The thirst, hard to hide

Power runs through my body with every sip

Looking down I realize what I've done

I'm a murderer.

I drop the body I've drained and step back in disgust.

I'm scared someone will find out.

But how?

No one believes in vampires do they?

I run to the woods and kill a deer.

The animal blood not as good as human, but it still satisfied

I killed twelve deer and buried each one.

I lived a secluded life away from humans,

Then I met you.

You believed in me.

I became a better person, but still worried if hurt you.

We kissed, I felt no urge to rip out your jugular

A deep passionate kiss, we held nothing back.

You were never scared of me.

I was scared of everything, hurting you was above all my fears

Then I found, there was nothing if could do.
