's dating scandle would end.

So they have to show to them that they're dating and it wasn't fake for publicity, and lastly that Jeongguk was never in some secret relationship with Jimin.

They expected this to happen sometime today, just didn't know when.

And Jeongguk took the advantage of this opportunity to do it, here on the ice, in front of the world.

Lalisa's hands on his shoulders traces to his neck, smiling in between the kiss before they pulled away, soft smiles reflecting one another.

"Oh you're so dead," Lalisa mouths with her strain smile now, "You're damn lucky we're on the ice right now."

"Act like you love me and we can discuss my funeral later," Jeongguk mouths back with his own strained smile, making the two giggle to each other as the crowd roars in cheers.

And as strange as it is..... Jeongguk is starting to like this form of normal.

A lot.

Heavenly - Cigarettes After Sex

"How are you feeling after today's session?"

Trembling and barely able to even breathe, Jimin just remains sitting on the chair with knees to his chest and blotchy cheeks from his fresh tears. Lips coil in a frown, eyes swollen by his heavy emotional break down earlier, but he tried to keep himself together despite how badly he couldn't stop himself from letting a few sobs out out his weak lips.

He refuses to answer, looking away in his sign of denying it.

The therapist sighs, dropping their head to once again not hearing anything from him as his views of the session, "Okay, we'll just end it for today. I'll call you for the next appointment."

Jimin didn't even wait a second longer, only gets up and nearly tumbles over his feet by how badly his legs are quivering but pushes himself to get out of the room quickly with an arm to his lips to control the way his tears are threatening to spill while not making a noise.

This is nothing new that happens whenever Jimin comes out of his session, no matter how much time has passed already. He always comes out as a mess, and it's not because his therapist does anything bad, he's great actually, and that's the problem.

The more Jimin allows himself to talk about things, very deep memories, the more his inner emotions has escaped to things he's kept inside for years.

And that shit isn't some walk in the park, it fucking hurt.

Admiting and hearing himself talk about things he's never shared to great detail with anyone, it hurts like hell and as though he's reliving those moments all over again.

Jimin promised himself to not open up so much when he starts attending his sessions, but Dr. Kang Yeosang just knows how to get to him since the first day. He makes it feel like he understands, as if he was there through Jimin's times and was there to listen.

It was a tough time.

It's always that towards the end that Jimin can't even talk after he explodes out, needing some space to just gather his composure.

Just like now, he's in his car, gathering his strength to be calm as he recalls his session with a deep frown. Today they were just talking about his problems of eating, the pressures of his show coming up the following week that practice has been hell. It did, somewhat, help letting it out, but that doesn't mean he didn't cry like a little anxious bitch.

Even if the medication is suppose to help with his anxiety.

Okay to be fair they've been somewhat helping, better. Slowly Jimin has found himself to be more calmer about issues that would set off his temper in the past, or even calmed down his perfectionist tendencies. Less nightmares and everyday triggers that would usually set him off now being more controlled.

Doesn't mean Jimin doesn't still feel like shit most of the time, since after all it's only been three weeks and healing doesn't happen over a fucking day.

As much as he hates to admit it as well, he feels like he's developing an addiction for the medication. It's starting to be something he feels like he needs, everyday, all the time. It's something he hasn't mentioned because that would mean they may decide to level off the medication, so Jimin has kept that thought to himself. Maybe that's his addicting side making that decision for him, or because he knows without that medication he would explode. Either decision is hell either way.

As to other matters, he's been eating.

Kinda.

Willingly.

Taemin has been staying with Jimin since they returned from Brazil, and every single day he prepares three meals a day for the two of them. At first it started off small, since obviously Jimin hasn't been eating, and gradually it being progressive to more solid food. Unfortunately that lasted short since the show is coming up and Jimin needs to be on a diet, but the food he eats is still healthy enough to digest to keep him from losing his weight streak.

Since the two have been sharing the apartment together - temporarily - Taemin has been a literal backbone to him throughout this whole recovery process. He would be there to comfort Jimin after his sessions, give his assistance as Jimin practices for his role, keeps Jimin in check on when to take his medication and takes care of him when he over works himself too hard.

Maybe the two have been more..... Closer than before. Nothing serious, but since Jimin is slowly starting to accept physical contact, him and Taemin just finds themselves in affectionate moments like holding hands while watching a documentary or sleeping on the same bed.

Nothing more than that, since obviously that deal they promised is the biggest barrier between them.

