As Shiki predicted, it took almost Law a month to reach to his destination after visiting two islands between the way.
His crew had raised their brows when he had announced their next destination after disposing the pirate they had captured at the snowy island as the island they were heading to was quite a small village that was mostly overlooked.
However they didn't question his decision and blindly followed him like the loyal crew they were.
Since they were on smooth waters and no impending danger brewing, the Heart Pirates decided to relax as most took it upon themselves to laze around on deck, some playing with cards while enjoying the cool breeze in the air.
Law was one of the people relaxing on deck, laying against his comfy sleeping first mate with his hands folded behind his head, his furred hat slightly tipped over his eyes. However, on top of the snoozing bear's round belly was a curled up black cat that was also sleeping.
Over the past few months, Law would occasionally find the cat of the ship, asleep on his first mate, and he had given up the idea of the cat leaving his bear alone after many failed attempts at removing him.
The sound of the metal door opening caught some of the pirate's attention but didn't grab their full attention as they went back to what they were doing.
Law had tilted his head up at Jambarl just as he closed the metal door behind him.
"Any news?" Law questioned as the small giant walked over to him.
The navigator nodded with a grunt, "We should arrive within an hour at this speed."
Law leaned back comfortably back on his first mate, a grin on his lips, "Good work. Keep on going at this pace unless something comes up." he ordered, closing his eyes.
Jambarl nodded, "Yes, Captain."

On a prehistoric island, a black blur could barely be seen as it raced through the thickets of trees which seconds later, were trampled over as a T-rex bulldozed through the forest, its green eyes narrowed into slits as it focused on its prey.
Letting a loud roar that echoed throughout the forest, the blur leaped into the trees, bouncing off them in a zig-zag fashion to try to lose the overgrown reptile.
Flipping through the air before coming to a landing, Shiki quickly raced forward just a huge scaly foot stomped where she would have been.
Shiki clicked her tongue as she glanced at the brown-scaled reptile before glancing at the bright blue berry, that was the size of a watermelon, but light as a handful of grapes in her hand. Her job this time was to retrieve this fruit.
A relatively easy request for her, but Shiki didn't expect that she would be targeted as prey from a very persistent historically aged dinosaur.
With the berry in her hand, she continued to run from the T-rex, only speeding forward when she felt the large reptile diving its head to take a bite from her.
Upon reaching the end of the forest, Shiki could see that further beyond it, a dead end was her only path if she kept on running towards the cliff.
Yet, it didn't deter her. In fact, she only ran faster.
Once she was coming near the end, she leaped off the cliff while the T-rex stuttered to a stop right before the edge while small pieces of rubble broke off. Seeing its pray escaping, the T-rex gave a loud roar, shaking the ground.
Shiki was quickly falling, one arm raised up while the other was securely holding the berry that they had come for.
Before she could even reach towards the point sharp rocks waiting for their next fallen victim and to be covered in blood before being cleansed by the sea, Shiki was quickly swooped out of the air as her raised hand was caught.
"Sorry for being late, I was being chased by some pterodactyls." an annoyed huff was heard from above as well as the sound of wings flapping through the air.
Shiki looked up to a large indigo hawk, her hand holding onto the leg above the razor sharp talons, "Did you get hurt?" she asked, trying to spot if there was any blood clotted feathers on her.
Reika shook her feathered head, "Nope, what about you? I saw you being chased by a T-rex."
She shook her head.
The hawk glided through the air, flying away from the periodic island, "I hope the client will be happy after what we just been through. Like who the fuck wants a berry from all the way in prehistoric island that's invested with large reptiles?" she grumbled.

"Oiiiii, guys! I can see the island!" Penguin said excitedly, leaning over the railings as if he could get closer just by doing that.
The others stood up and joined the mechanic, seeing the small island from afar.
Many murmurs broke out, wondering just what the small island had to offer.
Leo, who had finished preparations for lunch with Ren, had gone up to the deck for his break, and had grabbed little Captain into his arms without any resistance. As he cradled the cat in his arms, he turned to the big captain, a question on his mind, "Not that I'm against your decisions or anything, Captain, but why are we stopping here, I thought you were going for more populated islands in the West."
Law shrugged, having gotten up from his first mate and was now leaning against the railings behind him, crossing his arms, Law stared towards where everyone was looking at, "Just a slight detour, nothing to worry about. Although," his eyes glanced at him from the corner of his stormy eyes, I think you'll enjoy this particular detour."
Leo noticed the smirk on his face, he could tell that he knew something that he didn't but shrugged it off since he knew Law wouldn't harm his crew, "I see, let's just hope you're right, Captain."

