Mae's P. O. V

        "What do they want from you?",Kelvis asked no one in particular.

     "They exaggerated alot. You ain't as strong as they claim and you can't bring a dead to life without a consequence. And you ain't the strongest of us all.",you all can guess who said that. Yeah, Angel.

       "Who do they want to bring to life anyways? ",Rita asked.

     "Why did they send that woman to deliver the message and how did they know we will come looking for them?",Kelvin asked.

       "What do they need Miles for? It is not like he is that strong or is he?",Reeny asked as she paced around the room.

      "Who would be behind this?",Ryan wondered.

        "What does D&W stand for?",Mil asked.

     "Why are they coming now?", Avery asked.

       "Would you all shut up?",Jay, Josh and Jack said in unison.

      "Give her a break to think. They are after her no one else and if you guys keep bombarding her with questions she might lose it.",Jack spoke.

           I just sat on the stool in the kitchen and observed them from the kitchen I was silent. I couldn't talk because I had a lot on my mind. They abducted my ma because they want to get me. Why didn't they come to me instead? Why abduct alot of gifted just to get to me? Who do they need to be brought to life? How do they know I can bring a dead to life without consequences? It's only family members that knows, like I, my brothers, ma, Rita and her family, Red and her family....no one besides them knows. Could the witches/wizards be behind this? Did McCallister tell them about me bringing a dead to life without a consequence? He doesn't know, does he? What if the witches ain't behind this? Who could be behind all this then? Who would know alot about us? It can't be the witches/wizards because Nate looked shocked like he was hearing it for the first time.

        "Mae! Mae!! Mae!!",Josh tapped me and I looked up to stare at him.

        "Were you even listening to us?",Jay asked and I nodded.

        "We are not giving you up to those monsters.",Kelvis said and I stood up from the stool and went to the fridge to get water.

          "Without her, they won't give up our ma's.", Ryan said and I poured a bottle of water in a glass and gulped it all.

        "I am more concerned about my sister's life",Josh yelled.

        "Than the woman that gave birth to you?",Angel asked and Josh was silent.

        "I don't think so",Ryan muttered.

        I came out of the kitchen and headed towards the stairs before the door was swung open. I spurned and the people I saw shocked me. I ran towards the door and hugged them.

          "Do you think I would let you guys go through this alone?",Red smiled and I hugged her again.

        "Sorry we are late. We didn't want Dad to worry.", Ralphael,Red's twin said .

         "Woooow, the poseidons are here. These would be fun.", Peter folded his hands on his chest.

        Ralph and Pete walked towards Kelvis and Kelvin who are now on their feet. When they were in front of each other, they stopped and did their bro handshake they formed since they were five years old. They laughed and teased each other on how they have grown.

       Red and Rita just looked at each other without moving a muscle. I forgot to mention this earlier. Red and Rita are not in talking terms because Rita is presently dating Red's ex. Red and Arthur broke up due to a huge misunderstanding, Rita and Arthur began close and then we heard they were dating. Reds anger was that Rita went to beg on her behalf since she is proud and hot headed and they became close and started dating while Rita said she has always loved Arthur and thought her best friend and sister will be happy for her even though they are no longer dating besides Red said she was over him.....her words not mine. So for three years they haven't said a word to each other.

        "Nice to see you",Rita said.

        "The pleasure is all mine",Red said as she walked past her and entered the kitchen and searched the pot for food.

            "You didn't cook anything.",Red asked in disappointment.

       "Maybe next time you would inform us of your arrival.",Jay said.

        "I can see you are still on her side",She said pointing to Rita.

         "Maybe because she apologized to you but you turned deaf ears",he said out loud.

          "It's not easy to forgive someone once a trust is broken. You of all people should know that.",she shot back and Jay was silent as he looked at Josh. We all knew what she meant.......well that story is for another day.

       "I will order Chinese food, pizza and some ice creams because we have a lot to catch up on", Kelvis said to brighten the moment and Red nodded.

       "How are you doing?",Nate said as we spoke on FaceTime using my laptop.

       "Good and you?", I asked.

       "Great now that I have heard your voice.",he said and I blushed.

       "I am very sorry for talking back at your relative I was just angry.",he apologized and I smiled.

      "It's fine besides they deserve it. And they are my cousin, my mom's elder brothers children.",I explained.

       "The other one with a blonde hair is?"

        "Kelvis while the one with a black hair is Kelvin"

      "Ohhhhh!!"

       "I am hungry...... please tell me you are too",he said and I chuckled.