They can only do so much before it'll end up being crossing the line, even though they're already doing a bit too much as it is.

However that's being the best emotional support Jimin is being treated with, and he is helping him get better.

That's why as Jimin calmed down, he looks forward to his way going back home. He already had his ballet practice this morning, all the way till before his session, so he's just ready to head back home and get to bed. But knowing Taemin, he he will probably have something made for him to eat.

And not ready to admit it but Jimin's stomach did growl a little to the thought of eating something soon.

Before the thought became poisoning in his head, Jimin drove away quickly in this surprisingly not so busy streets today. Well, obviously since today is a pretty big day for sport lovers.

Specifically ice events.

Pushing the thought brutally away, Jimin didn't want to linger into those moments of the past. Instead he just presses on the gas and moves through the streets easily before he finally makes it to the apartment complex. Without sparing a second, he rushes up and takes the time in the elevator to check his eyes to see if it's still swollen and fix his hair from how badly of a heaving mess it was by when he was gripping it tightly through his break down.

He doesn't want Taemin to get worried, as per usual.

Something Dr. Kang has told Jimin to fix that attitude because he can't always be worrying about doing things for the sake of Taemin.

Jimin doesn't give a fuck, anything to prevent Taemin from looking at him with those worried eyes is enough. If that means not acting like a crybaby than that'll do.

So gathering his composure better, he arrives to the front door and pushes the door open after shoving his key inside.

Instantly being smacked with the scent of food, responding with his stomach already rumbling.

Damn he's so hungry.

"Hey."

Jimin leaves his shoes by the entrance before closing the door, setting his duffle bag down, "Hey," He responds, feeling a bit more relaxed by the music playing as he shakes his arms a bit to ease the tension on his shoulders, making his way to the kitchen.

No doubt Taemin is there, setting the island with two bowls of food. His hair is growing longer now, and he recently dyed it brunette just for the sake of the show. Lately these days he's been growing more lankier, perhaps because of the diet the two are on, but he still has so much energy for practice and to even go through the efforts to look after Jimin - even though he can perfectly take care of himself.

Well, at least Jimin is getting better at looking after himself too.

Tiredly, maybe even lazily, Jimin goes up to the shirtless man and wraps his arms around his waist from behind just as he was setting two glasses of water.

His skin is warm.

And he smells like baby oil.

"How was your session today?"

Jimin scowls, laying his cheek against the back of Taemin's neck, "How do you think it went?"

After he sets down the utensils, Taemin turns around and places his hands on Jimin's cheek, making him look up. He studies his eyes before pouting playfully to Jimin's own pout, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Because you look like a domestic worried husband right now."

"You look like a domestic worried husband right now," He mimics back in a higher pitch, making Jimin roll his eyes and nudge him back with his fist, followed by a small smile, "Do you not want me to take care of you?"

"No."

Taemin's hands disappears from his face, nodding and turns around, "Okay, so tonight you're going to sleep alone and eat all this food-"

Jimin's hands found his torso again, whining with his face burying to his back, "Shut up, you know I like your company."

This made Taemin giggle, tracing his hands to Jimin's hands and gently caresses his knuckles, "So do I, definitely would enjoy it more if we were to be eating right now. More specifically you."

Jimin mimics his words back, earning a pinch on his arm that made him squeal and let him go - all the while he still remains with his smile as he goes around the island and sits down to eat his salad. It's actually Jimin's favorite really, since the salad has a smoked cooked salmon on it.

When he got his habit of eating again, he found a love for salmon. He doesn't know exactly why, but he just genuinely enjoys eating it since it makes him feel healthy in a strange way.

It puts him in a good mood.

That's how he managed to talk and laugh a little with Taemin about their day while eating, recalling some events that happened during practice and then Jimin talking about his session today. Taemin listening, nodding here and there and not much asking questions - just refusing to want to pressure Jimin to say anything he's not ready for.

A habit the two has developed.

If Jimin is ready to speak, he will speak.

Within time.

Eventually through their little talking session and a shared annoyance about the new instructor to the academy, the food was gone and they sneaked a desert for the two of eating strawberries coated in sugar, discussing over what they may do tomorrow for practice and how to prepare for the show. Jimin has everything pretty much down, along with Johnny, but that doesn't mean their connection is any better.

Johnny still is an asshole, and Jimin is still a bitch to him. It's a fair game.

