Manami's POV

TEST 1: FIFTY METER DASH

This one scared me. I didn't know how I was supposed to do this, because although I could teleport, that was technically cheating. The first two up was glasses and Tsu. They both did really well. I overheard Uraraka and Izuku cheering for glasses. 

"Go Iida!" That got glasses' attention, and waved at them after he finished with 3.04 seconds. 'Iida, huh? Not bad, actually.' I thought to myself. I decided to use X-ray to give me more information. 

TENYA IIDA | QUIRK: ENGINE

Manifests in the form of engines in his calves, giving him super speed. He does need to pay attention to drink enough orange juice, as it serves as fuel for his engines.

After I looked at Iida, I looked at Tsu who got 5.58 seconds, gaining what she could do with her quirk too, just in case there was ever a time I have to fight her.

TSUYU ASUI | QUIRK: FROG

Her quirk allows her to do anything a frog can do such as: hopping long distances, jumping, sticking to walls, extending her tongue, which can lift an entire person's body, up to a maximum of 20 meters, ejecting / washing her stomach, secreting toxic, sticky liquid, and camouflage.

I sighed, looking at the next two that were supposed to race. Uraraka and some guy with a tail. Uraraka had previously told me that she had zero gravity, and could take away all the gravity from something using the pads on her fingers. Therefore, I looked at the guy with a tail.

MASHIRAO OJIRO | QUIRK: TAIL

Gives him a strong, sturdy tail that can be used as a third arm.

Ojiro didn't do to bad, he got a solid 5.49 seconds. Meanwhile, Uraraka got 7.15 seconds. Honestly not to bad. Next up was my race, and I was up against the boy that stood up for me and my reasoning. 

"Hey, good luck...uh.." I couldn't finish because I didn't know his name. He looked ahead, getting ready to run, or do whatever he was going to do. 

"Shoto Todoroki. But please just use Todoroki." He told me, and the buzzer went off. Almost like a reflex from an alarm going off from a villain's view, I lifted my arms up, and ink immediately flowed to my arms, creating wings. And with one downward swipe, I took off, almost immediately reaching the finish line and finishing in 2.01 seconds. In fact, the swipe was so hard, I flew past the finish line by quite a distance, and ended up airborne, having to turn around, and land near Aizawa. 

"Hamadashi, that was amazing!" Uraraka exclaimed. I smiled, bowing. 

"Thanks, I think I overdid it a bit though. I panicked when I heard the buzzer." I explained, itching the back of my head. Then, Izuku ran over. 

"Hamadashi, I didn't know you could create different things on your body!" Izuku yelled, making me look at him. 

"Oh, young Midoriya, that's only one of the many things to my quirk." I replied, smirking. Then, Iida walked over, like he was studying me. 

"Hello there, I'm-" 

"Tenya Iida, right? Nice to meet you, I'm Manami Hamadashi. And let me just say, I like your quirk. Having engines in your calves is pretty handy." I told him. The three of them were taken aback at how much I knew about him. 

"H-how'd you know-" Once again, I cut him off. 

"It's one of my parts to my quirk. Coldfront calls it X-ray, and so that's what it's been named. I can basically look at a person in three different spots, and immediately know their name, their quirk, how their quirk works, their strengths, and their weaknesses." I explained. They immediately got sparkles in their eyes, and tackled me. 

"Do Todoroki! Do Todoroki!" Izuku cheered. I then looked at said boy, gaining everything I needed to know. 

SHOTO TODOROKI | QUIRK: HALF-COLD HALF-HOT

 The appendages on his right side can drastically lower temperatures of anything they touch, enough so to create large waves of ice. The limbs on his left side generate heat and allow Shoto to create and shoot streams of fire. Excessive use of his ice power causes Shoto to suffer from frostbite, while excessive use of his fire power causes his body to overheat and burn up.

"Huh.." I unintentionally said, getting the attention of the three. 

"What did you get?" Iida asked me. I looked at him, smiling. 

"Well, his quirk is half cold and half hot. his right side can create ice while his left can create fire. If he uses his right side too much he can get frostbite, while if he uses his left side too much he can burn himself.  But each side can counteract the weakness." I explained. They nodded, before we continued to the next test. 