       "Not really. Lost my appetite",I said sincerely.

       "I will come and pick you so get ready.",he said.

      "Where are we going to?",I asked.

       "To a restaurant to eat and don't tell me you aren't hungry because I won't hear that", He said.

        "Get ready. See you later.",he said and hung up, not giving me a chance to protest and I was glad he insisted on us going out because lately I want to be away from my family.

           "Pizza is here", Peter yelled and I heard footsteps running downstairs to fight for the pizza.

      I grabbed my jacket from the table and ran out of the room. When I got downstairs I saw Jay, Josh, Kelvis, Kelvin, Peter, Ralphael, Red and Peter were fighting for a slice of pizza, I chuckled when I saw them fighting.

       I ran to where they were and crawled to their middle and took a slice of pizza and ran away from them, they all began to chase me. I ran to the kitchen and they double crossed me.

     "Do you all think you will get me?",I asked.

      "Of course. It will be like taking candy from a baby", Red scoffed and I laughed.

      "Just you and I then",I said and she nodded in agreement.

       "This should be fun", Peter went to the couch to sit down.

      "Show her sis", Ralphael said and Kelvin hit him at the back of his head.

      "Let's bet then. I bet on Red", Ralphael said and Kelvis and Josh bet on Red while Jay, Kelvin bet on me. Peter and Rita bet on draw.....no winner.

        "I love you sis but we all know Red's power is dope",Josh said and I rolled my eyes.

       He is right. Red's power are the coolest....... I haven't changed to her before so I don't have her powers....just one of her powers though. Her powers are Blood tears, Replication and teleportation. No one knew she had that power until, her dad beat her and she began to cry, her dad felt weak and fell to his knees....she didn't know what was happening, she started shouting and her mom came to help her father, she was just 6 years old. Rita's powers are Luck, replication and telekinesis. Kelvin powers are Chi manipulation, indestructible digestion, super strength. Kelvis powers are mediumship, omnifabrication and reactive adaptation. Peter powers are sensory scrying, mental manipulation, tangibility. Ralphael powers are super strength, blood bending and clairvoyance.

     "It has to be in this house. No weapons allowed", Peter gave the rules and we nodded in agreement.

    "We don't want blood sprinkling on our bodies",Kelvin joked.

       "Get me if you can",I said.

    I teleported to my room and she did same. I was about running to the door before she replicated and blocked me. I replicated as well and we began to fight. She pushed me and I fell to the ground and so did the pizza. She squatted and was about picking the pizza before I kicked her on her stomach. She fell beside me and I picked up the pizza and ran out of the door.

        "Get ready to pay up", I heard Kelvin say and I chuckled.

      "Watch out", Josh shouted and when I turned, it was late. She kicked me and I fell down the stairs.

        Jay and Josh stood up in fear,  I landed on the ground with my legs. She looked down and saw I landed with the pizza on my hand and grumbled. She somersault and landed on her feet. She punched me and I dodged them, I smiled and she smiled back.

       "Not bad. Now I know you have been training",she said.

      "Thank you. You ain't that bad",I smiled.

       She kicked me on the leg and I fell to my knees. She hit me on my hand and I became paralysed and she smiled. She is really good at paralysing people with just a touch. She took the pizza from my hand and chuckled.

       "Winner!!", Everyone who bet on her jumped on their feet.

      "Et vade in nervorum resolutions",I said and I broke free from the paralysis.

      "Nunc elats in Manus measure in placenetium", and the pizza appeared on my hands. I looked at her and smiled.

     Rita grabbed the pizza from my hand and ate it. We all grumbled in anger and ran after her. She ran to the garage and we followed suite. When she got to the garage she ran towards the secret room and stood to catch her breath.

      "What is that?",Peter asked pointing to the door.

     "It's no-"

     "Did Grandpa surprise you guys with a secret room?",Kelvis asked and I, Jay and Josh were surprised.

      "He surprised you guys too?",I asked and they all nodded.

      Jay, Josh and I placed our fingers on the finger print the door opened and we all got in. We all walked around the room with smiles.

       "Guys!!", Ralphael called for us and we went to meet him. He stood in front of a wall.

      "Why did you call us?", Red asked in worries in his voice.

      "There is something over there. Jay do something",He said and he nodded.

     "Lubes me ad ostium aperire",Jay said and the door opened. We saw different weapons. They were tempting and shining.

       There were 12 weapons and they were used by legends and gods. We were so happy, the weapons Grandpa got us suites us very well. Their were 12 weapons but we are only 9.