Without a win. Not like Taemin still tries to make them get along, he knows that's a hopeless attempt.

By the time the strawberries were gone, Jimin owned up to his duty to wash the dishes since Taemin did fix up a meal for them.

In the midst of him drying up the dishes and putting it in the drying rack, and arm snaked around his waist from behind followed but a nose nuzzling against his hair adoringly. He tried not to smile, but that failed when Taemin holds a strawberry out to him with a chin on his shoulder.

"Saved this for you, eat some nutrients."

Jimin snorts to the playful way he shifted his voice, putting the dish down and leans, wrapping his lips around the tip of the strawberry and taking a bite. He chews a little before leaning once again to take another bite but Taemin moves the strawberry farther back, making Jimin scowl.

"Go get it."

Not bothering to hide his sneering eyes, he still leaned forward and manages to snag his teeth to the strawberry and guides it back to himself.

Too focused on on eating with a happy heart, he didn't notice the way Taemin's eyes went from being amusingly playful to now much more darker, staring at the way Jimin hallows his cheeks as he went for another bite after his tongue made first contact with the strawberry and then his plump lips-

Taemin tears his eyes away, cheeks burning red. Jimin was a little oblivious, eating the entire strawberry before taking it off his hand with a grin, "Thanks for feeding me but I think I can do that well on my own."

Initially Taemin didn't respond, too lost in his own mind to focus on anything, but when Jimin turns around to face him he snaps his gaze to look at him.

"Hm?"

Jimin softly blinks at him, snorting, "What's going on up there huh? Could've just told me if you wanted to eat the strawberry too, maybe then I would've saved you some."

That was the guidance Taemin needed to bring himself back from his lusting mind, scoffing, "Well it's a little too late for that now isn't it?"

And the two shared a giggle together, Taemin's hands now on Jimin's waist while the other male has his hands around his neck. Sparkling eyes are staring into one another as they laugh, that spark traveling to somewhere deep in their hearts. Even after those childish laughs died down, leaving them with this comforting silence, they still smiled at one another.

Sometimes words don't even have to be said between them, only letting this silence settle to how soft and quiet it feels. Almost like laying on a soft cloud, where the troubles didn't exist and the world felt like it froze.

Peaceful, it was peaceful.

Jimin felt his heart maybe even smile a little, just like his own lips. So he steps closer towards Taemin, completely wrapping his arms around his neck in a tight hug with his eyes closing.

Letting himself feel.

Feel the way Taemin's heart beats against his own chest. His deep inhale when he burries his face to Jimin's neck, sighing so heavily as he let's his weight fall to each other's arm. The way his fingers travels his back, dragging the material of his shirt, pressing his palms to draw Jimin as close as possible to him.

And for a second, Jimin felt like him again.

That kid, who freshly got into the Ballet academy, not knowing anything about the world and feel these little butterflies to the sight of the upperclassmen who's holding him now. When he didn't have so many issues and didn't hate the world so much or himself.

When life stood still, and he was happy.

Truly happy.

By doing something he loved to do, and learning more to do.

Holding onto Taemin now felt like he was clutching onto that past they had, discovering their love for their passion and the childish interest for one another; Jimin felt hopefully, just a bit hopeful.

Now they're older, ballet slowly feels more like a hobby than a passion and with Taemin..... It's not so easy.

Life is complicated.

Maybe that's what Jimin refuses to accept now these days; how much things has changed.

Or so.... he thought has changed.

"Jimin," Taemin mumbles against his neck, quietly, clasping his hands around the end of his spine, holding him close, "I love you."

Jimin's heart dropped.

He.... He just said...

Did he just say-

No, he probably meant it as a friend way, since that's what they are. Taemin isn't so bold to initiate something like that, Jimin is usually the bold one.

Shit, Jimin needs to calm down.

He can't just overthink these things so much.

So to play it off, he laughs a little, "Aw, I love you so much."

If he would've said the too, he wouldn't have meant it.

Even if he plays it off now, maybe somewhere deep down inside meant it.

Who knows.

Taemin slowly pulls back, staring into Jimin's eyes. He didn't say anything, but he shifts his lips into a weak smile, nodding, "You should probably shower and get ready for bed."

"Aren't you going to shower with me?"

Okay yes, they've showered together a few times, don't think dirty of it. They literally would tease each other or even fight for the shower head, nothing sexual about it.

It just... Happens? How can Jimin even explain it!