TEST 2: GRIP STRENGTH

This one was pretty simple. I just made a giant, strong hand, and used it to grip the grip measurer. '666.5' is what it read. I gulped, Aizawa quickly recording it, before taking it from me. Then, I saw someone with multiple arms. Me being the curious little child inside, I used X-ray to figure out who it was. 

MEZO SHOJI | QUIRK: DUPLI-ARMS

Allows the tips of his tentacles to replicate parts of his body (ex. mouth, ears). Mezo can also use his tentacles to make duplicates of his body parts such as an extra arm and can use them as decoys.

Then, once he was done with the grip test, I saw what he got. '540?!' That was literally mind-blowing.

TEST 3: STANDING LONG JUMP

I had literally no idea what the hell to do for this one. I simply made springs on my feet and used those to go as far as I could. It wasn't much, but it was enough to beat some of the others in the class.

TEST 4: REPEATED SIDE STEPS

I didn't use my quirk for this since I was running low on ink. I finished with about 57. Not too bad for me. After I was done, Aizawa handed me a canister. 

"You seem low on energy, Hamadashi." He told me. I opened it, and immediately, the smell of ink filled my nose. I licked my lips, chugging the entire thing. I felt energized once it was all down, and I could see that my hair was more black. 

"Thanks, Aizawa." I told him. He simply nodded, handing me a softball, signaling to me that the next test was up.

TEST 5: SOFTBALL THROW

Seeing what everyone could do was incredible, and so when it was my turn, I just made the same arm I used for the grip test, and threw the ball with a lot of force. Then, when it got a far enough distance away I made a bat in mid-air, hitting it back to me. 

When it almost hit me, which scared the fuck out of the students, I hit it with my arm, signaling Full Counter to take effect. With that, it flew farther than anyone expected. Even me. 

"That's incredible..." Aizawa said, showing me the screen. It turns out that it was infinity, because of how hard the counter throw must've been. Of course, Uraraka got infinity too, but as the other tests went on, I heard something going on in the bushes near the school. I turned around, looking at the bushes, only to see a figure running out of it. I created a vortex, throwing it at where the figure was going, only to miss. I squinted my eyes near the area, only to turn around to see Izuku throw the ball quite far. 

I honestly was shocked at what he got. Compared to the ordinary scores he had gotten before, this one was a lot higher. 705.3 is what he got, and to be honest, something to me wasn't right. I did a quicker version of an X-ray to see that he had broken his finger. 

"You okay, Midoriya?" I asked him. He nodded, smiling and holding his wrist. 

"Yeah, it stings a bit, but I can manage." He replied, before Aizawa spoke up. 

"You should go and see Recovery girl. We can hold up the tests for you." Aizawa instructed. And just like he said, we waited for him to show up. With that, we finished up the tests pretty quickly. 

I ended up getting 3rd in the tests, which made me pretty satisfied. I actually was able to find Momo as Aizawa was talking to the class, and tapped her shoulder. 

"Congrats on getting 1st, Momo." I told her, smiling. She smiled back, patting my head. 

"Good job yourself. With your kind of quirk, I'd never expect you to do so well. N-No offense though!" She said quickly, waving her arms around. I laughed, grabbing her arms.

"To be honest, I wasn't expecting myself to do so well either." I told her, taking the cap off of another canister of ink. We both laughed more once again, as Todoroki walked over. 

"Congrats on doing well, you guys. It's not a surprise that we all got up so high considering the fact that we were all recommended." He said. Momo looked at me, shocked. 

"You were recommended too?" She asked. Todoroki rolled his eyes, speaking for me.

"Of course she was, the thing going around is that she had the most recommendations out of all of us." Todoroki said, Momo nodding in understanding. 

"I think the three of us will get along well." I said, giggling. Momo got stars in her eyes, before hugging me. 

"I am SO adopting you! You are now my child, and I will care for you and protect you because you are so precious!" Momo exclaimed, making me laugh harder. Todoroki just watched us, shaking his head. 

I really like this school.
