Mae's P. O. V

Its the fourth day in our new school. And I can't help but miss Demonia so bad. It lunch time/break what ever they call it. I, Mil,Reeny,Angel and Avery are sitting on our table since we came here we have been sitting here and its kinda feels good to have our own table. The guys went to get food from outside so,its just us.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned to see a tall, cute guy."How can I help you? ",I asked.

"Nathan wants to talk to you",the boy said.

"Excuse me? Are you talking to me?", I asked because I wasn't sure he was talking to me.

" Who else will I be talking to? He said he will be waiting for you so don't waste his time",he said and walked out.

"Its like that guy is sick in the head", Avery said after he left.

"Arrogant goat",Reeny said.

" Who the hell is Nathan ?",Mil said angrily.

"Who cares? ", Angel said eating her bacon.

" Why are you guys bothering yourselves? If he can't come by himself, he should commit suicide",I said.

Few minutes later,another guy who is tall,handsome, blonde,with grey eye tapped me and said,"Didn't that kid tell you I was calling you?".

Mil wanted to say something but I told her to ignore him. He tapped me and I ignored him. He got angry and threw my food to the ground. Okay,he just woke up the sleeping lion.

"What the hell did you do that for?" I shouted at the top of my voice and everyone stared at us.

"To get your attention", he said.

" So you are the stupid Nathan that sent that lame kid to me. Don't you know that you ain't suppose to call girls like that,we ain't your slave",I said looking him straight in the eyes.

"But that's how we call people here", another guy beside him said.

" Thank goodness you said people,we ain't just people we HV names..... And we ain't like those people you call and they stupidly answer you guys",Mil said

"And who the hell are you guys supposed to be to her?", another guy asked my friends.

" We are her best friends you punk. The next time you riff- raff call her or anyone of us like that again,I will personally make you bitches pay",Reeny said angrily.

"Guys let's leave this miserable guys alone. They ain't worth our words,they are worthless creatures", Avery said.

As we were about to walk out Nathan pulled me back,as I turned to face him,I saw Ryder rushing him with blows.

" Don't you ever lay your filthy fingers on my girlfriend again or else, it won't be only blows you will be receiving ",Ry said angrily.

" Ry,its ok-",he cuts me short.

"Its not okay,how can he pull you like that, is he insane? He is lucky it wasn't Jay or Josh who saw this, cause if they did, he would HV been sent to a public hospital", Ry said.

Ryan,Jack,Jay and Josh came to meet us. Josh asked," Grumpy,what the hell is going on here? ",. I kept quiet and he shouted,"Answer me,grumpy".

Mil said," Those punks wanted to hit your sister". Josh and Jay didn't wait to process what they heard,they began to fight with Nathan,when Nathan's friends jumped in,Ryan, Jack and Ry joined the fight. Each time we tried to separate the fight we get pulled back by either Ryan or Jack.

We were all at the principals office. We were shocked to see that the principal of this school was the principal from our old school back in Demonia, Principal Kelvis. As usual he lectured us and let the people who started this go,leaving just I and my friends.

"Why do you guys find it so hard to stay away from trouble?", the principal said.

" But they started it when they tried to lay their filthy hands on my sister ",Josh spoke angrily.

The principal looked at me for a while before saying," I should HV known you started this. Why do you HV to be the master minder of such shenanigans? ".

" I didn't do anything this time they started it. Check your damn camera if you don't believe us.",I said rudely.

"You are suppose to ignore them. Its your new school", the principal said.

" Did you just say ignore? We should ignore the fact they wanted to hit my sister. If there are two people I don't joke with its my mom and my sister. What happened to our number one rule,always protect a Demonite?. I don't regret this,if he lays another finger on my sister,my girlfriend or the rest of the girls, I swear I will kill him and damn the fucked up consequences",Jay yelled. Its really strange seeing Jacob like this,he isn't the rude or violent type its Josh's ways not his. It shows in the principals face that he is as shocked as the rest of us are, I HV to admit I am happy to see my brothers fighting for me,even Ry,Ryan and Jack fought......I am surprised. Don't get me wrong I know they could kill for me but I never believed it cause no one has ever laid a finger on me before,so there wasn't a reason to fight for me.

"Detention everyone. Now leave", he said. We didn't argue because we don't HV his time. I was thinking of what to tell my mom when she ask us why we got detention.

