The Next Day

He came there after getting ready and found her nowhere in living hall. She was not in the room either. He saw Madhavi Tai arranging breakfast for them.

"Madhavi Tai.." He called her while she lifted her face to look at him and smiled.

"Bolo Neil... " She said

"Vo... Did Avni already left ? " He asked her

"Nahi tho... She is in her study room.... I guess her mood is not good today... She is keep on yelling on someone on her phone and just went to her study... " She said in concern tone worrying about her. Neil gave a blank face thinking about her.

She arrived there and looked at them.

"Good Morning Neil..." She said with a smile while his trance got broken and he turned to look at her. She came near him.

"Neil... I am leaving now.... We have an important abroad meeting... " She said to him and while her bodyguard reached there.

" Mam the car is ready " He said while Avni nodded.

"Then what about me? " He asked her while she looked at him.

"You can come later Neil... You haven't had your breakfast right! " She said to him.

"Par Avni...You also Eat something... " Madhavi Tai said to her

"Nahi Tai... I have to leave now.... There is some things I need to take care of in the office... All have become lenient as I haven't been regular to office...Kuch kaam teek se nahi hua.." She said in anger as Things haven't done properly for the meeting which made her anger rise up since morning.

"Let me pack then... " She said while Avni stopped her.

"Tai!... I have said na... I don't have time.." She said and about to go while she got stopped.

She turned and saw him holding her hand. Avni looked at his hand and then him. It was the first time he hold her hand and Avni was looking at him.

"You not going anywhere atleast not before having something... " He made her to sit on the chair while Avni was just looking at him. It is unlike him. He never did this at least not after how they have married. He sat on his seat. Madhavi Tai served her.

"What are you doing Neil? " She asked him while he looked at her. Madhavi Tai stopped and looked at them. She knows her temper very well.

He looked at Madhavi Tai and just nodded saying that he will handle her while she nodded smiling happily and just went from there.

"If you are doing this because what I did for you yesterday then Don't " She said sternly looking at him. As she don't need his sympathy because she done something for him.

"Whatever you want to understand....You understand Avni... " He said to her while she looked at him. He then started eating She smirked suddenly.

"Fine!!... I understand that you really care for me....  I will only eat if you feed me with your hands..." She said folding her hands across her chest resting her back on the chair. Neil looked at her.

Avni chuckled and about to speak while Neil took the toast and just kept near her mouth making her surprised.

"Have it! " He said seeing her just staring at him.

Avni took a bite and her eyes never left his. Her eyes started getting teary as no one has ever fed her in those years. And it really remind her of her Parents.

He caught her tears and his eyes got soften.

"Avni... " He called her in lowtone and her trance got broken and she looked away.

"I am done! " She stood up to leave while he again hold her hand stopping him.

"Please... " He requested her to sit while she slowly sat and was continuously looking at his eyes while he fed her.

Later on

They were going in Car while Neil was reading a file while Avni was looking at him.

"Why he did that?... Why he didn't fought with me for saying that ?.... Did he do that because I didn't charged anything on his father or... Or does he really care for me?.." Avni remember him how he was worried when she cut her palm. His worried eyes when he saw her in vulnerable state were still flashed in her brain like a photographs.

"Would he have done everything if he haven't cared for you avni?.... This is the Neil you have fallen for Avni... Why do you doubt him?... Just Accept it Avni... " Her heart says to her.

" Yess he was Neil you have fallen for her... But he is not like this recently.... Don't get fooled again Avni. You got your heart broken once.... You can't fall weak this time.... You can't be dependant on him" Her mind chided.

"Then why did you Marry him Avni ?... Because you love him. Because you need him " Her heart says

"Think what everyone did to you... Everyone abandoned you and even he did the same when you confessed your feeling. " Her mind said

Avni gasped and feels like her thoughts choking her. She kept her hand on her heart, taking deep breaths. Neil looked at her. All he could remember is that day.

"Avni... " He called her and just took the water bottle and opened it and asked her to drink it.

"Have some! " He said while she was still looking at him.

"Why are you looking at me?... Are you alright?... Do you wanna go home? ...Do you have your medicines with you?" He shooted her with questions. He got really worried seeing her.

She drank some water while he was looking at her waiting for her to say something about how she feels. If she is alright or she is not feeling well. Whether she wanna go home or she can able to go to office. Whether she is stable or not.

She didn't said anything and looked outside the window. He sighed looking at her.

Later on

They entered their Cabin. While Avni turned and saw him behind her.

"Don't do this Neil!..You don't have to Act" She said and left to meeting room where everyone is hell afraid waiting for her. They know Avni gonna blast on them.

Neil stood there seeing her retreating figure.

"I know it's gonna be difficult then I thought..." He thought on his mind.

For the First time, Neil made her confused by his behavior. She knows Neil is Caring Person. He cares for everyone who are closed to him. She knows how he cared for her and made her feel. But She can't able to accept him doing that now. She was doubting him because she was afraid of getting hurt again. Whether he will leave her like he did once. She knows she forcefully bond him with this relationship because she don't wanna lose him. But still she was afraid.

She felt like it's better to fight daily then to be in a Fake Act. She want to give him every happiness because she knows his sorrows but she don't want him to give anything in return for her. Because she don't want to fall weak before the life by depending on him.

Little did she knew Life don't work in that way. Humans have this tendency to be emotionaly dependant on someone who they are closed to. Avni is not at fault either, she wasn't aware. All these year, she don't have anyone. She never had anyone who she love or to be loved. She didn't had anyone who she can share anything, who she can cry on someone's shoulder. Who she can call her own. Who she can fight with. All these years, she was alone untill he met Neil who she believed that she can be with him. But When he rejected her, her trust broken. Neil can't be blamed for rejecting Avni because his situation was like that but however she was shattered. Now she is afraid of doing that again.