There wasn't much on the island, however it seemed like there was a close community in this small town village.
Cottage houses lined up, on or two restaurants on opposite ends of the village but only one bar in this whole village.
However, away from the village, near the cliffs, stood a lone house overlooking the ocean.
"You guys are free to do whatever you want." Law ordered before turning to his first mate, "Bepo, come with me." he ordered.
"Aye, Captain!"

The group had split up, with Ren gathering his team to help restock their inventory while the others either stayed on board or headed to the bar to go relax.
The mechanics, Jambarl, Kyle and Jerry entered the bar and was welcomed to an empty sight aside from the barmaid in a standard bartender uniform, cleaning a glass.
The place was pretty cozy, with its wooden furniture, message board and an unoccupied hammock set up to a side.
Penguin took an unsure step inside, "Uhhh... is this place open?"
The blonde in the bar looked up, blue eyes staring at the five that came in, "Y-Yes! It's open. My name is Cecelia, what can I get you gentleman?" she gave them a shy smile.
"C-Cute~" ran through the thought of four men.
Jambarl grunted from behind the group and pushed through, getting a seat at the counter, "Beer, please." he ordered.
"Yes sir." she smiled, quickly getting the order and placing it right in front of the small giant, "And the others?" she turned to rest.
Penguin, Shachi and Jerry scrambled up to the counter, trying to get a seat closest to her, "The same, please!" they rushed with grins on their faces, slightly spooking the girl.
"C-Coming right up."
As she was getting their drinks, Kyle was staring at the lone flier pinned in the middle of the message board with a raised brow.
"Hey," he called out, gaining the other's attention, "why is this the only paper here?"
"Because the people here only need that paper." Cecelia replied, placing the last order in front of the penguin-hat wearing guy.
Kyle stared at the plain white paper that offered help to the people who called, "Can do anything within reason." Kyle read then scanned towards a bit down, "Will only do jobs that are appropriate." he then turned to the barmaid, "Anything?"
Cecelia turned to them with a nervous smile, "Anything within reason. Aside from drinking, people come here to put up a job request for, uhhh, Ritsu-san."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Then if I were to request this person to capture someone for me by within 2 days, would they do it?
She narrowed her blue eyes in suspicion, "Depends on who."
"A pirate named..." Kyle took out a pile of bounty papers as he walked up to them, "Almond Warz."
Cecelia stared at the bounty paper before putting a finger up, "Wait one moment, please." she took the paper and disappeared behind back, probably to the kitchen.
It was quiet for a moment before she peered back out, "Do you know where he is?" she asked, a den den mushi receiver in hand.
Kyle nodded and told her while she relayed the message in a hushed tone. She then came back out with the den den mushi and bounty paper in hand, "... Ritsu-san says the price for this is about..." Cecelia quickly took out her notepad from under the counter and jotted the number on a notepad, then showed it to them, "this much."
"7000 belies?! That's too much!" Kyle exclaimed, the mechanics and Jerry nearly choked on their drinks.
"Errr, Ritsu-san, they said that it's too much..." Cecelia whispered into the receiver, cupping over the receiver to hushed their conversation while the snail wordlessly talked in sync, "Uhhuh, I see." she nodded, jotting something else down.
The pirates gulped when they saw her continuous writing and prepared to haggle if need be.
Or just forget the whole thing if necessary. They didn't even know if this 'Ritsu' person was good or not.
"Okay, what about this?" she showed them the notepad again.
Kyle huffed and snatch the notepad, glaring at the new price, "Let's see, a carton of milk, 2 loaves of bread, butter, cheese, meat, a bag of apples... the fuck, this is just a grocery list?!"
Cecelia nodded as if this was normal, "It appears that... Ristu-san haven't gone shopping yet."
Kyle rubbed his nose, "Fine, lets see if this is worth it." he sighed, accepting the offer.
"Oi, Kyle, what about Captain? Aren't you going to ask for his permission first?" Shachi pointed out with a frown.
"It's fine, we're not losing anything drastic, just a grocery list." Kyle waved it off, "Just don't tell him about it."
Penguin and Shachi gave each other a look before sighing and turning their focus on the pretty bar lady.
All this while Jambarl watch with an inward sigh.