Everything is platonic between them, that's about it - kinda? Maybe?

"Not tonight since I already showered," Taemin snickers, pinching Jimin's cheek, "Want to watch a movie or ready for bed?"

"Sleeping sounds about fantastic right now."

Taemin nods, giving him another smile, "Alright, I'll wait for you in bed. Now go shower."

For a moment it kinda felt like they were suppose to do something. There was this little tension that spiked up out of no where and Jimin didn't know why his eyes ended up glancing to his lips, but it did.

His stomach fluttered a little, making this strange heat crawl up his neck.

Either he's about to get anxious or panicking, he doesn't fucking know.

It just made him feel.... Hot, and this tad bit impulsive.

Key word, tad bit.

That tad bit that would've went up to a great bit was cut off when Taemin looks away, clearing his throat and let's Jimin go, "I'll um... I remember I had to call Jackson about something, so-"

"Yeah, yup, I'll just - ow!" Jimin's hip rammed to the edge of the island as he was stepping back, tripping over his feet but he collected himself with an awkward smile, "So - Yeah, see you."

"Yup!"

And Jimin practically bolts into the bathroom, barely even breathing by how quickly his heart is fucking pounding.

Calm down.

Calm down.

Okay, that's better.

Slowly Jimin relaxed, pinching himself to snap out of it and get his shit together before proceeding to continue on with his mission to shower. He took his time, since he doesn't really like to rush these days to just absorb the calmness to how this shower feels. Kinda soothing in some strange way.

Just makes his mind fall blank to the world.

Especially of things that could be troubling him.

It's been great therapy, even if it's something as simple as a warm shower.

After who knows how long, Jimin finally finishes up and dries himself while brushing his teeth and letting his hair air dry. He takes his medicine and for his antidepressants probably takes one more pill than prescribed to make him feel more..... Careless? Just enough to sleep well and not get nightmares.

He exits out of the bathroom and goes ahead to his room, seeing Taemin laying on his bed with his boxers and a phone facing his face.

"No way, the event is ending that fast?"

"Yeah man, three weeks goes by flying."

Jimin goes to the walk in closest, their voices now falling in the background, putting the towel away and puts on his boxers before ruffling his hair with his fingers before moving back to his room after applying lotion to his body so his skin can be soft.

"How's Jimin doing? I haven't been wanting to contact him since I didn't know if he would even answer me."

Lazily Jimin plops on the bed, right beside Taemin, popping on the screen with a small wave. It seems like Jackson isn't home, much rather in a crowded area. He is the same as he always is, maybe even happier the second he sees Jimin's glowing face.

"JIMIN! Shit - How are you? It's been a while!"

"You're telling me," Jimin huffs and comfortably sits and leans back against the head rest, "I've been okay, just focusing on ballet and other.... Stuff."

"I see, you do seem different."

Jimin snorts, shaking his head, "It's been three weeks, ain't going to see results that fast."

"Little changes makes big differences," Jackson says, looking ahead for a moment before back to the camera, "Look at where I am at now."

And he switches the camera, showing the familiar ice rink with skaters skating inside with the hollers of the crowd.

Right, the last week is event week, where the skaters show what they got.

Hm, good for them for surviving that time.

"Looks nice."

Taemin glances to Jimin for a moment and then places his hand on his thigh, sending Jimin a side eye to show a bit of comfort. He knows well Jimin, even if he doesn't want to admit it, really wanted to perform there for that event.

But it's better if he left either way.

Well, there's nothing he can do now clearly.

"The shows were really nice. Right now I'm seeing the speed skaters break their legs out here," Jackson says, "Jeongguk's been doing so well! Shit, he got first place a few times. The kid is insane with talent!"

And that's when Jimin's lips pulled to a frown.

Jeongguk.

Just remembering the last time he saw him was like a needle to his heart, cursing at the way his anxiety acted up against his medications to the point he couldn't even give a proper goodbye to him. That night was the worse episode he's had with his vision yet. He couldn't see clearly until he got to the airport, to which he then slowly started to regain more and more of his sight.

No doubt he mentioned this to his doctor and well, they just prescribed him with stronger eye drops.

Not much he can do to fight against that either way.

Can't stop the inevitable.

Since then he's avoided learning any information about Jeongguk at all. He knew if he heard something about him, he'll be tempted to just call or text him to see how he's doing. They need this distance now, just until Jimin can manage to say that he's okay, or even better than before.

