IAmWiseGirl: Percy was in New York, handing out candy to tiny children. Jason and Frank were visiting Camp Jupiter across the country. Rachel's parents were out of town. Hazel was visiting New York for the weekend. The three of us decided to go to Rachel's house to celebrate Halloween our own way. When we got there, we found this anime called Corpse Party, which is about these nine people who get trapped in an alternate dimension where ghost children, other people, and an ax wielding maniac slowly try to kill off all the characters. By the end, the four of us were huddled in a corner, terrified when one of made a noise.

PiperMcLean: Then we saw EricVanWilderman play the game, and we got unscared.

IAmWiseGirl: In the anime, 2 and 1/2 people make it out.

IAmWiseGirl: Basically an otaku learns to love bicycle racing when a kid dares him to race. It's really funny.

ISurvivedTheUnderworld: Might look into that.

IAmWiseGirl: Basically this otaku brother and sister get pulled into a war between humans and demons when the brother saves this demon girl, dies, and brings the brother back as her underling to save all of Akihabra from a demon group called the Bugged Ones who want to "cleanse" Akihabra by killing all the humans. It's better than how I'm describing it.

"Hey E!" Mary, one of Emma's friends said, walking up to her, holding a multicolored fidget spinner.

"Hey Mary."

"I can't believe what happened yesterday at Top Ten!"

"Me neither. Do you think Wade actually, you know," Emma put her hand up to her mouth, making it look like she was smoking something.

"I honestly have no idea! That make out session that Wade and Cassidy had though..."

"I know! I didn't expect that to happen!"

"And what were you doing the entire time?"

"Reading Trials of Apollo."

Mary rolled her eyes. "Of course you were. What are you going to read next? Kane Chronicles?"

"You may think that I'm obsessed, but I'm not. Just for the record."

"Whatever." Mary rolled her eyes. "How was holding the door open?"

"Great. I had flashbacks to when we built the set the first time. I was holding the door open then too."

Mary chuckled, then checked her watch. "I gotta go. I'm supposed to be meeting Karissa at Starbucks. See you later?"

"Yeah. Bye Mary!"

"Bye."

As Mary walked away, Emma sighed. "If I'm ever gonna survive, I need to read more."

Emma glanced up and saw a human like bird flying right towards her. It was carrying a whip which had fire coursing through it. "Great. A Kindly One. Better run inside!"