       "Ohhhhh my gosh. I got tyrfing", Kelvis said in excitement.

       You might be confused. Let me clarify this. Kelvis got a tyrfing; it is a cursed sword that would kill a man when drawn and would eventually kill it's weild. Rita got a Sharur; the enchanted talking mace. Red got a jem of kukulhan; a Mayan serpents. It has the ability to control all elements like fire, wind and ice. Josh got the Dainslieif; two swords that gave wounds that never healed and could not unsheathed without killing a man. Jay got the freyr's sword; a magic sword which fought on its own. Peter got gungnir; Odin spear created by the dwarf Dvalinn  it could strike any target no matter the skill or strength of the weilder. Kelvin got the Gae Buide and Gae Derg;  a spear that inflict wonds from which none could recover.  Ralphael got the Durendal; indestructible sword and I got the killer dagger; two daggers, they do whatever you want them to, for instance if you want the knife poisoned and kill whoever you want without Mercy the dagger could do it, it could only be reversed if the bearer could say a spell invented by them. Grandpa knew how much I wanted to cast spells and also write spells and he gave me an opportunity to. The dagger looked like everyother dagger but this is magical. All the weapons were magical and powerful.

      "I so love Grandpa",we all said in unison.

        "The meal was delicious",I said.

      "I thought you said you weren't hungry",he arched an eyebrow and chuckled.

        "I wasn't. But Grandpa gave me a gift which is so cool.",I said with smile on my face.

      "I will love to see the gift that made you more pretty",he said and I blushed.

     "Why are we hear?",I asked.

     "I want to spend time with you.",he replied as he rested his head on my shoulder as we sat on a bench outside a farm house down an isolated hill. I have no idea how we got here, was blinded folded throughout the journey.

          "What truly happened today? What did you see?",I asked and he sat up.

       I knew he won't answer that easily. I hate seeing him this way, I know the vision he saw was about his family. I know I am not even supposed to hang around with wizards but lately I can't help it. I know nobody will approve of us been together even if we wanted, so why can't I stay away.

     I tinted my head to the side and saw how worried he looked. That look broke my heart a little. This is exactly the way I felt for Ry and Ryan but this time stronger. His curly hair touched his face, his skin glowing and those pink lips, damn. What am I thinking?. I faced front and closed my eyes. What is happening? I have been thinking about him lately and worried sick, I can't help it.

        " I was thirsty one night so I came down to drink water and I saw my mom laying down on the sofa. I walked to her and touched her shoulder, I could see what her dream was. I saw my mom and dad, they were happy. He is tall, white skinned and had fashion sense. He looked just like Jay and Josh. They sat the way we were sitting his head on my mom's shoulder. He raised his head from my mom's shoulder and rested it on her stomach. She was pregnant with I and my brothers. They talked about a future with us, they had big plans for I and my brothers. One morning my mom woke up and my dad wasn't there. She waited and waited but he didn't return. She asked everyone in the city but no one saw him. He couldn't even drop a note to inform my mom he wasn't coming back. When she got home she was crying uncontrollably, she sat on the floor hopeless. A woman who looked just like my mom was consoling her but she refused to be consoled. I had never seen my mom cry that much before. I staggered backwards and tears became to flow from my eyes. I hit a table and she woke up. I quickly wiped the tears and she asked me why I was still up. I told her I was about to get water before I hit the table. She said okay and asked me to go to bed after I had drank the water. Since then, I hated him alot more. He never cared, why should we?",I stopped and played with my fingers. He pulled me to his chest and kissed my forehead. He smelled like orange.

      "Fathers are the worst, ain't they?",he said and I chuckled.

      "Yeah, they are.",I replied.

       "The guy I brutally killed has a hand in my mom's death. When I touched him I had a vision,I saw him fighting with my mom. She was protecting someone, I wasn't sure whom. That's why I lost my cool.",he said sadly. He felt comfortable telling me about the vision.

      "Don't you know how she died?",I asked and he nodded.

      "No one knows but some said it was the Demonites.",he replied and I felt guilty.

       "I promise if I find out who killed your mom, I will kill him or make him pay",I promised and he nodded. I need to prove to him that Demonites ain't that bad.

     "Not if I kill him first",he said and we laughed.

     "So where is your dad now?",he asked.

     "I don't know and sincerely I don't care",I shot back.

     "Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude"

    "It's fine",he said as he rested his head on mine as it rested on his shoulder. Everytime I am with him, I feel safe like nothing could harm me. Although nothing and no one can harm me with or without him.