Besides, he also didn't want to be a distraction for him. The two clearly have a lot on their plate, so it's better if they avoided contact for now.

Jimin's doing good as of now, with his life that is.

Subconciously his eyes glances to Taemin's hand on his thigh, feeling a tingle in his stomach.

Yeah, definitely way better now.

"That's nice," Jimin chirps, his hand finding Taemin's and gripping it tightly to keep himself grounded, "But hey I'm about to head to sleep, talk to you soon!"

"Yeah definitely! I'm about to head out too and meet up with some skaters. Goodnight to both of you!"

Taemin smiles, "Talk to you soon," And he hangs up the phone, putting it aside.

Like melted putty, Jimin slides down to lay down on the bed with a heavy groan. Casually Taemin gets on him, elbows rested on either side of Jimin's head with gaze focused on him.

"You okay? I know how you've been wanting to avoid talking about Jeongguk and just skating in general for a bit."

Jimin rubs his eyes and slowly nods, looking at him now, "Yeah I'm okay. It's not that it's an issue, but every time I think about it..... I don't know. I just remember how much I hurt Jeongguk because of how unstable I was, you know? With me being so careless and... Just a lot of regret."

"I get it, don't worry," Taemin whispers, using one hand to caress his hair, "Do you think one day you'll be ready to face him?"

"Perhaps," Jimin shrugs, his hand tracing Taemin's clavicle, "Eventually..... When I feel more sure about myself, you know?"

Taemin slowly nods, suddenly squealing when Jimin's finger traces up to his neck, "Stop, you know that tickles!"

A mischevious glint sparkles Jimin's eye and he started to wiggle his fingers on his skin, forcing another squeal from Taemin to the point he flung himself to the side to escape it. Jimin was on him now, tickling him with a wide smile that reaches his eyes, leaning forward and playfully biting his neck right where the tickled area is.

Taemin definitely shrieked this time, "Jimin! Stop teething! Don't make me spank you!"

"You spank me?" Jimin laughs, just about ready to slide his tongue against his skin, "Right - Ugh!"

Jolting forward to the sudden force on his butt, Jimin gasps to the burn from where the hand planted on him. He pulls back, seeing Taemin holding onto a challenging stare back.

"Taemin!"

"I warned you!"

"But my butt is burning now!"

"Yeah! well.... So is my neck!"

Jimin grimaces, rolling his eyes and leans forward, pressing a peck to the area he bit him, "There, better?"

Taemin tried not to smile, but his smile was reach his eyes so childlike that even made Jimin feel like he melted on the spot.

"Does that mean I have to kiss your sore butt too?"

"Shut up!" Jimin now cover his blushing face gets off him, but he wasn't given that chance to hide because Taemin suddenly squeals and hugs him like a teddy bear while talking him down.

Unable to hide his smile, Jimin didn't bother anymore. He smiles widely and reaches to turn off his lamp, leaving them in complete darkness.

They remain in each other's arms, holding onto one another while staring at the ceiling with gentle caresses on each other's skin - feeling as though the soft trails like canvases of tender touches in its awake. If it was a few months back, Jimin would most likely be screaming to the amount of physical contact he'a having now, but since him and Taemin been growing so much more closer together, there's just a lot of trust between them.

He knows Taemin wouldn't hurt him.

And he knows he wouldn't hurt Taemin either.

Softly Jimin closes his eyes, laying his cheek against Taemin's chest, "This feels sweet."

"Yeah... It really does."

"It's where I want to be. Tonight, tomorrow, every night," Jimin says quietly, letting sleep slowly sweep him away as the medication starts taking its effect, "Thank you for being my pillar, you and Jihyo."

Taemin holds him comfortably in his arms, caressing the side of his head with his hand, "Thank you for existing," He whispers back, gently pressing his lips against his forehead, "I love you.... A lot Jimin

"Hmm, I love you Taemin."

Nothing more was said, and the two drifted off into a deep slumber.

A/N:

I have a feeling I'm going to come across some comments about this being a Jikook story or how they only want to see Jikook, so I'll just say to read the first chapter where I write my disclaimer. I really like to take my time developing relationships in a story, even showing other relationships the main characters could have with other people to show a bit more realism, so if your focus is on Jikook while reading this story, I'll advise to change that focus to the plot.

This story is so much more than just a ship book, so please focus on the plot as well than just the shipping.

Thank you!

I PURPLE YOU! <33