" Great,Mae made us to get detention just like she made her mom blood bend us. Mae has always been the cause of us going to detention ", Angel said while we were outside.

" Will you shut up? I won't allow you talk to my sister like this. Have you suddenly lost your mind",Josh said.

"Am I wrong?",Angel asked.

" You are sure as hell wrong. Its not her fault,it has never been her fault and will never be her fault. Its the fault of those bros,they HV no idea who they messed with. And let be this be the first and last time you talk to my sister like that again ",Jay said angrily and walked out.

" Bro,bro ",Jack said and followed Jay.

" Can't you shut up for once? You ought to defend her and not the other way around. If Nathan or whatever his name is, had done that to you,we would HV done the same thing and Mae will have defended you. Don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you",Ryan said and left.

"I left you because you are my brothers girlfriend and my best friends sister,if not for them I would HV dumped you with those cave men so you could learn some manners", Josh said and left with Ry to meet Jay I think. When he said best friend he meant Ryder. Josh and Ry are besties. Jay,Jack and Ryan are besties. I,Avery and Reeny are besties . Mil and Angel are besties but we ten call ourselves best friends because we are all close to each other except I and Angel.

Avery and Reeny pulled me away so I won't get more angry than I am currently. The news of the fight went viral even before school ended for the day and I am not surprised,but when I will vex is when any one says anything to my hearing.

We are at home and we weren't surprised my mom wasn't home because she said something about going out with Anna and Susan. Few hours later,she came back and I told her we got detention.

" What happened why did you guys get detention? ",she asked.

" Some kid in school wanted to beat grumpy, we lost our cool and began to fight".

"Did you explain to the principal ?".

" Yes,we did. But it seems he has always hated us",I said.

"Who is this principal if I may ask?", my mom asked.

" Who else could hate us this much if not Principal Kelvis", Jay said angrily.

"From Demonia?", my mom asked.

" Yes,ma. Does he expect us to let those punk hit Mae? If he expects that then he is in for a fight",Jay said and went up the stairs

"Ma,please talk to him. It seems he just doesn't like us,we would do the same thing if that kid or any kid lays a finger on Mae again but this time he might not survive it", Josh said and left for his bed room.

" Go talk to Jay,he seems pissed",my mom said.

"What of Josh??", I asked.

" He has always been protective of you, so it won't be hard calming him down. I will go talk to Josh after washing the dishes just go and talk to Jay",my mom suggested and I nodded and left for Jays room.

I went to his room later in the night because I wanted him to cool off a little before talking to him.

"Come in", Jay said after I knocked on his door.

I came in and sat on his bed close to him," Its unusual seeing you like this and it makes me feel uncomfortable ",I said.

" Why because I am the responsible one,because I am not as protective as Josh is when it comes to you or is it because I don't like showing emotions or is it because I love my sister so much? Which one?",he asked.

"All of it. Why don't you like showing emotions like anger, hatred, etc"

"Because of dad"

"Dad?"

"Yes,you think I don't notice it when ma cries behind close doors or when you always wanted dad at our school functions or when Josh hated dad for making you and ma miserable. I didn't know how to show or handle my emotions so I locked them up instead. It hurts when ma talks about him with tears in her eyes. It hurt living without a father figure. It hurt seeing my sister and brother get mad at the mention of his name. I may not show it but I love you so much. I sometimes get mad that you are closer to Josh than me but what can I do,its the price I HV to pay for locking my emotions up. I might frustrate you but that's what big Bros do. I love you, Josh and ma so much,I can give my life down for you three. But don't tell Josh I said so ", Jay said

" Y shouldn't I tell him?",I asked arching an eyebrow.

"He won't let me hear the end of it" he grins and I laughed because he is so correct. Josh will call him gay for saying he loves him.

"Sure. And I don't want you to feel because I am closer to Josh it means I love you less. I love you both equally. And you are not my big bro,you senior me with just four to five seconds", I chuckled.

" But I came out before you and Josh, so technically I am your big bro",he smiled.

"Whatever. I love you", I said.

" I love you too,hear it now cause I won't say it again",I laughed, hugged him and stood up.

"Hey settle things with bae would you?", I said.

" I will but you didn't expect me let her rant on. I might love her but I love my sister more. Don't worry,we know how to settle this",he said.

"You sure?", I asked.

" Yea,if I need your help I will let you know. Good night lil sis",he said.

"Good night, Jay", I said and left for my room.
